The Bunnies opted to receive the ball and surrounded the Goblins in the hope of pummeling them to a pulp. After a few rounds they started being quite successful at this, despite having their tackle-player knocked out. The Goblins caught a break, when Gomez Addams intercepted a pass from Queen Bruise, but soon he was taken down and the Bunnies regained control of the ball. Signe Trolle started a frenzy seldom seen by a rookie by scoring her first of 5 touchdowns in the match, and Nick Nitro who had been stunned for most of the first drive not throwing a single bomb was expelled for using a secret weapon. This was a meager start for the Goblin special players, but more meagerness was to come for the Goblins who could not induce a single bribe.
With several key players out, the Goblins were unable to produce much with regards to the offence. Their drive was soon stopped dead in its tracks, and the Bunnies were back on top with a quick defensive touchdown, which meant the expulsion of Kip Killigan and Major Payne. The latter had already been knocked out. The Goblins were further hampered when a foul also ended in an ejection.
For the second half the remaining Goblins – mostly rookies – and one rookie troll were no match for a Bunny team – and especially a Signe Trolle – on fire. She scored all of the Bunnies’ 5 touchdowns in their 5-0 victory amassing 18 star player point which is tied for a franchise record.
