Match notes
Rain was pouring down on PlayBall Stadium as the two teams lined up for the match, but at first it was only the Bunnies who displayed any signs of autumn drowsiness after the summer holidays. Lurkers and their fans were ready from the start.

Already before the match Lurker agents had been busy planting illnesses and sowing discord in the Bunny camp resulting in Synne Buch’s and Thera Π’s refusing to be on the pitch at the same time and Maj Stang’s not showing up at all due to a mysterious virus.

And in the first drive of the match the Lurker fans decided that they wanted in on the fun too. A pitch invasion left four Bunny players and no Lurkers biting the dust. With too few players left standing the Bunnies could not cover the ball efficiently enough against the fast moving Skaven and the Lurkers got hold of the ball. After a miraculous recovery of the ball, however, it looked as if the Bunnies might be able to push back after all, but the crucial recovery pass by Ru Tine was intercepted by "Medusa" Darkgaze and the Lurkers took the lead.

The Bunnies were always quite able to get the ball to Synne Buch without Thera Π on the pitch but during the entire match she was always succesfully shut down by the Lurkers. Mostly due to some rather fancy dodging and blocking by "Dominator" Spike. That resulted in another defensive touchdown for the Skaven. Again the touchdown was signed by rookie storm vermin "Medusa" Darkgaze.

With the Bunny star thrower virtually out of the game, something else was needed. Luckily for the Bunnies blitzer Ann Griff displayed great prowess of hands making a total of five completions in the match not failing a single throw. This resulted in the first and only touchdown of the match by the otherwise dreaded Bunny offence. Pil Grimm the scorer.

A quick offensive drive from the Lurkers resulted in their third touchdown thus ending the first half. "Terror-Bull" The Ram was the scorer.

During the latter part of the first half the weather changed, and on dry turf the two teams lined up for the second half.

The Bunnies knew something had to be done on their otherwise weak defensive front. It also looked as if they suddenly remembered the summer’s dancing lessons ordered by Sir Dennis Lickbottom. Suddenly the Bunnies were dodging like never before. With this new weapon in hand they managed to get to the Lurker ball carrier "Sgt Bash" Warpfire in the next two drives in succession and wrenching the ball from him. Both times defensive touchdowns were the result.

The Lurkers did not panic after the equalizer, though. A well-planned offensive drive through an already decimated Bunny line-up was so successful that it even had time to stall a turn before what proved to be the game-winning touchdown by "Terror-Bull" The Ram.

The Bunnies failed to make a one-turn touchdown at the end of the match, but they got a final completion – yes! That of star quarterbunny Synne Buch.

Lurkers 4 – Bunnies 3 the final score in an exciting match which saw the factor of luck equally distributed. Neither team picked up any injuries that will hamper them in the future.
