Match notes
Once again the elves from a random big forrest somewhere in the old world every man has long time forgotten, travelled to the dungeons of Aros to once again face a team known mostly for their brutality, as last seasons most leathal team, Riepers in Place, fielded the opposite half of the pitch.

The watchers had feared that the Reapers would hire the notoriuos starplayer Count von Drackenbourg and so it was as the Reapers lined up to kick the ball. The ref was by the way seen wearing a very heavy bling bling chain around his neck when he arrived to the stadium this day, speculations has been that the Reapers had bribed him with gold from the secret treasuryrooms deep beneath the Cheops.

Anyway the ball was kicked of and the watchers kindof caught the Reapers by surprise as they came out gunslinging and quickly lay down mummy Prince Rahektep and with a stunishing diving kick from Nimrodell Joyrider actually killed the old lad. This sudden strike out of nowhere apparently disabled him from ever standing up again. The game went on and time after the watchers where in a good chance of scoring or so they thought cause the old vamp made a few nice dodges from the elves and blocked ballcarriering Josiah Fetterweight which only resulted in a push, but inspired by his now furious team made a second attempt but ach the little former Elven League boxer had seen it come this time and knocked him down with just one hand! and now stepped completely unmarked in to the endzone 1-0.

Its uncertained if it was at this point rain started pouring down, but as the Reapers received the ball they made good blocks but then again had trouble handling the ball as it slipped out of the hands of a ghoul in their midhalf of the pitch. Loudmouth Glassjaw, the always bragging elven catcher saw this right away and together with a few teammates rushed the ghoul leaving him and the ball on the ground. The Reapers retaliated the rush by gathering most players around the elves at the ball. The Watchers tried sorting the ball out but Loudmouth fell in his attempt to do so. Reapers now tried grabbing their hands on the ball but once again it was slippery and wet. And so after alot of rumble around the ball for some time Loudmouth had gotten away with it and was now heading for td. The Reapers wight Skeletor reached him shortly before the goalline knocking him down and shorty after a ghoul held the ball in his own endzone and as he was blitzed by an elf dropped the ball again this time right into the hands of Loudmouth who was quickle up again and now standing in endzone with the ball... 2-0.

With not much time left on the clock the two teams wrestled around a while on the line of scirmage before the bell rang for halftime.

Reapers started 2nd half receiving again and this time with more luck forming their cage. The elves thus stepped completely fearless into it and so Count Drackenbourg, holding the ball, decided to rush up the field alone after a great rush through the elves' frontline. But they sure arent elves for nothing and quickly 3-4 elves had beaten him to the ground. Amazingly he got up and reclaimed the ball with a little help from two teammates and also got in a good scoring possesion. The elves this time failed to knock him down infact they helped his td on the way by pushing him into their own endzone 2-1. As They received again a longpass for Catcher Jelly fastlegs failed and the ball lay on the ground, but as time werent on the Reapers' side they went for a pass up the field, this, however, was intercepted by Aernarion Starglazer despite his lagg of agility. He now ran for the securing td and with a tired team behind him not able to cheer him up he pushed it just a little for the td 3-1.The game was now decided and the last kickoff didnt matter for the result. And so once again the Woodwatchers were victorius and now went home to their forrest with a great feeling about the upcoming playoffs.
