Argos is dead! After playing in DDs first 59 matches never missing a single match, he was killed twice in last night match against the evil orcs:
Zola^BB - Deadly Doom (season XVI, cross-over)

The first time he of course regenerated, but when he was killed again in the very last turn of the match, after the orcs had settles for a tie, the extreme heat was too much for the old skeleton. His legs had been separated from his torso, and before anyone could do anything about it a fan had scoped up a set of great souvenirs, and even Necromancer Kynde could do little to get Argos back to BB.

But what a match to end a long BB carrier. The first half was not worth much to DD, as 6 players were KOed and a 7th BH without regenerating. But Ramses the 5th made his 9th kill (apoed though) and Ra made a SI in the last turn (This made him a super star, equalling Ramses the 5th and he has now learned to guard. Sadly he also feels older like the other mummy, and now has a niggling).

After this Argos awoke from his KO, and second half (where we recived) began with our fans killing the ref.

And then Argos had a ball, by first BH troll Dumbwhaat and then in his second try he managed to kill frenzy blitzer Guntermann II who now has joined DD as zombie Guntermann II the 2nd.
After this he was killed, but at that time he managed to regenerate, and then Mean 'n' Green made a quick TD (learning to jump up), cause DD would then be outnumbering the orcs 10-8 and their DP had just been thrown out.

But DD could not take the win as two ghouls collapsed in the severe heat, and in the end we had to fight for a tie.

Before the last turn Argos was smacked to the ground, but nothing happened to him, and Kynde was elated, stating that now nothing can prevent him from joning the celebration of DDs match 60 in the round of 16th, which would also have been the skeletons 60th match in a row for DD. But then as a last action the orcs took a final hit at Argos and that will be the end of an era in Aros.

Argos is probably the player who has made the most fouls in the history of Aros! These resulted in no less than 30 casualty, 6 kills of which 4 where permanent (and two of these plays for DD now!). On top of this he also managed to inflict 5 casualties in normal blocks (one kill), and he obtained 4 MVPs leaving him at 30 spp just one from becoming an emerging star. But on DD he has been a star for several seasons. It only took him 4 matches to become MVP twice, so this was his 55th match as a dirty player. Since then he has managed to get himself expelled 13 times (4 times along with his coach).

The amazing part is that he lasted so long, being a hated skeleton with only AV 7 and AG 2 and with a bounty of 30 k on his head. But in 58 matches he has only been injured 6 times, only one of these worse than BH, and that one he regenerated. But the last two injuries were too much for him!

Now only Ramses the 5th are left of the original team, and due to his aging niggling he has missed one match. He thus needs to pass his niggling two more time on our way to the final, before he reaches 60th matches.

But he has still four matches to go before DD finally can lift the championship cup. And Argos is not about to miss it. We will bring along his torso for the remaining matches so he can see his old team take the trophy home!

Count Luthor will be joining DD in the round of 16th. And due to the record gate in last nights match, we have also reason to believe that the vampire will be able to join us in the quarterfinals.

So to all the fans, join us for more bloodshed next week, when we will try to defend our spot as the most lethal team of this season with one kill per match. And if all this blood makes your throat dry, then you can soften it up with a free beer from our sponsors:

We completely concour with Silverado Snakeskins and Bad Moon Backstabbers regarding the dammed elves from Blood Bowl Bunnies.

We tried our best getting close to the goal set by Anton. Killing one and SI one more, but we failed to win.

If anyone can meet the standard set by Anton, our sponsor will also give the great coach a beer:

Pitt was not allowed to score, but he survived :/ But it was enough for DD to get back in the winners circle after three miserable games in a row.

With the win in
Deadly Doom - Chaos49 (season XVI, round 7)
DD has for the sixth season in a row secured their spot in the play-off, once again with one match to go. That has only failed one season. It will be nice to play without the pressure on in the last match.

Then we can also focus on regaining the Most Lethal team spot after we lost it yesterday. DD is still the only team with 5 kills, but there are teams with 4 kills in only 4 matches, we have already played all 6 group matches.

Our next match will be the cross over, and since neither our or group A is decided yet there are four teams we can meet. The three teams in positions 2-4 of group A has not played against each other yet, and all four can end on position 1-4, and we will end on either position 2 or 3.

In yesterdays match the first half was a mess. A pitch invasion should have secured us getting the ball, but a bad blitz and a failed pick-up made an impossible pass action work for Chaos49, and when they the came blitzing out in the blizzard, we could have lost it. But with a little luck Enasni the Death Eater managed to move the ball down pitch, and recover it after being stripped from it to tie for 1-1. And before that Ra had finally opened for the removal of rats, as he made two cas in the last 3 turn of the half.

Second half became a hunt for one turner Pitt, and it succeeded in the way that he was tackled down in a dodge, and then fouled KO by Argos. Argos had already BH rat ogre Igor and continued without getting spotted making two more KOs after Pitt.

But even with 3 players left on pitch the game was not secured when Enasni the Death Eater took the lead for 2-1, because Pitt awoke from his KO. Luckily for DD the thrower then fumbled his pass!

Ra shows real promise this season with an average of one cas per match. Ramses the 5th on the other hand has only managed one cas so far, but for some reason he just received his second MVP of the season. This has taken him to exactly 100 spp as the first (and probably last?) player on DD. He has thus reached the top 15 on the list of the all time most experienced players in Aros.

After the match Sinistra Dextre were retired to assisting coach. During his BB carrier he has suffered 6 injuries only one of which were a BH, and he thus missed 5 matches. But it was never because of his niggling which he passed 8 times! But now he has become to heavy a burden with his low strength as well. But we are glad to keep him on the team to assist the new Ghouls in how to be elusive on the pitch!

After the bad run of four matches with only one TD in each, we once again managed to make two, and our fans loved it and their number once more increased. So once again we are tied as the most popular team in Aros!

So fans, don’t miss the cross over match were we will do our best to make two kills to get back to one kill per match. And remember that our sponsor hands out free bear for our fans, so be there and support us and:

We hate wizards and lizards, but at least we did not loose to a stunty team this time.

DD has never had any luck against teams with a majority of stunty players, and when they even hire a wizard, things becomes tricky. But even though the wizard did his worst and caused DD to fall behind 0-1 in their own receiving our fans helped us out in second half with a pitch invasion and after a lot of fumbling around with the ball DD manage to tie the match in the last turn tanks to Enasni the Death Eater:

Deadly Doom - Slann Renegades (season XVI, round 5)

DD keeps up the high kill rate of 1 kill per match, but in the last two matches this has also been the kill rate against DD. This time we lost seasoned dirty player Xorn who almost reached his 50th match for DD. He had never missed a match before he was killed yesterday in his 46th match for DD in a row! His skills will be missed!

At least our other DP Argos also killed one of the lizards. For that he received the MVP! Ra made two BH one of those on the beast him self kroxigor Kothoga "Beast" Slowitz. And Mean 'n' Green took out an annoying skink at the end of the match to ensure a free path to the TD! Also Wolf who as opposed to Xorn managed to regenerate when he was killed came back and tackled a dodging skink SI.

Our fans of course loved the fact that they were “allowed” to help us on the pitch! No new fans were gained but at least none were lost either even though we did not win. But with a wizard working it can be hard to keep the ball safe!

We are now well under way in the group matches, but with the last 3 miserable matches we can not feel to secure on our spot in the play-off. At least our last group match will be against skaven. You just gotta love those small ST 3, AV 7 and AG 3 players. We look forward to shed some rat blood.

But that will not be until two weeks from now, as Necromancer Kynde now will take a week of holiday to recuperate after this string of bad matches. In Turkey he will use his black magic to try and darken the sun. (Solar Eclipse here I come for 29/3 on the Mediterranean cost! :D)

But a fortnight from now we will be back to smack rats, so be there for the free sponsor beer and support DD and our sponsor:

Thora Rulle is DEAD! And that is the only positive that DD can take away from tonight’s match against last seasons champs:
Blood Bowl Bunnies - Deadly Doom (season XVI, round 3)

But that fact should also have helped us take home a 2-1 victory. But our opponent was so incredibly lucky dodging into cages and away from diving tackler Enasni the Death Eater often through TZ as well.

A quick snap resulted in a broken collar bone and one weak Ghoul Sinistra Dextre. And then they continued after the hated one turner Thora Rulle had done her thing, with a blitz. They took two turns before our first.

Nevertheless we managed to get hold of the ball and inflict lots of pain to the elfs during the rest of the first half and tied at the last turn. It was Mean Midget who scored his last TD for DD.

But before that Erik also suffered a SI injury when he broke his neck. Not so bad for skeleton (-AG) but his guarding skills will be missed in the next match against 7 ST 4+ players!

And as indicated above Mean Midget was killed when he were sacked midway through 2nd half. It was Metha Stase who just dodged through TZ away from Enasni the Death Eater 5+, then out 2+ and into the cage through a TZ first (3+, 5+) and then got the one dice clean needed, broke AV made a cas and then a kill. And a turn later Synne Buch dodged twice and then picked up in 3 TZ (5+) and passed a long bomb in 3 TZ (6+) to take the win away from us.

We tried to kill those two and other after that, but only managed a KO (on killer Metha Stase) a MNG on Vira Go and a BH on Synne Buch, the last two in the crowd, the first on a foul!

Only good thing is that Ramses the 5th finally got underway with his first cas of the season (and when the apo saved the niggling Xorn fouled the elf blitzer Ann Griff MNG anyway :D). Also Ra mad a BH, but match winner was Mr. Stone Cold who made two cas including the KILL on Thora Rulle. He should have been the MVP, but when Ramses the 5th pushed the hated thrower Synne Buch into a crowd cas after she made the infamous completion, he got the MVP instead. (Closing in on 100 spp!)

At least our fans stayed with us, but the 30 k we earned will not replace the two ghouls we got molested. And what about our hope to save up for hirering Count Luthor in the play-offs. :/

Maybe Sinistra Dextre will have to stay on the team even with a niggling and a ST of 2. He will still be annoying, and very fearless! But a new ghoul will be needed! DAMN!

So be there next time to see what we can do against the dinos from Slann Renegades. At least they do not have AG 4!!! Our sponsor will serve a beer for our faithful fans who stays with us even when we have troubles with the stupid elfs!

What! ZERO Casualties, and against an elf team! In more than 50 matches in a row (since our third) have we never left the pitch without at least inflicting one casualty, but yesterday we failed to do this, even suffering one our selves against an ELF team :/

The terrible match:
New Forest Rangers - Deadly Doom (season XVI, round 4)
of course resulted in nothing more than a tie, after last time where we inflicted 7 casualties on New Forest Rangers and won 2-0.

But only 5 KOs did we manage and most of these came straight back in.

It still seemed like we would take the win, but suddenly the elfs trashed us two times in a row, KOing the ball carrier both times. The second of these S. Finxter had saved the match already though by intercepting a pass after the first trash! That had been Mean Midget who lost that ball, but he at least scored the TD in the first half.

Incredibly we ended up with a really great chance of winning, when Enasni the Death Eater only had to make a simple dodge and a go for it to score. But he failed miserably. But just getting into position had been challenging as he had to dodge away from a diving tackler to get there. And getting the ball took all the efforts of the remaining players on the pitch, especially rookie Ghoul Mean 'n' Green who grabbed the ball in a TZ and passed it from there to the waiting receiver. But in vain!

Still it was the second match in a row Enasni the Death Eater caught a long pass in the end of a half, and although he failed to score this time, he was still awarded our MVP and he has now himself learned how to stop opponents from dodging with his new Diving Tackle skill!

The mummies are just pathetic. Both have showed up for matches with hangovers this season, Ra has only made one casualty, and Ramses the 5th hasn't made one yet even though he actually has managed to play all three matches.

Surprisingly our fans stayed with us, and we hope we can get into gear tomorrow when the elfs from Blood Bowl Bunnies finally has the guts to play against us. But with our raging lust for casualties and a new defensive skill, they should fear us more than ever, champs or not!

So be there fans for the freely flowing sponsor beer and red elf blood!

Winning over the hated Chaos Dwarf and killing Bull Centaurs once more!

This time, however, the apo saved Dozer after Benno Brausekopf II killed him, so he won’t be joining Hoonaz reanimated as the second bull zombie on DD.

That was also the only really violent event in this uneventful match:
Fredsduerne - Deadly Doom (season XVI, round 2)

Argos managed to BH a chaos dwarf in a foul before he himself were BH along with Squiil: a Zombie. Both failed to regenerate but it was in the last drive of the match anyway.

The match only had two drives as we managed to make a great TD at the end of the first half (our kicking half) and then kept the ball out of dwafs reach (but also out of scoring reach) for the entire 2nd half.

Even with a wizard the hated Chaos Dwarf failed to score against DD. In the first two matches were DD ran into CD we had some serious trouble, but since then we have a 4-1 record. (Making it 4-3 today).

The match belonged to Sinistra Dextre who first stopped the dwarfs from scoring (the lone thrall that is, whom he KOed all by himself) , and then he ran all he could and made a long pass straight to Enasni the Death Eater after getting the ball on a hand-off from S. Finxter. After the easy catch Enasni the Death Eater could stroll over the EZ making it 1-0. The result of the match.

In second half we did feel the heat, but with the wizard gone and two mummies keeping up most of the dwarfs at the LoS, it was possible for Mean Midget to keep the ball safe all through the half, and for that he received the MVP.

With a good earning DD is now well on the way of securing the participation of Count Luthor in the play-off. And after beating the two most violent teams in the group, our only real threat to the top spot in the group is last season’s champs’ Blood Bowl Bunnies. But they are not anywhere near that form which helped them reach the final last season. So it will be time for elf bashing next match :D

So be sure to be there when the leagues two most popular teams, with the highest team rating, clash next week. (Well DD will be the one doing the clashing… :D)

And of course all official DD fans will receive a beer from our sponsor, so remember to support both them and DD!

Deadly Doom was on cruise control against the once so feared Halfdead Clawkillers.

But now the once so proud champs are reduced to a sorry bunch that was no match for the potent DD.

After last seasons disappointing ending DD came out of the winter hibernation firing on all engines, starting the season with a blitz move, catching their own kick-off. Enasni the Death Eater could hence score the seasons first TD already in turn 2 but first after Ra had made the first kill on Medløber Mads. It was even too bad for the apotech to heal, and hence Gravløber Mads will now be joining the undead. DD collected a bounty of 10 k for that kill, the first ever earned by DD.

Soon Halfdead Clawkillers were reduced to lying on the ground, the few that were left on pitch that is. The two dirty players Xorn and Argos had their part in this, as both made a casualty before getting thrown out. Argos even made it yet another kill as veteran beastman Ole took his final beating.

With these two kills DD increased the number of permanent kills inflicted on the Killers during their first 60 matches by 50% !!!

Hence DD was able to let newest addition to the team Mr. Stone Cold, score two TDs for his first skill: Tackle. Too hot to live up to his name… :D

Although DD would have liked to get rid of the feared Benny K. they never managed more than a stun on him, as he played like a true iron man, but he was also the only positive going for the Killers. He made three casualties, but only on zombies, one even on Gravløber Mads who got up on to the line of scrimmage much to the consternation of his former team-mates. But all three managed to regenerate.

So DD once again came out on top of a match against the most lethal team in Aros of all time.

The fans lowed it and we are now once again the most popular team in Aros tying with last seasons champs (but only because they have a trophy to back them up.)

We seem to have ended once again in the least bashy upper bracket, so there should be great potential for building up the team before the play-offs. Once again Necromancer Kynde belives this will be the Gold(en) season.

Trying to find a proof of this we have looked at the stats for DD’s first 5 seasons. After two seaons we took 3rd place. After four season we got 2nd. Now it is our 6th season hence statistically this should be the one in which we claim the top spot. ;)

So be there for our next match were we will turn our opponents into pulp in our hunt for the gold. And you fans, you can enjoy the golden beer delivered by our sponsor:

Necromancer Kynde is heading for training camp!

Here less than a week before season XVI coach Kynde will be away for the weekend to practice coaching Undeads.

Up north in Aalborg he will coach the rookie Undead team Vesterbro United (to victory of course), in the local tournament: TroaCon.

In this way he should be well prepared to tackle the more challenging task of steering DD in the right direction from this Tuesday,

After two seasons DD took 3rd place.
After four seasons DD took silver.

This may be the last season for DD, and it is their 6th. The stats speak for them selves: This season DD will take the gold!

So be there Tuesday when DD kicks off a new season, and as usual there will be a free beer from our sponsor to all our fans.

Only 4th this season. But 2nd-4th doesn’t interest us anyway. If we cannot get the gold we really do not care.

We still hate Chaos Dwarfs, and though we lost, we take pride in removing one of the hated Bull Centaurs from Aros in the match
Deadly Doom - Black Widows (season XV, 3rd place)

This was actually done by the crowd, and due to this the fans were so happy that none left us after the match. The two players that made this fan pleaser possible were Enasni the Death Eater who took a chance pushing the bull Hoonaz single-handedly out to the sideline and after that it was a peace of cake for Mean Midget to push the unsuspecting bull into the crowd with assist from the other Ghoul.

The fans then separated the bulls’ front from his rear and Necromancer Kynde raised the front as Hoonaz reanimated who next drive took to the LoS much to the consternation of his former team-mates :D

The Widows (now there were both one more and one less ;)) hated this so much that their wizard threw his fire ball at Hoonaz reanimated but he was only KOed along with S. Finxter whereas hero of the day Enasni the Death Eater remained on his feet and ran away with the ball to score for 1-2 the result of the match.

Obviously the dwarf really wanted the 3rd place, which was proven when they hired Hthark the Unstoppable and the wizard before the match. DD on the other hand even had given old Mummy Ramses the 5th the day of as the cold weather (blizzard) hurt his old legs. On top of this the dwarfs felt they needed two blitzes (where Hthark caught the ball on the second) and a perfect defence plus of course a hcp. So we feel alright by letting them have the 3rd place, as long as we inflicted more pain on them than they on us!

Actually Xorn managed to seriously injure Hthark but the apo saved him, Not that the apo could have helped Hoonaz in the crowd anyway :p Both our injured players managed to regenerate the otherwise SI inflicted on them.

We only fielded two ghouls today as Sinistra Dextre was injured in the semis, but what a job they did. Apart from their part in the killing of Hoonaz Mean Midget became an emerging star when he made his first completion. In doing this he has learned to run even faster, as fast as legendary ghoul Eata Corpus! In his first 2 season for DD (and his first 18 matches) this ghoul showed no talent at all, but during his last 9 of this season he has gone from zero to hero earning himself 31 spp in almost all categories. We are expecting great things from him next season.

Enasni the Death Eater earned himself his second MVP (in a row) for his TD, which completed a season where DD has managed to make at least on TD every match. With the MVP he became as good at side stepping opponents as Sinistra Dextre. They will become a real pain in the ass for the opponents next season!

With the missing of the match by Ramses the 5th only Argos has now participated in all DD’s matches. But once again the dirty skeleton was send off before the match was over. That was the 11th time in 52 matches!

Still Ramses the 5th was elected mummy of the year on DD as he made 10 cas (3 more than his previous season best and also 3 more than Ra.) And yes he missed a match, but so did Ra when he was arrested earlier this season. So congratulations to Ramses the 5th!

This ended a somewhat disappointing season for DD. It is the first season where we have lost 4 matches, but it is also the first season where we play 12 matches! But our team has grown strong again after the untimely death of Lex Liche and the retirement of Mad Max. So beware next season, DD will come back and go for the gold again.

In our 2nd season we took 3rd. In our 4th season we took 2nd, so we believe we will take 1st in our 6th season.

There is another indication of this fact: In 5 seasons we have always progressed to the play-offs but never ended in the same position. By now we have been knocked out in a) the round of 16th, b) the quarterfinal, c) the semi final taking 4th, d) the semi final taking 3rd and e) the final taking 2nd. So to continue this next season, if we progress to the play-offs, we are sure to win the damn thing!

So be there next year to support our fantastic sponsor who keeps the free beers running for our fans!

We hate stunties! :( :/ :(

After 3 encounters with stunty teams we must admit that we have no idea what to do about them. Even with 9 casualties we do not manage to gain the upper hand, or when they only can field 9 to begin with…

We do know what went wrong in this terrible semi-final:
Deadly Doom - Slians Family (season XV, Semi-final).

Our cas came too late, we suffered the same amount of early cas our selves but more KOs, and most importantly the throwing of a fling!

We seemed to have the match in our hand when we received after three not to bad hcps given to the flings: An AG 4 fling, a tree with jump up frenzy and a limit of only one Mummy on the pitch at the time as they both felt they were the greatest.

And with two cas in turn 1 due to a quick snap it looked bright even with all RR’s stolen by the nice ingredients of the fling chef cook.

But then the flings made even more cas (all 3 BH), and only one managed to regenerate. Of course it was mummy Ra and although it seemed great at the time, he was not so great anymore, and Ramses the 5th took his place anyway.

Hence in second half we only had 9 players left as 2 KOs stayed out along with the 2 injured and the proud mummy.

That may not have been so bad, if it had not been for the perfect flying TD made when Mama Slians threw Pablo Slians accurately down pitch in turn 8 of first half to tie the game after Mean Midget had given us the lead early in first half.

Being outnumbered does not suit us, and when we then got hold up in the trees and a few more KO came as well as a MNG to Sinistra Dextre we could only watch in disbelief as the flings without much trouble scored for 1-2 in their last turn.

The four cas we made in the very last turn (rock from the crowd came a little late there) did of course only help the flings opponent next match.

Worst thing was that Ra really thought he were the greatest mummy and forced his way onto the pitch in the first drive. Not only did he get himself injured BH, but also when we fielded Ramses the 5th he showed the way with 3 BH flings in his wake. Ra twice floored two flings in one go, but failed both time to capitalize on that making only one KO.

It was not really that we did not get the help we needed. A quick snap at a time where half of the fling team were within reach and then a pitch invasion that stunned 7 of the flings including a tree, whereas it only left mummy Ramses the 5th stunned. But it was not enough for us against stunties! :(

Surprisingly no fans seemed to leave us, and ironically we just earned enough to hire Count Luthor. But we all know he will not participate in a 3rd place match.

We already have one 3rd place so we are really not that interested in this last match, but we can instead try to improve the team.

Mean Midget had a great game with a TD and his first cas, and is now close to becoming an emerging star.

Enasni the Death Eater got the MVP and a completion and is only a TD and a completion more from his 2nd skill.

Finally, after his fling hatrick, Ramses the 5th has a chance to finish at the top of both the active top killer and top hitter list, if he can make just one kill in the 3rd place match.

So there will be something to play for, so be there to support DD and our sponsors, who will still hand out free beers to the fans.

We meet the Fligngs in the semis :D

That could turn out rather bloody when DD has finished with Slians Family in
Deadly Doom - Slians Family (season XV, Semi-final)

If no flings survive some of the DD fans may even have the leftovers from the chef cooks cooking. ;)

But else be there for the freely running sponsor beer, although this time the opponents blood wil probably flow even faster. :p

Getting even with Zhatan! We hate Chaos Dwarfs, so it was a great pleasure to get back at Zhatan's Disciples last night when we kept them from scoring, made most casualties and the only kill (sadly it was apoed though!)

Both Count Luthor and Thrud played for DD as they ran over the Disciples in the second half of:
Deadly Doom - Zhatan's Disciples (season XV, ¼-final)

Thrud had been hired by the dwarfs, but when Ra knocked him over in the last turn of first half, after Count Luthor had prevented Disciples from scoring, he never made it back to the dwarfs end of the pitch, and in second half he was no more confused than he decided to stay there and fight for the winning team. With both him, Count Luthor, Ra and super star Ramses the 5th the dwarf were no match in strength, which were their only hope.

As Ra had stopped an attack by mino Wroar sending him BH to the box, and Xorn fouled Grongni BH (he did manage to dodge a kill, inflicted by S. Finxter, with the help of the apo, but then he was fouled out), only one ST 4 players were left to face, 6, 6, 5 and 5 on DD.

Hence it was a walk in the park to keep the Count caged until the last turn where he secured our place in the semi finals. Only bad event of the match was a turn 1 foul that broke the collar bone of Thorbjørn so this weak zombie joins strong Mad Max as assisting coach for DD. But the fouler was send off, and this was the beginning of the events that prevented the Disciples from scoring. Alas it took some help after DD took 9 skulls in 13 dices, including a double double skull followed next turn by a skull RR to two arrows and then a single skull, and then a double both down (with block) and a single skull RR into yes: SKULL!

It was DD’s 50th anniversary match, and both Argos and super star Ramses the 5th could also celebrate their 50th match (in a row) for DD. Neither player has missed a match so far.

It is DD’s third time in the semis and their 5th season. As 5 is Necromancer Kynde’s lucky number and third time is lucky time, then it is almost spelled out that DD will be the name on the trophy this year. We are aiming for the gold.

The remaining teams have no trophies of any colour after Silverado Snakeskins was taken out by Blood Bowl Bunnies. Black Widows is a serious contender but they are still a rookie team. And then of course there is a fling team with Slians Family. Well, well we have had bad experiences with stunty teams, but have yet to try a fling team, and they are just not as well armoured or fast as Gobos, and we have plenty of RRs.

So the only real threat now is Blood Bowl Bunnies, and although they did beat us in the group play, we were not playing just to win in that match. Furthermore we cannot meet them until the final, where they will have taken a severe beating from either dwarf s or trees.

DD is ready to take on either of the two teams in the semis, alas it will be without Count Luthor as we have had a miserable season earning wise. And with only 70 k in the box, we cannot afford him in the semis. But with just a little more luck he may be with us in the final.

So fans, be there to see us break our way into the final, and enjoy the free beer from our sponsor:

Removing half a dozen of elves in a walk over match on the way to the gold.

DD came blitzing out with Count Luthor the Vampire in front to grip the ball before the elves knew what hit them, and until the score were 2-0 the elves never even touched the ball.

DD’s mummies and dirty players did touch the elfs though taking out 6 players (one of them twice) in the first match that finished during the Round of 16th:
Deadly Doom - New Forest Rangers (season XV, 1/8-final)

When the ball handling is mentioned Count Luthor was the match winner having possession of the ball at some time during all but 2 turns out of 32. Only when Mean Midget scored the second TD for 2-0 and the next turn were the elfs received did the vamp not touch the ball.

But the match belonged to the mummies and the dirty players!

Ramses the 5th became match winner when he opened 2nd half by making his 32nd cas to become the first Super Star on DD. He thus also earned our MVP and is now a fantastic guard that can assist almost wherever he wishes as long as it is within 3 squares ;-)

But the fame came with a price :/ Ramses is beginning to feel old. Of course he were already thousands of years old (and dead) when Necromancer Kynde dug him out and reanimated him, and he has also fought with Kynde in many hundreds of years before his BB carrier began, but BB takes a harder toll on a mummy than does wars. So here one match before his (and DD’s) 50th match anniversary he is no longer certain he can make it to all DD’s matches. So far he has never missed a match!

The other mummy Ra made two cas, one of them in a block that stunned another player too. Funnily enough :p the injured player, who was saved by the apo to avoid a niggling, got the niggling anyway when Argos fouled him to make his 2nd cas of the match. But it was his first by fouling. Both he and the other DD dirty player Xorn managed to make a real cas before both of them then went on to do what they are used to, that is making a fouling cas. So the 3 players just mentioned all took out 2 elves!

Last happy event was that Enasni the Death Eater carded his 3rd completion to learn block.

But with a double 1 roll for winning/FF only 20 k was earned and no new fans came in. Shame with the fans, but catastrophic with this bad run of winnings. In the last 6 matches less than 30 k has been earned on average, with only a single win over 30 k (60 k) to take the average that high. Even with the highest gates of the season, DD just cannot earn any money. This may result in problems with affording to hire Count Luthor for the semi-final (and final), and we have to admit that with the amazingly many permanent injuries that DD has suffered this year, we need the vamp to have a complete team!

DD is by now the only team to have suffered less than 10 injuries (9) during this season. And only one team has inflicted more cas than we, and that team is out now (Zola^BB with 42 vs. our 38). So we may just end up taking the most violent team price, as well as being the team who suffers the least cas. But even with only 9 cas against we have had 3 kills, two permanent, amongst other on our best ball handler Lex Liche, and also 2 niggling and a MNG, leaving only 3 of the 9 injuries as BH. Only one kill were regenerated, the MNG/niggling hit the Ghouls. With also 3 ageings amongst other two niggling on our two best players, Ramses the 5th just now, and Mad Max who had to retire when he got one of the niggling, DD has almost suffered more than the other 9 teams combined even though they share the 38 cas.

This bad statistic has made it harder but certainly not impossible for DD to take the gold. And that is why we are here: To take the gold!

So FANS, be there next Tuesday to see the poor team that draws DD, bite the dust, while you drink the free beer from our sponsor:

Destroying Zola^BB to take a much needed victory.

After the win drought over the last three matches it meant a lot to Necromancer Kynde to beat the living s**t out of the ugly orces from Zola in:
Deadly Doom - Zola^BB (season XV, cross-over)
The win was not necessary to go to the play-off, but now the confidence level will be much higher and that can be very important in that type of matches!

It felt really good to injury players worth 23 ST point (in only 5 cas) leaving 4 in the box, 3 of those (13 ST point) will miss next match and one of these has been retired.

Not that we are to happy about the 5 cas hitting DD though, Especially sorry are we that Mad Max suffered his first injury and with him already feeling old and prone to suffer from viruses, he has now been forced into an early retirement as assistant coach on DD. He will be missed, after playing 23 matches without getting injured only missing one match due to sickness.

With 5 cas the cas score against us more than doubles to a total of 9, but we are still by far the team with the highest cas difference this season with 31-9 = +22
But even with this margin of injuries we have suffered 2 kills and 2 nigglings, and has only given out 3 kills and 3 nigglings in more than 3 times as many cas. It is hard to be without an apotech. Especially for the Ghouls!

As Sinistra Dextre also has to miss the next match due to a fouling bastard, we only have two Ghouls, and one Wight left to move the ball. But Mean Midget is good at that, and the two other S. Finxter and Enasni the Death Eater played well last night, and the latter scored his first TD.

On top of this we will be reinforced by a very good ball handler as Count Luthor the Vampire, old friend of Necromancer Kynde, will join us once again. We hope to have him with us all along to the final, but we are not earning much lately, and cannot be sure to have him in both the semi final and the final. But with a little luck he might just be there to win the cup for us.

But DD is much more than plain ball handling! AV 9 is no problem for our mummies as first Ra showed by taking out a BOB, and then in second half within 3 turns Ramses the 5th went berserk and took out two ST 5 players, first super strong Zepelin and then troll Dumbwhaat.

The troll has not been a good player for Zola although he did receive the MVP. In the first half he twice tried to take out Squiil: a Zombie and "Dead" Mortis both times he went down on double skulls and the second time Squiil: a Zombie SI him (Learning block in the process). The troll regenerated, but in second half he just stood there the first 3 turns, and then he got separated from his team-mates and stood there once more, before he was SI again and this time he failed to regenerate and must miss the next match!

The last casualty for DD was actually the first, as DD's top fouler Argos once again made a SI, this time he niggled Gestapio who has now also been retired like our niggled Ghoul.

The last Ghoul on our team Mean Midget was “only” BH and for that he earned the MVP of the match, so he is really increasing his spp at an enormous rate after 18 matches with 0 spp.

After our previous bad experience with Zola^BB it was a pleasure to injure them that much and winning a comfortable win. We are now ready to face any opponent in the Round of 16th next week.

So to our, again increasing, fan base, be there as we progress toward our first CUP. Cause both blood and free beer will be flowing in plenty amounts. The blood will be delivered by our opponents, the beer is a gift from our sponsor to you!

We are now safe in the play-off! :)

With their victory over Killer Mutants, Zola^BB has unintentionally removed the last shred of doubt. DD is now 100% sure to more to the play-off disregarding the result in the cross over round.

Last season DD was the nemesis of Zola^BB, who with a tie to DD just missed out on the play-off. This season the Orcs once again helped DD in to the play-off, as the worst that can happen to DD now, is best 5th place.

With the bad form of DD in the last 3 matches it is a relived Necromancer Kynde, who returns from abroad to see his team safe in the play-off, Now we can relax in the cross over match, and we will not like last season spend our money on freebooters before the play-off.

It is nice to be back to the position where we are safe in the play-off before last match. Last season was the first time we needed point in the last match to move on! And so far it is the only!

With their victory Zola^BB has moved to second place in group B, and could in principle be our opponent for the cross over. But only if Shadows of Sorcery takes point from MoonKnight Shadows. If MoonKnight Shadows wins this last group B match, then they will be our opponent in the cross over round.

We hope for MoonKnight Shadows as we hate the orcs infinitely more than we hate our fellow undeads.

But don't miss out on the match even though the result is not important for our chances to move on. We still need to win to get our confidence back before the really important matches. So it may be really bloody, and you do not want to miss that, or the free sponsor beer from our sponsor:

We hate gobos, we hate Bad Moon Backstabbers and we certainly hate Casper(s dices).

DD has lost their nerve, and so has Necromancer Kynde. With today’s defeat:
Bad Moon Backstabbers - Deadly Doom (season XV, round 7)
DD has lost to 9 gobos, and last round it was only a tie against 10 rats.

A seriously shaken Necromancer has announced that he will take a trip to Sutton outside London and try to recuperate before the important cross over round in which DD will meat number 2 from group B.

What should have been an easy victory and a certain place in the play-off turned into a nightmare, and there now is a small risk that DD could end up in 5th place in group A and loose out to the 5th place in group B. It is not very likely, and DD can just take point in the last match to make sure they will move on, but seeing the bad result of the last three matches, it may become a rather nervous match.

Although it is sure that DD takes second place in group A after round 7, there is still some fighting left in group B and the only thing that is sure in group B is that Zhatan's Disciples will win.

The most likely opponent will be MoonKnight Shadows, but also Zola^BB and Shadows of Sorcery has serious chances to take the runner up place. Hopefully DD will wake up of their death slumber and take the game serious again, and thus get their chance of taking gold.

But today was a very embarrassing day for DD. First of all the mummies managed to do absolutely nothing with the gobos, and two of the four cas came from fouling. And both foul cas were not permanent as Geiler Lömmel was apoed and Brickskull (N)everdodge regenerated. We did make 5 fouls without getting thrown off, but apart from the two cas only one KO was among the other 3 and once even AV was not broken!

The two AG 4 gobos (one from hcp) was impossible to control, and when no players were send off from pitch, then 9 gobos was enough. And the few KOs made came right back in due to some smelling salts.

Furthermore a virus took out Mad Max. After 22 straight appearances for DD he feels sick against the nemesis of DD. Bad Ghoul :/

With only 3 ball handlers left it was difficult when the ball was first dropped, and it was also hard to stop the gobos attack in 2nd half. Hence we were down 0-2 early 2nd half. And only with luck and some were nice passing play by newest ghoul Enasni the Death Eater (2 completions) did S. Finxter manage to prevent DD from loosing without scoring a TD. So 1-2 were the final score.

Only positive event other than that was that "Dead" Mortis regenerated when he was almost killed by Scar Fishgutter. It is the first time a kill has been regenerated by any other player than a mummy. Twice a mummy has healed himself, amongst other still active Ramses the 5th. But no zombie, skeleton or wight has ever regenerated from a kill (in 7 tries).

It was the skeleton Argos and a zombie Wolf who had to make the real casualties that at least kept the fans with DD. Wolf even received the MVP from this and has now added tackle to his blocking repertoire. Sadly he fell somewhat older now, and has to use less armour to keep his “speed”. But he will be ready every match, a lesson Mad Max should learn!

Oh one other positive thing! We had a new season record breaking gate of 128 k and thus we finally earned a little money (60 k) and we are now 100% sure to be able to hire Count Luthor for at least two matches. Hopefully we will earn enough for him for the semis and final too.

But first we have to get to the play-off so don’t miss the exciting X match so be there so support DD and our sponsor who will hand out free beer to the fan club members to get the cheering going.

“Nooooo! Lex Liche died at the hands of a gutter runner. That cannot have happened” yelled an enraged Necromancer Kynde, when he realized that the runner had messed up Lex to much for him to regenerate.

He was one of the best players on DD!

Right before he died Sinistra Dextre managed to trip over his own feet injuring himself to a niggling.

That was only the beginning of a horrible first half of the match:
Deadly Doom - Blight Lurkers (season XV, round 5)
Before the end of that half 5 players had been removed bad enough not to take the pitch again. (Apart from the two injuries there were also two KOs that completely failed to wake up and a throw out). And only 3 DD players were on pitch when the rats took the match to 0-1.

Incredible that we came back to take a tie, but it helped a lot when Benno Brausekopf II made the only real cas at the start of second half, and Xorn followed up by killing "Mortis" Deadbite in a foul. The resulting zombie, “Dead” Mortis, then took the pitch against his former team-mates much to their consternation in the next drive, taking DD up to 10 players against 8.

The scandal of the match (apart from the injuries) was that Ra missed the match because he got himself detained before the match, due to some bar brawl right before the match. We had expected him to be hard to the small rats!

With 4 out of 6 AG 3+ and 2 out of 3 ST 4+ players out Enasni the Death Eater and Mean Midget had to handle the ball, while Ramses the 5th took care of the rats along with 6 zombies and a skelly. Argos had gotten him self send off once again, this time in turn 1 for only a stun. A bad way to celebrate his 10th send off!

It turned out that it was Mean Midget’s turn to show what he is worth. Two TD to take it first to 1-1 and then to 2-2, gave him the MVP and has made him a veteran over night. 3 matches ago he was unknown having made absolutely zip for DD, and then bam, one TD, slam a 2nd TD to get block, and Grand slam, 2 TD and an MVP in the same match to learn Sure Hands. He is now trying to emulate his idol Mad Max who were in the KO box most of this match. Also Kynde is happy to have a backup blodge sure hands ghoul if Mad Max once again stays off pitch for some reason.

A last god thing to come from this ugly match was that Erik made the first completion by a skelly on DD, and thus he learned to guard. He is hence also the first lino to learn anything out of the ordinary. Maybe he will get some more pitch time from now on?

Of course the fans loathed to see DD in such dire straits and some of them left, but not to go with the silly rat team.

Now DD will have to regroup and consider what to do with the empty spot left by Lex Liche. A new Wight is a bad replacement for Lex. So maybe the money will be saved to hire Count Luthor in the play-off. But the money runs short, as we have earned zip this time and also only 60 k over the last two matches.

But in our next match against our hated enemies from Bad Moon Backstabbers we expect to have a record breaking gate, and when we win this time after breaking the gobos, we will not only take a big win, we will also collect the 100k bounty put on the head of Fas Firmfoot. In that way money will no longer be a problem.

So be there when Ra shows up again and makes the bad moaners into gobo mush. Our sponsor will serve the cold beers to go with the green pudding.

So support DD and our sponsor:

Killing bunnies but loosing anyway! What just happened there? The bunnies’ fast moving train drove past DD without giving them a chance to mount them :p

In tonight’s game:
Blood Bowl Bunnies - Deadly Doom (season XV, round 6),
nothing worked for DD who could do absolutely nothing against a bunny team who refused to roll 1, and also refused to fail dodges through several TZ.

Against that DD could do nothing, but it was their own fault in the first place. In the first half they felt to confident after Ra had killed Eva Luér. But that gave no zombie, although the apo took his time to come out.
DD should have paused there, and not tried to win big, by scoring fast. The bunnies would not have tried to prevent a turn 8 TD, but now with a turn 4 TD, the bunnies easily scored for 1-1 and DD could just not score in 3 turns against the fast bunnies defence.

And in second half everything went wrong. Twice did Mad Max fail to pick up, once did Enasni the Death Eater fail to catch the ball even with help from the practice and finally Lex Liche failed to strip the ball from Karen Tæhne who had caught the bunnies own kick-off! He had a double both down after using the RR on a go for it!

It was a shaken Necromancer Kynde who commented after the game: “We will never again underestimate and elf team. But now we have to try to focus on all the positive things we can still take with us from the match.”

And there are actually a few. First of all DD once again came through a match without receiving a single injury. In five matches only 1 cas has been caused by the opponents. That it was a permanent kill is just typical, but DD is now 3-1 in kill (2-1 permanent) and 19-1 in casualties after just 5 matches.

Also Ra got a great match with two cas (1 kill) and he is now the fourth active star on DD. And he does not feel older at all; on the contrary he now feels he can take on more than one opponent at a time! Poor skaven line rats who will face him next match.
To bad for Blight Lurkers that they failed to meet DD sooner. They were supposed to be DD’s 5th opponent, but where not ready, and DD played their round 6 match first. And now DD is even more pissed off than ever ready to cause as much pain an mayhem as possible, and that could be a lot against a skaven team when some mad mummies are on the loose!

Another great achievement came from Mean Midget who spend 18 matches on DD without earning a single SPP, but then in his two last matches he score one TD in each, thus he celebrates his 20th anniversary match on DD by learning to block better.

Of course we must also remember our MVP of the match Lex Liche who caught he pass from Mad Max when he finally had something succeeding for him, and thus Lex Liche could reduce the score. So although 5 TD is the most TDs ever scored against DD, it was at least not the biggest defeat!

Our fans did not seem to mind the loss though, they were just happy with all the killing and mayhem, and of course with the free beer.

Next match we will win, that is a promise, as it is a promises that we will serve free sponsor beer, so be there and support our sponsor:

Who is Hanzz? He is a dead Vermin! We had promised Headz'n'Tailzz BBC that if they fielded the killer of Zed against us, he would leave the field in a body bag (or a doggy bag maybe? Stewed rat should be delicious :p).

And our star mummy “The Wall” Ramses the 5th effectuated the kill, already in the beginning of the match. Sadly Hanzz’ corpse will not play for us as the other players Ramses the 5th has killed has done peviously. That is because Argos had already just killed Squiil'A in a foul, and while Necromancer Kynde were busy raising him on to the team as Squiil: a Zombie he had no energy for also raising Hanzz.

In the end Argos was forgiven for that fault ;), as he in the dying second of the match:
Headz'n'Tailzz - Deadly Doom (season XV, round 4)
KOed the dammed one tuner Zpeedy Gonzales'dangudiz' preventing the rats from tying in the last seconds, thus giving DD a well deserved 3-2 victory.

This is the first time ever that DD has won a match in which the opponent manages to score 2 TDs.
So far DD has only won when the opponent scored one or zero TDs.
DD has scored 3 TDs several times and 4 once, but those times the opponent only scored 1 or nil.
Also DD has only lost two matches in which they have scored 2 TDs. Both of these play-off matches were tied 2-2, and had to be decided in overtime.
But it is nice to finally break the bad omen of always loosing to a team that scores a second TD. Anyway both the TDs were only one-turners, and those do not really count :D

The reason we suddenly made three TD was that Mean Midget decided to finally do something for the team. He scored the second TD, and that was his first TD for DD in 19 matches. Maybe he will finally learn something, when he has played his 20th match?

And hence for the first time it was possible to talk about the two M&Ms working together as strong top Ghoul Mad Max made the two other TDs, one before and one after Mean Midget’s first, taking him to a total of 13 TD in his only 20th match! This made him a true BB star and he has now also Sure feet to go with his sure hands. Sadly Mad Max has informed Kynde that he feels a little old, and he might just miss a match now and again from now on, after having played without an injury for 20 straight games! ;/

The MVP of course went to Squiil: a Zombie as he dared get up on the LOS to face his former team mates much to their consternation :D Funnily enough the other MVP also went to Squiil'A only he received it post hum! :p

No less than 5 casualties was inflicted in the first half, and after that there were so few rats to hit on, that only a few more KOs were inflicted. The last casualty was inflicted by our happy fans who kicked Tearr A'Parte in the groin when Wolf pushed the Rat Ogre into the stands. His private parts will not allow him to join the Headz next match :D

DD now has a stunning 15-1 cas record in only 4 matches, (2-1 in kills – all 3 dead). And a 9-3 TD score as well. On top of that they are of course heading Group A with maximum point. That is at least 2 points more than any other A-team ;) will have after the end of round 4. Only one other team in the league will stand a chance to match DD’s 8 point out of 8, and that is the hated Zhatan's Disciples. But to our great joy we have seen that Keltharos Jr. was close to becoming another zombie on MoonKnight Shadows if they just had any room for him :D Now he is just dead, and it will be difficult for them to beat Zola^BB!

This was DD’s 30th win giving them more than 68% wins. More importantly for DD their loss rate has now with 4 straight wins been reduced to only one in four.
This is the first season where DD wins their first 4 matches. Usually they have had a bad match in the 2nd-4th match, but this season they may just go for 12 straight win to get that most wanted cup: The Aros BBL CUP!

In the league the casualties that are not giving any players SPP and the SPP that are earned by freebooters (stars) are also counted. These are all assigned to an imaginary player zero on the team. Following the link you will find that after this round all random events and fouling casualties as well as SPP earned by Count Luthor totals no less than 145 spp. 54 cas has been made in this way (only 4 kills), and 10 TDs 2 completions and 2 MVPs has been given to Count Luthor. Argos has the main part of the casualties on his conscience with 22 fouling casualties (3 of the kills). This makes DD by far the most violent team when it comes to random events etc.

The fans of course loved today’s match and more are joining DD’s “fan and beer lovers club” almost every round. We are thus still the most popular team in Aros, only rivalled by our nemesis “The Champs” Bad Moon Backstabbers who is only more popular because of “our” Trophy. But we will soon get a chance to show them what we failed to do last season .This is the season of revenge of DD. And when the season ends we will take what is rightfully ours, and place it on Necromancer Kynde’s trophy shelf. Be sure of that!

Headz'n'Tailzz BBC was the “dangerous” Skaven team in the group, but next week we will meet the less dangerous Skaven team Blight Lurkers. That is bound to be bloody. So, FANS, be there for the freely running sponsor beer/vermin blood!

Player statistics for DD

After DD's 43rd match (round 3, XV) these were the stats for the players. Listed in the order they joined the team.

Active players on DD - Matches played/matches possible/injuries - First round

Argos - 43/43/5 - 1, XI (original team)
Lex Liche - 43/43/4 - 1, XI (original team)
Ramses the 5th - 43/43/3 - 1, XI (original team)
Benno Brausekopf II - 41/42/8 - 2, XI (Raised) (MNG once)
Ra - 34/34/1 - 1, XII
Xorn - 32/32/7 - 3, XII
Wolf - 22/22/3 - 2, XIII
S. Finxter - 20/20/5 - 4, XIII
Mad Max - 19/19/0 - 5, XIII
Mean Midget - 18/18/1 - 6, XIII
Erik - 13/13/0 - 1, XIV
Sinistra Dextre - 12/13/1 - 1, XIV (MNG once)
Thorbjørn - 2/2/0 - 2, XV
Enasni the Death Eater - 1/1/0 - 3, XV

3 remain from the original team.
1 more from the first season (XI)
2 from season XII
4 from season XIII
2 from season XIV and (already)
2 from season XV
14 in total

Only two of those 14 have ever missed a match, and only once each on a MNG. Hence 12 players have never missed a match, including the 3 remaining players from the original team, and the two from season XII and all four from XIII.
As none of these active players have aged in 26 skill rolls (2 stars, 3 emerging stars and 4 veterans) this also means that there are no permanent injuries on any of the active DD players.

One of the two to miss a game is the oldest zombie Benno Brausekopf II who where raised onto the team in the second match, He has suffered the most casualties on DD (8) but nevertheless he has only missed one match and has hence by now broken the 40 match barrier for DD as have the three original players.

Top 5 most injured players on DD:
8: Benno Brausekopf II
7: Xorn
5: Argos
5: S. Finxter
4: Lex Liche

Two other players have broken the 30 match barrier including ST 6 mummy Ra.

Within the next 3 matches 3 players will break the 20 match limit. So it is a well seasoned team, but there are still 4 rookies among the 14. Especially embarrassing is it for Mean Midget who is one of the three players closing in on his 20th match. He still hasn't made his first SPP!

But maybe it will soon be his chance to show his worth. Don't miss it but come to support DD and their sponsor:

Sep. 21st, 2005
Finally we got the better of Death Extravagante in regular time. It was about time. And this time we finally paid them back a little for the brutal killing of Rigor Mortis in our first match, when Ra made his first cas of the season by niggling Davian Darkseer giving him a pinched nerve.

Necromancer Kynde was very pleased with today’s match:
Death Extravagante - Deadly Doom (season XV, round 3)
We finally showed those elves the way of pitch, and after having won only in overtime, and tied on the last two occasions (The tie was DD’s first after 27 matches) it felt good to deny the elfs any TD AND also this time they made zero cas. DD’s second 2-0 victory this season, third victory where DD made 2 TDs.

This match, however, the ref wanted to set an example and no less than 4 players (the first was from DE and his coach had to go along with him :D) were send off pitch today. And our fans did not even kill him. We are very disappointed ;)

Nevertheless Xorn and Argos each took some of the best players on DE along with them as they were send off, and when Thorbjørn also had to leave the pitch is was for making a late stun to ensure the second TD also could be made by Lex Liche.

Lex Liche was the hero of the day scoring both TDs, one at the end of each half, and he was very well deserved elected MVP of the match. He has now become the only 3rd star player to emerge from DD, and for the first time DD has two stars on the team at the same time. Lex is now also an expert in stripping the ball from the opponent.

The fans of course loved the match. Although only 3 cas were made the KO box were quickly filled on the elf team, and second half was played against 6 elfs who soon became only 3 before the match finished. DE only managed to inflict 2 KO meaning that the ref took out more of DD’s players than the opponent!

We are now clearly the most popular team in the league, and we can promises the fans that Necromancer Kynde’s old friend Count Luthor should be available for the play-offs as DD already begins saving up for this now.

And next weeks match will be even bloodier as we prepare for revenge against the skavens from Headz'n'Tailzz BBC. AV 7 and AG 3 should be all we need to get the mummies going in their hunt to become the most brutal mummy on DD this season.

So be there next time for the free sponsor beer and the freely running vermin blood.

The ref was gone and Argos removed humans from the pitch once each turn.

Or so it seemed during the first half of DD’s second encounter with humans:
Deadly Doom - Alzheim Overlords (season XV, round 2).

Over 50.000 DD fans had decided (or maybe the sponsor beer had decided for them) that the ref had been bought. So there were no ref to spot Argos making two more fouling cas (in turn 1 and 2) to go with the two he already made in round 1. Along with this he also took 4 out into the KO box including Ogre Rex. Amazingly enough this was not enough for the fans that killed the new ref at the end of the half, and the 3rd ref before the second drive of second half.

This of course made it easy for DD to get it to 1-0 in their own receiving. But the KOs came back in and we had to fight hard. An error by Ramses the 5th left a hole big enough for the humans to take down Lex Liche but he recovered, gripped the ball once more and went for it over the EZ for one more win for DD. This now takes DD up to a 2/3 winning rate..

The happy story today is that two of our players have become veterans learning new skills: S. Finxter has added tackle to his guard and Sinistra Dextre is now also a side stepper to go with blodge.

S. Finxter made the first TD, and we believe it is the first time that a game has been won with two TDs scored by the Wights.

Sad news of today was that Eldahmar "Broken" Chain died once more and since we have lost his head there is nothing Necromancer Kynde can do to revive him. Now Benno Brausekopf II is again the only reanimated zombie on DD. No DD skeleton or zombie has ever managed to regenreate a kill, now in six tries!

On a happier note we earned enough to once more field a fourth Ghoul in the next match. A new insane Ghoul Enasni the Death Eater will join the team in time for round 3. Hopefully he will be more like Mad Max than like Mean Midget!

Our top Ghoul Mad Max did, however, disappoint us today as he sat on the toilet through most of the match, and would not take the field along with Ramses the 5th. Something about having seen enough toilet paper already. :D

We have also noted that since our pusnishment of Gruesome Grinders the bounty has increased form 20 to 30 k on both Argos and on Ramses the 5th, and Mad Max now also sports a bounty of 20k. They really has a grudge on us after that match :D

Our fans loved the game, and the beer, but sadly no new fans came into the club, maybe because the mummies disappointed making no casualties at all. Nevertheless Ra became chosen as MVP, so now he better has to live up to this against the horrible elfs from Death Extravagante. We sincerely hope to crush some ST 4 bitches in this our next match.

So be there for the free sponsor beer that will flow as fast down your throat as the red elfish blood will flow on the pitch.

A new team description has been added for Deadly Doom (above) as well as a group photo of the entire team (At the bottom of this page).

The photo has Necromancer Kynde standing in front of his proud team with his old friend vampire Count Luthor at his right.

Also players that are at the moment under training hoping to join the team later have been included.

The team has good reason to be proud. When they win the next match against the puny humans from Alzheim Overlords they will have exactly 2/3 wins over 42 matches. And in 3 matches’ time, they will have reduced the loss rate to 1/4.

As a gesture for their great performances Kynde has updated/revised all the players’ profiles after the first round of this season.

So know you can sit back with a good Akse beer and read all about your BB idols, as mummies Ramses the 5th and Ra with 27 and 20 cas respectively, as well as super strong Ghoul Mad Max with his 11 TDs or the agile top Wight Lex Liche who masters every aspect of the game. Of course some perverts are even big fans of the dirtiest player around Argos who has 20 casualties with his name on, only 2 of which has been honoured with star player points.

The team spirit and practise level is as high as ever, so don't miss the coming champions’ matches this season.

And we know you won’t, because as usual DD is the most popular team in Aros with the largest fan base.

Maybe it is because of our sponsor? We do not know, but remember to get your free fan beer at every game and support:

Finally in group A: Great draw for DD this season.

After last seasons grinder group B it is nice to have switched to Group A this time. It is the first time DD has been in Group A working us up from group C through B.
And when we were in Group C we finished 3rd and from group B we got second place. So finally we have it going our way. Being in group A the Championship will have DD written all over it throughout this season. It is also DD’s 5th season and 5 is Necromancer Kynde’s lucky number!

9 of the 14 teams that were in the upper brackets last season are still among the 16 team that are there now. 7 of these are in the same group (A/B) as last season. Only DD and Chaos49 has changed places.

Group B still has the 5 of the 10 most lethal teams in Aros at the moment and two former champs are also included. Chaos Dwarf, Orc, the Dwarf Champs and the mighty feared Chaos Champs Halfdead Clawkillers who has been most lethal team (we don’t know why here on DD?) and the Necro outsider’s MoonKnight Shadows who has also been most lethal.
Left are a Skaven (AV 7, AG 3), a Nurgle (no apo) and a Vampire (AV 7, AG 3 and Blood Lust). Our guess is there won’t be much left of those 3 teams when the season is over, but we hope they can surprise us and inflict some pain on those much hated teams.

DD is not surprisingly pleased to look at the opponents in their Group A.
2 Skaven (AV7 , AG 3) (But one of those were once most lethal, but Bone Chewie has been long retired)
1 Elf (AV 7)
1 Dark Elf (Lots of niggling and we hate their guts)
1 Human (Well there are AV 7 and only AG 3…)
and and and
The Gobo Champs that we hate the most. But this time AV 7 and stunty must help us!

We so much look forward to tackle Bad Moon Backstabbers once again to rid our self of the horrible defeat in last seasons finally. This time we shall see to that the inflicted pain on Fas Firmfoot (who we killed. apoed) and Brickskull (N)everdodge (whose collar bone we smashed - regenerated) becomes permanent!

The last team in our Group is the only one that should be difficult to make many cas on, but we have already grinded Gruesome Grinders into the ground, so the other “easy to make pulp of“ teams can just wait their turn. DD will send them all back to the lower brackets of season XVI.

And our fans are welcome to join in for all DD’s matches if they love to watch blood running (and that will definitely only run from the opponents). And remember that the beer will be flowing too as our sponsor hands out free beer for all our supporters at every match.

So be there and support DD and our sponsor

DD made it 3 in a row against those puny orcses from Gruesome Grinders.

In the season opener:
Gruesome Grinders - Deadly Doom (season XV, round 1)
DD took their third clear victory against the intimidated orcs.

In three encounters with GG, DD has a 7-0 TD lead and a 9-1 (1-0) cas lead. However, as usually DD still hasn’t inflicted anything permanent worse than a MNG, but GG has to do without a lino and a BOB next match.

In yesterdays game we simply ripped the Orcs up. 5 cas and 8 KO did we get. Mighty well helped by our dirty players Argos and Xorn. They made 2 and 1 cas respectively and both included a BH on the troll Fleischhammer. Xorn could take it a little easier than Argos who were thrown out at the end of first half. For that DD’s fans had a last discussion with the ref (his last!), so he was not their to witness when Xorn took out the troll.

Especially Argos though had the honour of taking the troll out right after the apo had saved him from a fractured arm delivered by a very mad Ramses the 5th.

It was only his second cas in 4 turns as he also had taken out the poor BOB. Argos was also inspired in that case, but he had to take care of a lino instead, as the apo did not save the BOB.

Sinistra Dextre and S. Finxter made our TDs one in each half and are now coming very close to becoming veteran player on DD.

The first TD came after a quick pass by Lex Liche. This was his first completion and it meant that he now has accomplished the full spp tour. He has also one interception and then 4 each of TDs, cas and MVPs. Marvellous player and close to becoming the 2nd star on DD.

Eldahmar "Broken" Chain rightfully earned the MVP as he took down the troll in 2nd half in order for Xorn to foul him BH. And after 3 casualties even the troll had enough and choose no to regenerate this time!

So that was a great opening match for DD.

Of course DD’s fans loved the match (50 k of the 85 k were cheering from DD and the official fans of course received their free Akse beer!) So there will be even more fans next time.

With the money from the gate spend on extra practise the team will meet up even better prepared to tackle our next opponent.

So be there to see some more blood for round 2, and get a free beer from our sponsor.

Yes, death to the Goblins as Stone Curve said it.

For the first time in Necromancer Kyndes existence, has he agreed with a dwarf...

Stone Curve's comment about the mean green Bad Moon Backstabbers and how the BB pitch should be painted green with their blood, (well more green), is just what we wish to hear.

And if all you other teams will do the same as the dwarfs and DD this season, then DD will surely prevail this time.

First we took 3rd, then 2nd... so yes you've guessed it, this season DD finally takes the GOLD :D

So be there three weeks from now as the season opens and DD's mummies will open up some skulls (preferably Gobo skulls).

And our sponsor will be ready with yet another free beer for our fans. So support them by drinking:

Over the last four seasons DD has made them self noticed by telling the most about their matches both in detailed match reports (for all 40 matches) and in a throughout discussion of their matches on this bulletin board.

The team has without a doubt the posting record and below some statistics have been outlined as to how much DD has posted over the last 2 years (May 21st 2003 till May 8th 2005 ie. 4 seasons and 40 matches) before this post of course...

Bulleting Posting record for DD
Over 4 seasons and 40 matches DD has posted

A total of 66 posts (16.5/season or 1.65/match)

Resulting in slightly more than 60 word pages (Close to one each post)

29442 words (7360/season or 736/match or 446/post)
122224 charactes (no spaces) (30556/season or 3055/match or 1851/post)
151302 charactes (with spaces) (37825/season or 3782/match or 2292/post)
1006 paragraphs
2879 lines

As comparison we have taken Blood Bowl Bunnies which we belive are the only team to come anywhere close on the top posting list:

Over 3 seasons and 25 matches (February 15th 2004 till May 16th 2005) the coach has posted

A total of 61 posts (20.3/season or 2.44/match)

Resulting in almost 29 word pages (Close to a half page for each post)

11539 words (3846/season or 461/match or 189/post)
53536 charactes (no spaces)
65037 charactes (with spaces)
470 paragraphs
1368 lines

So in one season and 15 matches less BB has almost caught up with DD in post count only lacking 5 post. With 20 post a season compared to DD's "only" 16.5.
And 2.44 post/season compared to DD's only 1.65.

However DD's post is by far the most elaborate with more than twice the amount of words per post with 446 vs only 189.

DD has posted 60 pages (word document) compared to only 29 for BB.

So where BB post many but short post, DD post some much longer post and has posted almost as many each season (and with a season extra just they are still slihtly ahead on total post count). No one else comes even close to DD's record in Aros bulletin posting! ;)

And DD fans - you do not have to despair anymore, as it is now possible to read all DD's old team bulletins all the way back to the very first... :D

So sit back enjoy a Akse beer and read through all 60 pages of pure nostalgy for the true DD fan, who of course supports our sponsor:
Akse, DamneD beer.

PS Did you notice last season? The only team that did not loose to the Champs (Bad Moon Backstabbers) was severly beaten by DD in the quaterfinal, and that was of course the second top poster team: Blood Bowl Bunnies :p

PPS Also note that just as BB did manage to tie the champs so did we in regular time. BB did then not have to take the game into overtime, a time in which no one has yet managed to beat the champs! :/

Unbelivable! That was the only comment we got from the devastaded Necromancer Kynde right after the incredible victory by Bad Moon Backstabbers over DD in season XIV's grand final:

Bad Moon Backstabbers - Deadly Doom (season XIV, Final)

Kynde had expected to celebrate his 30th hundred birthday two days after the final, by drinking to long death from the Aros cup. But Nuffle wished difrently. And what can any undead Necromancer do then?

Even a Vampire Lord cannot fight against luck, when the "long" bombs keeps falling around his ears, or when a Gobo with a single assist (and guided by the help from bombs) take down such players as Count Luthor with ease...

And although we are very populare with the fans (gate record of 200 k beating the previous record/last seasons final with 25/26 k) they did not help us during a pitch invasion that saw 5 DD players stunned and left alle the small gobos standing!

It was not because nothing worked for DD, or nothing went wrong for the gobos, but in the key moments the Gobos managed to roll 4, 5 and even 6s when that was needed, wereas DD managed to roll 1 when a mere 2 were needed.

MVP of the match was of course Benno Brausekopf II who in 2nd drive singlehanded took out the bomber, and by kicking him off the pitch he has now improved his kicking abilities, and will be the teams designated kicker next season. He is now the DD player with most MVPs one for each of his 5 casualties!

Also the mummies took care of their share with Ramses the 5th SI'ing two gobos and Ra who BH the lesser troll so he failed to regnerate. In this way both mummies ended up with 6 cas each of the season, but we have to let the price for best mummy of the season go - once again - to Ra for taking out a troll in last match rather than only 2 gobos!

Best of the day were actually Argos who fouled his way to a total of three (3!) casualties. First he killed Fas Firmfoot but the apotech saved both his life and the commish from having to put up with the 100 k bounty. And then he proceded with breaking the collar bone on first a gobo and then on Star Troll Brickskull (N)everdodge, but sadly the troll managed to regenerate. Had these two super stars just stayed off pitch, the victory would surely have been DDs.

Although Count Luthor had a tough time, he still managed to score the two TDs that forced the match in to overtime. But he was under such stress to do so that he weared down DD's team spirit.

In the overtime it hence became apparent that DD would have little hope winning a direct penealty shootout, and henne Count Luthor fought hard to get a chance to win it 4-3 in overtime. That became the final ruin for DD, as he once again had trouble, first falling over his own legs and later failing to pick up the ball. But with all the bombs it is no wonder the vampire had problems with his nerves...

Still we have improved from our 3rd place in season XII and there is promiss that we can do even better next season. So we will continue to fight for the championship.

And our team is as popular as ever, only the champs themselves can claim to be more loved by the fans. So to all you DD fans out there: You can rest in peace (well probably not?) knowing the fact that DD will return next season more determined than ever to go for the gold, now they have been so close.

So don't forget DD during the off-season period, and don't forget our sponsor. Keep suporting them especially after their economy has been a little strained as they handed out 98.000 bottles of beers at the finale:

We are in the final. And our opponent will only be a bunch of puny Goblins from a team that calls themselves Bad Moon Backstabbers.

Could we BE anymore lucky. The 1st price is already ours. What we cannot understand is why the other teams in the league allows Goblins to step all over them. :p

Hey it is the gobos that are stunty and have St 2 and AV 7. Why is it possible they are the most leathal teams this season and the only undefeated so far. Well we will show them all that there must have been a mistake next week when we will crush those BAD stabers! :D

Today we once again crushed a she elf team in the semifinal: PureBred Inquisitors - Deadly Doom (season XIV, semi-final). 6 casualties against 1 and they only made the one using dirty fouling!

Ra celebrated his 30th match for DD by making two casualties and although Ramses the 5th made a last turn cas too, Ra is now one ahead in casualties before the final. However, with about 12 gobos to hit on, there is no way of telling who will win the mummy casualty contest on DD this season.
At the moment it is 5-4 (1-1) to Ra.

Also Count Luthor made a casualty and when he scored the first TD, he did so by pushing a poor she elf into a crowd cas, and then followed up for the TD. Grand match for him, as he also handed the ball to Sinistra Dextre in the last turn of the match so the ghoul could scored the winning TD for 2-1.

Hence we are extremely pleased that Count Luthor has agreed to join the team in the grand finally, to smash up some Gobos. He is a great asset for our team and a great friend of Necromancer Kynde.

Our infamous zombie Uffe was the one the she elfs fouled, and he became so injured that we have decided to retire him as assistant coach. He can teach the other players what it is like to have a bounty placed on your head. Some of them are bound to get that after we win the season! So far Argos already knows all about it, but he has managed himself so far.

Actually he will be able to celebrate his 40th match for DD in the final, along with the other two DD players who have been with the team since the start: Lex Liche and Ramses the 5th. All three players can brag that they have been ready for all DDs FORTY matches so far, and what a celebration it will be to win the sesaon in the teams 40th match! :D

So be there to celebrate our 40th aniversary as well as our season victory when we crush the seasons "most leathal" team ?:D? next tuesday.

Although this match may very well break the league gate record there will of course still be free beers for all DDs fans from our very proud sponsor:

In the semifinals! We go all the way this season! :D

Seven (7!) casualties marks the new record for DD as they completely anihilated Blood Bowl Bunnies in todays quaterfinal:
Blood Bowl Bunnies - Deadly Doom (season XIV, ¼-final)

However, only two of those were made by the mummie Ra, including the kill on star thrower Synne Buch, who sadly lost her chance to play on through the finals as the bunny apotech saved her puny life.

Two casualties came early on because the elfs were forced into many dodges (3+ and 5+ dodges caused the first two cas of the day)

The remaining three casualties were executed with dirty precision - once by Argos and twice by Xorn cause the ref went missing during first half.

As the match started it looked for a second like the match could have been a thriller, as a first turn failed go for it by Lex Liche gave the bunnies the lead, but then their wizzard failed misserably in turn 4, and from then on the bunnies had not much to do on pitch (and were also removed from it at an alarmingly fast pace).

DD's two mummies are now completely tied with 3-3 (1-1) in casualty before the semifinal and the final. So expect them to have an intern fight making several casualties each in the last two matches! Suprisingly it was Ramses the 5th who were elected MVP not Ra for his two cas.

Of course we should not forget that Mad Max managed to dodge the fireball and scored both TD in the 2-1 victory, and he is now in the seasons top scorer list!

And most joyfully we can anounce that Count Luthor once again will join DD during the play-offs and help ensure an easy win. He wasn't really needed in todays walkover, but might come in handy now. Wether he will also join us in the final, depends on how many wishes to see us in the semifinal.

But it might be enough as our number of fans keep increasing and is now back to the all time high of 16. And the fans will not be dissapointed when we either smash elves, crush thrals or eat Gobos in the semis!

So be there for that and the free sponsor beer from :

Killing Undead is never fun! Not even when it is the opposing teams undeads. And we even killed one of our own players today. :/

So it was with mixed feelings that DD made it through to the quaterfinals after the match: Deadly Doom - MoonKnight Shadows (season XIV, 1/8-final).

After missing last match The Green Ghost had been told he better show up for the play-offs, and so he did.

But when he grabbed the ball in the second turn of the match - in MoonKnight Shadows's reciving - and ran it down our own pitch, he simply tripped himself and was killed instantly in the fall.
At least he died with the ball in his hands, cause as a new zombie on MoonKnight Shadows it is not likely that The Dead Ghost will ever touch the ball again. But rather an undead zombie than not beeing undead must be the moto to die by here.

Anyway The Green Ghost already suffered from and old injruy caused by the fouling elfs from Sindarin Lords, and he was due for reteriment anyday now, having missed 2 matches this season already.

It is much worse that Uffe cannot play next match due to the cursed werewolf Heiko Herrlich that we just could not get rid of in yesterdays match. They are not really undead. And our MVP of the match Xorn recived it because he did SI injure the other wolf Anelka in a nice little foul (for wich he was expelled :p).

But the two kills that we inflicted on a necro zombie and wight did luckily regenerate. We do not wish to kill those nice types of players. One of the kills was suprisingly inflicted by Argos who now has made his second real casualty and as many kills this way as in the fouling art (1 in each way).

And more importantly Ramses the 5th finally passed the 50 point barrier with his 7th kill in only 22 casualties and became a real star. Although slow it is but impossible to hold him back with an indifferent lineman, as he now has practies the dodge to go with his breack tackle and Stand Firm abilities.

He is now the only star on DD. It seems DD never can have two at once.

But of course we have to let all praise for our secure victory go to our dead friend Count Luthor. The vampire ran with the ball most of the game and scored both our TDs. Sadly he has other commitments next week, and will not join us in the quaterfinal. However, he has mentioned that he might comme back either in the semifinal og maybe the final. He is as always a great asset.

Although some bad rumors displeased our fans at the beginning of the match, our great play and the fun match turned all bad feeling down, and even more fans joined DD after their first win in 5 tries. We never went more than 2 matches without a win before, but two ties in that run was enough to get us here, and it was indeed a very good time to get back on the winning streak again.

And four matches without a win must mean that we now take four straight win and the title.

So be there next week - when we breeze through the quaterfinal - for the free sponsor beer:

Only third placed in Group B! But we are in the play-off!

The worst group result ever for DD, who not only lost two out of 6 games, but also trippled their total number of tied matches with 2 this season alone. And then of course the two important victories to make it through to the play-off!

But it was the greatest pleassure to see that our tied match agasint our worst enemies the orcs of Zola^BB not only send us through, but knocked them out of the play-offs :p

Although this result was first secrured when the lovely humans from Grünburg Gryphons won 2-0 over the puny elves from Woodwatchers and completed the killing as begun by the other norse humans from Olvig Vikings.
Hail to those two teams that lost to us ;) but trashed our 2nd worst foe on the pitch :D

And even after the woodies had to concede, 3 turns to soon, against Grünburg Gryphons (as they only had 2 players left to go onto LoS), Gruesome Grinders still had to fight back from beeing down 0-2 against the all winning??? gobo team Bad Moon Backstabbers before the other Orcs forced them selves into the best 5th place in the upper bracket, and left Zola^BB out in the dark. :)

Zola^BB probably wished they had hired Morg instead of Varag now. They needed his Strength to compete with Ra and Ramses the 5th!

Soon we will play in our fourth straight play-off, and we can line up with St 6 block, Stand Firm. St 5 block Stand firm, St 5 AG 4 blodge Gaze, and St 4 blodge sure hands. And 12 other talented players including two AG 4 players. ;)

So we are ready to take on (and bend :D ) any team that are unlucky enough to draw DD in the play-off.

Be there for the round of 16th, then the quaterfinal, the semifinale and of course for the FINAL, as DD takes the GOLD.

And there you will get golden beer from our sponsor:

We are in the play-offs, with the help of Count Luthor the Vampire.

With our bad experience against Zola^BB in last seasons round of 16th and realizing that we might not make it to the play-offs with only 5 points, Necromancer Kynde did not dare to save all the money in the team treasury for the play-offs.

It was so much more important to get into the play-offs than to secure to have Count Luthor with us there, and then instead fail to get there said Necromancer Kynde.

And it turned out that Count Luthor was the "match winner" in the needed draw in:
Zola^BB - Deadly Doom (season XIV, round 6)

In the first half he was the only one who would really challenge Zepelin the crazy orc blitzer on Zola^BB, and although DD failed to stop the Orcs from scoring, Luthor was the reason we had 11 players to field for second half, as our star Ghoul The Green Ghost had missed the match due to his old injury.

In second half Luthor carried the ball all the way, and made a fantastic change of sides, that enabled him to get within scoring distance before the last turn. That this became possible will have to be assigned to the teams' fantastic mummies. Although the two mummies Ramses the 5th and Ra has only made 3 cas this season (together) they are still a force to be reckoned with, and together they held on to 7 orcs including 3 black orcs and the troll, hence leaving only 4 orcs to attack Luthor. And they failed.

But just when we seemed to have the 1-1 tie secured the Ref extends the match due to injury time. I have never heard of this before, and it came like a shock. Just as I though now we have the tie, because Luthor did not roll double 1 on the dodge, then because we roll yet another double 1 the tie was not yet secured.

But again the mummies are very good at being in the way, and it was all but impossible for the orcs to get to the end zone.

And hence with the tie it seems DD will take third place in the group, and at worst fourth, so we are now sure to progress to the round of 16th. That is the worst thriller DD has encountered so far, being used to take 1st of 2nd place in their group, and always had they secured the place in the play-off before the last match.

This insecurity just cost us 90 k, and now we are not sure to be able to hire Luthor more than once more in the play-off. In the last many matches we have only earned 10-20 k and that is way short of what is needed to afford the expensive count. Cause even though he is friend of Kynde, he will not risk taking the pitch without receiving a proper fee.

For the second match in a row the MVP went to a zombie that was injured and failed to regenerate (this time Wolf was even BH in the very first turn.) Strange indeed.

But at least our fans was satisfied that we made it through to the play-offs and stayed with us this time, and next match I can assure you fans out there: DD will win, and we feel we have what it takes to go all the way, having made it through the hardest group ever in the history of Aros BBL.

So be there for the round of 16th when we will break down one of the teams from the lesser brackets (which includes group A if anyone should be in doubt :D).

We really hate Chaos Dwars... Yes Yes, we really do my precious. :/

That was the only comment we could get from an obviously very dissapointed Necromancer Kynde after todays match:
Zhatan's Disciples - Deadly Doom (season XIV, round 7)

Apart from seeing his team ripped apart for the third time by a Chaos Dwarf team he also had to suffer seeing second half from the stand after arguing with the ref when Argos was send off pitch at the end of first half.

However, during the match there were several times where things looked good. First the ball was on the ground during Diciples reciving, but then a later bounce were caught by hated ball carrier Maitos.

And finally Kynde made a wrong choice before Diciples last turn of first half, hence allowing them a free two dice blitz on the one player who else would have made it dificult for them to score for 0-1.

After a quick TD through great play by The Green Ghost and Lex Liche who tied the game, DD hoped to get the break they failed to get in first half. But double skull after RR spend on dodge, and 1s and skulls and 1s again, saw the Necromancer tear at his own hair in the stands.

For the first time in 4 seasons DD has not played themselves through to the play-offs after their second last match. During the next few days it may be revealed that the 5 points is already enough after all, but it is possible that DD will need to take points from the evil orcs from Zola^BB in next weeks match to progress to the roud of 16th!

And that match will be played without Sinistra Dextre and Benno Brausekopf II who will not be ready before an eventual play-off. :/

Only fun thing today was that the head coach of Zhatan's Disciples seemed to have developed a serious grudge for Uffe, but although they managed to SI him, he just came right back in again only to be KOed. So Uffe is still a zombie on DD :D

Although we of course lost fans on todays failure, we still have many, and we will strive not to disapoint them next time we play.
This is the first time, after 35 matches, were DD have gone three matches in a row without a win. And now we have also reached our 10th loss over all compared to only 23 wins and 2 ties).

A welf zombie on the team! Finally after 27 matches in a row without a permanent kill we had the luck that Eldahmar Chainbarrier failed a dodge and died. Hence Necromancer Kynde could raise him on to DD as Eldahmar "Broken" Chain and put him up against his former team mates, much to their consternation, even letting him take down his own tree! :D

Appart from that we were so extremely unlucky to loose in that last turn, (or entire unlucky last 4 turn drive), were only unbelivable events keept us from winning. Less than 0.01% was the risk that it could go wrong, and who can fight those odds?

At least this match:
Deadly Doom - Woodwatchers (season XIV, round 5)
went much better than our last encounter, as this time we had the 5 casualties and 2 kills against nil, instead of the humiliating 1-5 cas score (also 0-2 in kills) of our last encounter. And loosing 1-2 to the leagues best (and most hated!) Welf team is something a couple of kills easily can soothe :)

Best event of the day came from Xorn who against all expectations killed Dancer Ilmarin Fireblow sadly the apotech kept us from having him on the team, and we also lost out on the other bounty player on watchers as Loudmouth Glassjaw were only SI when fouled by S. Finxter!.

Appart from that our fouling failed completely. Two out of three times we saw unbroken AV when our dirty players only needed to roll 4 or 5+ and another foul action stopped due to a failed go for it. So none came from that really.

Sinistra Dextre had the luck to get the ball and score his 2nd TD, but on the expence of Mad Max who have tried to get the last 3 spp he needed to learn a new skill during the last three matches. But this time he was rewarded with an MVP and has now the sure hands he was trying to aquire.

Most suprising were the fact that Wolf made a completion. The first AG 2 player on our team to do so, and even without a team RR. He has now learned block.

Finally Ra managed to make his first casualty of the season, but it is still ebarrasing for the mummies that they combined have made no more casualties than the teams zombies! Shame on them!

We still remain one of the most popular teams in Aros, and next match we will have the chance to give our fans a much needed revenge over the lucky orcs that managed to steal our place in the quaterfinales last season! Expect to see some very dead orcses when we play round 6.

Roasted beast men were served as prommised, when DD took down 5 of Halfdead Clawkillers' beast men in yestedays draw:
Deadly Doom - Halfdead Clawkillers (season XIV, round 3)

We are fairly satisfied that we got the draw, although Mad Max only needed a push back in a one dice blitz (with RR) to score in their reciving (1. half turn 3) and then he went down himself on two single skulls!

But appart from that we are again deligted to smash the feared Halfdead Clawkillers. In our first encounter - Deadly Doom - Halfdead Clawkillers (season XII, 1/4-final) - we took them out 6-2 in cas, 3-0 in TD to move into the semi final. Hence we are 11-4 in casualty against them in two tries. But once again we are so unfortunate not to make any killings or any real permanent damage. Only 2 MNG did we inflict. :/

This has been DD's problem since the early matches in season XI. We never kill anyone! :(
Hence we have to buy our own zombies. Since round 7 season XI, we haven't made a single permanent kill, that is 26 matches in a row now!

Since that round 7 match (where an apo failed) we have only managed to inflict 4 permanent damages (2 nigglings and a couple of stat decreaes).

All in all we have only made 11 permanent damages out of a total of 91 casualty. (4 kills, but 3 of those in our 2nd match alone and 3 nigglings in our very first match).
We are worried about how nice our players are, once the apo has been used!

Regarding casualties our mummies must be embarased now, as one of their own fans, the crazy mummy Rufulus joined the team yesterday, and single handedly made 3 casualty only leaving one for Ramses the 5th and then the last to our old dirty player Argos.

If we ever need a new mummy on DD Rufulus can be sure to get asked first!

But as we all know DD has many fans and also after yesterdays match we remain the most popular team in Aros.

Next round Necromancer Kynde will be recuperating and hence he will not return until round 5 where it is time to get revenge on the hated Wood Elfs, and we are going to destroy Woodwatchers! (Like in our very first match :D)

Norse teams are also easy to beat. Despite the snow cowering the land, they never had a chance, so scared they were for my mummies. :D

Funnily enough it was a rookie ghoul Sinistra Dextre and old zombie Benno Brausekopf II who made our two casualties. The mummies only made KOs in this game:
Deadly Doom - Olvig Vikings (season XIV, round 2)

It may look like we had problems with 4 casualties against, but two of those regenerated, and the last two came in the middle of second half, at a time when DD were already on their way to score for 3-0. So that negative cas score never had any impact on DD.

Although at the moment Ramses the 5th is feeling quite shamefull, as old zombie Benno Brausekopf II has made more cas this season than him and Ra combined!

It was definately Sinistra Dextre's match. In this his only second match he first killed the ball carrier, and nex turn he got the ball on a hand-off and ran for the 1-0 TD. A completion in second half saw him gain enough experience to obtain block in just one match.
Well what can you expect, the Ghoul has no. 13 and it is the 13th (and the game was played at a stadium in a house with no 13 :p)

However, Mad Max should not be forgooten. The Mad Ghoul has made 2 TD in each of the first two matches this season. He is quite an asset for the team!

Sadly our newest zombie Vigo failed to regenerate a kill, but seeing as he also failed to get on pitch in his first match it may have been an error to put him on the team in the first place

Necromancer Kynde will now take some time to think wether new zombies are needed on DD. Maybe we can kill us to one against the puny Clakillers that we face next match. They owe us one, as we made 6 casualties against them in our last match without inflicting any permanent damage.

We look forward to take on the foul Halfdead Clawkillers next round, and our fans likes us as usual. We have already gained back both points of FF we lost during the break, and is again (as usual) the most popular team in Aros.

So be there for the roasted beasts at our next game, and enjoy it along with a free beer from our sponsors:

Sure win as DD takes on their first human opponent ever.

In three seasons DD never played against humans (no Amazone or Norse either, or Dwarfs for that matter, the 4 teams that can hire Zara). And this season, although in a group of only 7 teams we begins with the humans of Grünburg Gryphons and already in or 2nd match we will take on the Norse from Olvig Vikings.

Our season opening match
Deadly Doom - Grünburg Gryphons (season XIV, round 1)
was troubled by three of our players who had some personal problems, and only Ramses the 5th came back for 2nd half. But then it was easy for him to make a SI (his 20th cas!!!) and secure the 2-1 TD. It was our crazy Ghoul Mad Max who made both our TDs.

Top wight Lex Liche never got to use his new found agility due to his visit at the toilet all match, and same goes for our "new" zombie Vigo who nevertheless recived the MVP?

All in all it was a quiet match were the victory was in our hands early on, and we brought it safe home, along with even more fans!

And all you fans should join os next week, when we serve (s)mashed Norse for you to go with the free sponsor beer. :D

Feb. 2nd, 2005
With less than a week to the season begins DD is ready for kick-off.

We are at this moment a little pussled about the on going bragging between the new elven teams. If I were a new elf in the league I would try to be very silent, as to not draw the wrath of DDs mummies upon me :p
Lucky for them, we will not meet during the opening rounds, as they will surely belong in the lower (less worthy) brackets.
But it is good to know, that even elfs like to kill elfs, so at least we have that in common :D

The three new DD players (Erik, Vigo and Sinistra Dextre) have joined the teams practice sesions and will hopefully soon become an integrated part of the roster.

These three new players all have new profiles, and all the experienced players on DD now have an updated version of their profile.
Even the 6 players who left DD during last season has had their profile updated.

We would like to take a moment in memory for the four players who were "killed" on pitch and are no longer among us un-dead:
Geleb Reanimated
Devlin Hellgal
Conan and
Brill
!RIP!

Bram Stoker retired to become the so far lone assistant coach on DD but he has done well teaching newest wight S. Finxter the way to guard!

Finally we "lost" Eata Corpus but he is no longer missed by Necromancer Kynde after his treacherous behaviour at the end of last season!

To any fans of DD who would like to read about their favourite stars, we would like to remind you that although some of the profiles are very long by now (especially for players who have been with the team for 2-3 season like Ramses the 5th), it is easy to find and read the latest news.
If anything important happens to a player during this season, it will be mentioned at the top of the profile, whereas last seasons comments will be found below in the "Old News" section.

Also note that the last part of all profiles simply is a list of what the player has achived in his carrier. Hence this is not a part of the profile as such. For a player like Ra it mainly lists the names of the players he has injured. Wereas for The Green Ghost it list the matches were he made TDs and completions.

After this little information about our player profiles there only remains to be said one thing:

Deadly Doom is ready for season XIV, and their own fourth season.

We have high hopes for this one says Necromancer Kynde. We have eleminated one of our niggling Ghouls (Eata Corpus) and in the last match our very old skelly Brill died. This leaves an almost injury free team, with only our star Ghoul The Green Ghost carrying a niggling. He will, however, remain on the team due to his abilities, and he has never missed his niggling so far!

With a series of great skill rolls after the last match in season XIII (+AG, +ST, a trait and no aging in 4 rolls eventhough a star roll was included) DD is as strong as ever. We did loose some of our practise (RR) during the off season, but in a few matches we will be able to regain our former abilities.

To strengthen the team three new players have been enlisted on the roster:

To replace the killings in the last match skeleton Erik and zombie Vigo has ben collected from Kyndes piles and dusted of, so they are ready for the first match.

It was more complicated to find a replacement for Eata Corpus, but finally Kynde got hold of confused Ghoul Sinistra Dextre. It may seem a bit risky to include a Ghoul who do not know right from left (of wrong?), but Kynde thinks his confused ways will help confuse the opponents as well. Kynde hopes to learn the newcommer a quick skill or two in the beginning of the season.

With all these adjustements the team is ready to go for the championship once again! And this time we will make it all the way! ;)

So join us for the season opening on february 8th, were our sponsors will supply all DD fans with a free beer.

Dec. 19th, 2004
These are the facts for Deadly Doom after season XIII.

DD has now played 3 seasons (XI-XIII) and 30 matches. Best result is 3rd place in XII.

Having passed the 20 wins (21) gives them one of the higest win rates in Aros BBL with 70%
On the other hand only 1 tie gives them a very low tie rate (3.3%) and hence a bit to high loss rate of 26.7%. (It took 27 matches before DD played their first tied game)

No active teams can beat the win percentage, and only another undead team Necropolis Tombraiders has a higher win rate (73%), but only over two seasons and 15 matches. Of course the all time most famous team Bad Moon Provorcs have 80% win rate (in 7 season and 45 matches). But they are from another lost time...

So far DD has never had even a chance to get at the hated Zarra the Slayer. Because in 3 seasons (going on to the play-offs every season) and 30 matches, DD have never played against any kind of human team, or against normal dwarfs. Appart from a single lizzard men match, DD has also never played stunty teams. And no other Undeads!

Of course DD also have never played the two newest races Ogres and Vampires, or the new races Nurgle and Necromantic. But Khemri and Elf has been beaten, and all other races (10) have also had the misfortune to meath DD. (Alas Lizzard men is still 1-0 against us).

Wood Elfs is by far the race we have played most with 6 matches, of these we have a 4-2 record.
6 Wood Elfs 4-2
5 Skaven 4-1
4 Dark Elfs 2-1-1
4 Chaos Dwarfs 2-2
3 Chaos 3-0
4 Orcs 3-1
1 High Elf 1-0
1 Khemri 1-0
1 Elf 1-0
1 Lizzard 0-1

No team has yet beaten DD twice, wheras we for instance has taken a team like Sindarin Lords 3 times - once each season. The only other team we have met trice is Death Extravagante, and we have one win each and DD's only tie came against them this season!

When DD began 3 seasons ago they had 12 players. Only three of these are left as we go into the fourth season:
Argos, Lex Liche and Ramses the 5th. all three players have played in all DD's matches so far, and has no permanent injury (ie. no aging). They have 2, 3 and 3 skills with Ramses the 5th soon aspirering to becoming a real star player.

After the Crush (costing a damned Eata Corpus, a RR and 2 points of FF) DD only had 11 players because 2 died (Brill and Geleb Reanimated) in the last match against Zola^BB. But DD has 180 k to buy from, and expect to rehire players to fill the three holes made in the roster since before the last match. (A Ghoul, a Skeleton and a Zombie only takes op 130 k. The last 50 k will be saved to see if we can bring DD back in shape with a 5th RR again, but they come a 140 k).

Our two mummies have asked for a raise of 10 k each, which were granted considering how extremely usefull they have made them selves, with Stand Firm and block, and then St 6 for Ra and breack tacle for Ramses the 5th. But it will probably cause a delay before the extra RR can be aquired.

In 30 matches DD has achived 38 skill rolls on a 19 different players (8 players on DD have obtained zero skills). Of the 11 still active players 9 have 21 skills (2 has zip).
After the first 36 rolls, DD had almost exactly what they statistically could expect of 10-12s and doubles. They were only one double short. But as roll 37-38 was an 11 and a 12 DD is slightly ahead on the good rolls. As only one double and one 11 and a 10 has been retired DD still have 2 ST, 2 agility and 3 traits among the 21 active skills.

And aging? Only 3 agings so far, two on the same skeleton who did not get a niggling but -MA and AV and is now dead (Brill) and a single niggling which caused a painfull retirement of Eata Corpus!

There have been quite a fuss about how much DD was fouling! Well it is true that DD have had the ref in 9 matches out of 30 (one of these were a tie), and only two times did the opponent get the ref alone. But this seaon fouling only caused 3 casualties, and none with permanent effect.

Actually DD is one of the nicest teams around when it comes to avoiding causing permanent injuries to the opponent. (Permanent injuries does not include MNG! Only niggling, stat decrease and kills counts!)

This season only two permanent injuries were inflicted, and on the same team when Chaos49 obtained both a -AV and -MA. In the other 9 matches this season any injury worse than MNG were cured by the apotech. (Including 3 kills.)

Over all 30 matches DD have inflicted 82 casualties but only 11 causing permanent injuries. And it seems the injuries acummulate in only a few matches, as only 5 matches have resulted in a cripled opponent. Worst it was for Die Haubtabteilung who suffered 3 kills (Benno Brausekopf II still plays for DD), but also Woodwatchers had a bad time as they recived 3 nigglings in their (and DDs) very first match, one of these are still on their team!
Then there were the match mentioned against Chaos49 and also another skaven team Drakwald Poison Daggers suffered two nigglings. Only one more kill has been permanent and that was because an apo failed for Tainted Rams and hence Geleb Reanimated came to play for DD until he was killed in DD's last match, the first match after he finally had learned to block.

DD on the other hand has not been so fortunate. In only 63 cas inflicted on the team 13 has had permanent results, including 7 kills, 4 nigglings, -MA and -AG.
Only twice have a kill been regenerated (both times mummies) wheras 4 kills has been on 2 skeletons and 2 zombies who failed and then 3 Ghouls. Of the other 6 injuries only one niggling player (The Green Ghost) of these are still playing for DD. The only injured player on DD's roster.

In 19 less injuries DD have had 2 more permanent injuries. This is probably a good indication of how much better an apotech is compared to regenerate. And also up to 4 players does not even have regenerate.

But DD can't complain as the team is by now almost injury free! And with 14 players ready for next season and still being one of the most popular teams (FF 13 vs a maximum of 14, alas the champs have +2 from the trophee to their 14 = 16), DD and our sponsor look toward complete victory in season XIV with great comfort! :D

Dec. 19th, 2004
Finally a furious Necromancer Kynde got the better of Eata Corpus.

Eata Corpus had not been seen since he scored his last TD in Zhatan's Disciples - Deadly Doom (season XIII, round 8).
When he stayed away from the last group match against The Snails it did not bother Kynde too much, as it had happened once before, and this time it was an unimportant match, that was won easily anyway.

But when he then also "forgot" to show up for the very important game: Deadly Doom - Zola^BB (season XIII, 1/8-final) which were only lost in a penalty shootout, Kynde became enraged :(

With Eata Corpus playing up to his normaly fantastic standards we would easily have beaten those damned Orcs, and from there on the road to becomeing Champs would have been wide open. Here I have taken care of this ungratefull Ghoul through 3 seasons nurturing him to become one of the greatest of our time, and then he fails me completely in such an important match. It is unforgivable. And I relyed on him, since he had practicaly never failed to show up for a single match since the debut of the team. I had never let him be seriously injured, and then he suddenly got old and tired of the game. :/

Eata Corpus stayed under cover for a good reason from then on, but Kynde send two of his best players out to look for him. Lex Liche who has now become just as agile as Eata Corpus and up and comming Ghoul Mad Max who is extremely strong. With this strength and the great shadowing and tackling abilities of Lex Liche they finally manged to hunt down and bring Eata Corpus back to Necromancer Kynde.

After tourturing him for some time (amongst others forcing him to eat "live" meat) Kynde decided he needed to get something out of Eata Corpus. There were a 20k bounty on his head and so many fans had loved the Ghoul when he performed. (He had just made it in to the top 15 on the all time topscorer list!)

So Necromancer Kynde took him out and executed him in public, in this way he could collect the 20 k bounty for himself. Furthermore, he separated Eata Corpus from his limbs and finally cut his head off. And then he sold the parts on e-bay, probably to some of DD's (and especially Eata Corpus's) crazy fans.
The arms gave 10 k and so did the legs and the torso, but the head! It gave no less than 20 k. (A nice trofee on the wall?) So all in all Kynde managed to collect 70 k from "retiering" Eata Corpus.

With these money Kynde will try to attach a more faitfull ghoul to DD for next season. So at least the death of Eata Corpus will not be a complete loss for the team!

We hope our fans will understand the need to set up this example, and although we emidiatly have registred a loss of fans when Eata Corpus dissaperaed we hope to gain them back next season.

So remember DD and also remember to support our sponsor:

Nov. 21st, 2004
Penalty shoot out! Loosing on a DAMNED penalty shoot out. We were so close, but a last second tieing TD by the orcs, and we are out in penalty shoot out! And they have +2 on the dice roll, and of course takes home the quaterfinal place.

I belive we were very unlucky with the draw for our Round of 16th match:
Deadly Doom - Zola^BB (season XIII, 1/8-final)
Zola is by far one of the strongest teams in the play-offs lining up 8 ST 4+ players including Varag, and we only had 3, althoug all 3 were ST 5+ including Count Luthor. In the end it was just not enough here in our 30th aniversary match. We did have a good feeling about the match before hand, seeing as DD managed to make 13 point in the group matches in this unholy season 13. Zola had made 14. It seemed like good Karma, but obviously it wasn’t :/

Worst of all though, is that our top star Eata Corpus has not been seen since we won over Zhatan's Disciples. Although we could accept he took some time off in the last unimportant group match, we are very displeased with him now. Necromancer Kynde can not prommise that Eata plays for DD next season (or plays for anyone at all for that matter)!

The rest of the crew did a marvelous job against the orcs, but sadly we have had to say goodbye to two of our old and faitfull linemens. Worst of all our old skelly Brill who has only failed to play in one of our 30 matches. But with only AV 6 and MA 4 due to old age, his time had finally come up. He never did manage to regenerate.
A bitter pill it also was to see Geleb Reanimated fail to take use of his new blocking skills! After using 22 matches to gain it, he dies the very next match. Ironic, but cest la morte ;)

But back to the good players: Ra and The Green Ghost.
Ra managed to hit hard back on the orcs twice, and for the first time ever he made a kill, alas once again an apotech steal away our new zombies! The other was a SI and Zola will only have one thrower for next game!
After 3 straight matches without a cas, Ra in the end manages to sneak back in top as the most violent mummy on DD with 8 vs “only“ 7 cas to Ramses the 5th. For this we honor him with the trait that has become the mark of Ramses the 5th: Stand Firm ;)

By far the most versatile player of the match would have to be The Green Ghost. An interception, a TD and a completion (for the 2nd TD). All in all it just gave him the Star Player status learning him Strip Ball. It was only the 2nd interception by DD so far.

Two other players managed to learn new skills. Lex Liche became first emerging star Wight on DD with his MVP earning him an agility increase. Just as agile as our two top Ghouls!
Finally a last turn (of the season) completion by Mad Max just makes him live even more up to his name as he became the fist ST 4 player on DD!

What a cool round of new skills, normal, double, 11 and 12 in that order, and although it was a 4th two 3rd and one 2nd skill roll no aging took place, thanks to nufle! :D

Count luthor the Vampire did not do as much as we could have hoped, failing an easy catch (leading to the interception) and then he were KOed the entire second half before waking up for the overtime were he at least managed to score for 2-1. But it was not enough and he failed to slay down the orc that then proceded to score the tieing TD for 2-2. He will not be taken in as part of the team for the next many matches!

Of course our fans hated this, and it was the first time this season we lost any fans. Some of them probably follows Zola in their effort to win the cup? At least it will not affect next seasons FF which would anyway drop to 13 due to crush. But it was a disapointment to feel the wrath of the fans. Could you not just have made yet another pitch invasion or a riot in that last drive! Although thanks for the rock that BH the troll!

This will be all from Necromancer Kynde this season, but with our new batch of skills we will surely be back next season with an even stronger team, making one more bit for the trophy.

So stay tuned and support our sponsor by drinking:

Pitch invasion again. 6 rats down, two BH. We would like to thanks our many fans once again, as they, for the second match running, has begun the match by invading the pitch.

In this wey they helped us get unharmed through our last an unimportant group match:
The Snails - Deadly Doom (season XIII, round 9)

Withthe win we are back in second place in Group B, and for the third straight season have we not ended outside of top 2 in our group.

With 5 casualties vs 1, where two came from top mummy Ramses the 5th, we finally got back to a positive cas score for the season. And Geleb Reanimated who made the last of the casualties became the first DD zombie to make 3 cas and thus learn a skill without the help of MVPs. He is now even better at blocking!

After a quick TD by The Green Ghost - Mad Max showed the way by making the last 2 for 3-1. But he should not be all to pleased by himself, because the reason the rats got to 2-1, was that he fumbled a pick-up for a TD to 3-0! Instead the ball went to the crowd, and this gave the rats a TD for 2-1. But he saved the day by making it to 3-1 at last.

DD has a full team and quite some money for the play-off, hence Count Luthor will be ready for next match: The round of 16th.

So be there and see us ease through to the quaterfinals!

And remeber to support our sponsor who will hand out free beer to any DD fan.

Nov. 3rd, 2004
With our 20th victory we made it through to the play-offs with one round to go as usual.

And we can also say goodby to our Chaos Dwarf complex after first beating Dominions of Chaos and now getting even with the hated Zhatan's Disciples, who are now no longer so sure of staying ahead of us in the group. Only one TD are we behind them with one round to go, and back in top 2 were we belong.

We would like to dedicate yesterdays victory in
Zhatan's Disciples - Deadly Doom (season XIII, round 8)
to the fans for invading the pitch when trhe dwarfs recived and then later holding off the gme in a 4 turns riot when we recived at the start of second half.

This helped alot but don't worry we could easily have beaten them without your help. But you are nevertheless always welcome on pitch ;)

Eata Corpus made the games first, and his 15th TD, thus moving him into top 15 on the all time top scorer list. He is also 3rd on the active players list.

But our mummies did not manage a single casualty, and only a well put foot by Argos saved DD's honor with a BH Bull. Hopefully we will do better next match against Skaven and AV 7 + AG 3 :p

It is very shamefull that we must aknowledge that we have a negatvie cas score this season, but we hope to change this next week!

Necromancer Kynde has confirmed that old friend Count Luthoer von Drakenbourgh will play in the round of 16th and almost certainly also in the quarterfinal. But after that it is most unsure that he will be ready for the semis and the final. DD can manage without him, but do always apreaciate the old Vamps services.

Eventhough we are already in the play-off don't miss out on the fun next week when DD's mummies are fighting to get most casualties on the mean rats, and as you know you are always welcome to leand a helping hand on pitch...

A tie. DD's first in 27 matches. The result was accepted by Necromancer Kynde with mixes emotions. It could have gone either way, but at the end it was DD who came close to victory and failed.

In yesterdays match
Deadly Doom - Death Extravagante (season XIII, round 7)
everything was turned upside down. DD was good at dodging even with skellies and zombies, but could not get the elves down, whereas the elves had a 5-1 cas score, but in the end almost lost due to a failed dodge.

Our mummies seemed useless this match, but at least Ramses the 5th saved our honors by making a single BH.

The high cas score from the elves is also extraordinary. They never made a KO, and each of the 3 times zombies were pushed off the pitch they were injured. It was either high rolls on injury or only stunned. Actaully I think they made only 2-3 stun vs 0 KO and 5 cas! We only made 3 KO appart from the single cas. Unbelivable (Skørt, men sandt :P)

We must also admit we had a though time moving anywhere during first half, especially being one man less than Extravagante most of the time. But Eata Corpus saved the day when he, in the last turn of first half, for the first time ever made a leap, and hence scored for 1-0.

But in the end of second half victory came almost in our hands when The Green Ghost managed to take the ball holder Shovah Hellfire down, but the ball landed out of reach, and even without RR Roxanna Redvenom managed to get to the ball and tie the game.

Although we have 5 casualties against us, only three different players were injured, as the two "raised" zombies Benno Brausekopf II and Geleb Reanimated were injured twice each. The last one actually regenerated from BH both times, whereas Benno regenerated the only SI of the match but not from his BH.

We are now one step closer to the play-offs but we need the win next week when we will get our revenge over the cursed Chaos Dwarfs from Zhatan's Disciples. Then we will reach the magic 11 point needed to be sure of the play-off, but more importantly when we win our last match we will reach the sacred number 13, here in season 13! ;)

Our fans remained constant as we keep on being the most popular team, but eventhough a new gate record was set here against the almost evenly populare Extravagante (109 k - 63 k from DD), we would make a pledge to the fans. DO NOT INJURE DD's PLAYERS when they are psuhed out to you.

If you keep doing this our sponsor might refrain from offering free beer.

But this will not happen next time against the CD's, so be there for the ever running free beer and support our sponsor:

Back on track and killing rats. And we are again in the top of our group with a (at present) 2nd place.

However, two teams could get ahead of us during round 6 if they win, but still we got away from the 6th place near the cut.

Also we have now, with our first match scoring 4 TDs, in our 4-1 victory
Chaos49 - Deadly Doom (season XIII, round 6)
managed to get a positive TD score again!

It is also a reacord with a 5 TD total vs 4 TDs as the maximum in a single DD match previously-

All in all a great match for DD, who managed to let two rookies score 3 of the TDs thus Mad Max became the third blodger on DD and S. Finxter has already now fulfilled his role on the team by replacing guard Bram Stoker. Well done.

Both mummies got at it today, although Ramses the 5th clearly out scored the single BH by Ra, with both a kill and a SI. To bad the zombie runner was stolen away from us by the apotech.

Ramses the 5th is with 6 kills now only 1 kill away from the 7 made by the two most leathal active players in DD. And this has been done in only 16 casualty making his kill rate 37.5%

Ra has yet to make his first kill in 11 casautlies, and we have talked with him about not beeing so nice, although he is 6-4 in casualty this season, he is 0-2 in kills against Ramses the 5th. Five BH and only one SI has he inflicted.

We have earned alot of money this match, and if we can keep the good work up the next three matched Count Luthor the vampire, old friend of Necromancer Kynde. will be a sure addition on DD in the last four matches during the playoffs, and can thus celebrate with us when we win the season!

And the fans loves it when we bash rats, and with even more comming along, DD is now the most popular acrtive team in Aros! But remember fans to get the ref before the last turn next time! ;)

Keep up the interest, and return for our next match and keep on drinking the free beer from our sponsor:

To much braging from Zhatan's Disciples!

Yes they do lie at the top of our group B, but what have they acomplished so far? They have only won over the four buttom team of the group, and only tied the first "top" team they played with (the easy beatable elfs from Sindarin Lords :P).

But now they will soon have to face the real BB teams in group B over their last 4 matches, and it is likely they will not gain any more points this season. :D

We are aware we had a very bad match against the diciples last season, but we are hence so much more eager to avenge our selves this season. ;)

So beware all you doomed Chaos Dwarfs. DD is seaking bloody revenge!

But first we will have to get over the match against the groups buttom team Chaos49, before we can turn towards the top!

So be there this sunday afternoon for the free beer from our sponsor:

Four Ghouls at last!

It took 25 matches before DD could support a roster with 4 Ghouls. :D

With an early dead of Devlin Hellgal, who had once been known as Devlin Hellboy, who lost his agility in a SI and had been forced into retirement, Snufitt Wice who died in last seasons semifinal, and of course the dead of famous first and only season Ghoul Rigor Mortis in the quaterfinal of season XI's first turn, it has been hard for DD to support 4 Ghouls at one time.

With the addition of Mad Max who already scored yesterday in his first match we came back to three Ghouls.

And now the adition of Mean Midget finally completes the quartet.

However, these two new Ghouls (the M&M's) will have a tough time to compete when DD's two AG 4 Ghouls Eata Corpus and The Green Ghost are on pitch together,

However, as both of these AG 4 Ghouls sport a niggling injury, it may still be that DD never get a chance to field 4 Ghouls in one drive?

Only time will tell, but at least this will then give the 2M&M's a chance to get into action.

It will be exciting to see the development of the team, who have maybe even grown stronger after Woodwatchers cleared a few players of the roster?

So be there after the Autumn break to see what 4 Ghouls can do, when 3 of them can make it a 3-0 victory with one TD each ;)

Until then remeber to support our sponsors by drinking: Akse, DamneD beer!

Back on track with a little help from a Troll!

The 3rd time we beat up orcs, was a good one, as we really felt we needed a win after the last two defeats.

In the match:
Gruesome Grinders - Deadly Doom (season XIII, round 5)
we took home a 3-0 win, after 2-0 last time we met Gruesome Grinders and a 1-0 victory the first time we faced orcs. Looks like 4-0 next time? :P

All three Ghouls were ready for the match, and scored once each, in the order they were enlisted on the team. Eata Corpus for 1-0 to take the lead, The Green Ghost for 2-0 to secure the match, and in the last drive new Ghoul Mad Max was on pitch for the firs time, and he closed the match 3-0 by catching The Green Ghost's long pass in the very sunny afternoon. The Green Ghost has now become official thrower on team.

With this good team work between the Ghouls, we are planning to enlist a new Ghoul before next match. DD has never before had 4 Ghouls at once. However, it may still be a while before 4 is ready for a match with the two niggling star ghouls!

Alas we made no casualties, and shame on the mummies for that. Appart from that they played a decend match, but all hails go to our newest zombie Wolf. Firstly he was the first player to regenerate in 5 tries, and thus prevented the troll Fleischhammer of breaking his collar bone for good. A ST 2 zombie would not have had a place on the team! Secondly he went down along with the troll in 2nd half, thus taking the orcs first turn, and this gave us the ball and the win. Thridly he pushed a blitzer off-pitch so our fans could BH him, thus at least giving us a single casualty. And for all this he was of course elected MVP of the match! (The troll had both SI him, stunned him and finally KOed him, but he was still ready for the after party, were he were celebrated in stile.)

Wolf was the only DD player to be injured worse than stunned, and we also only made a single KO. So a very non violent match, but we made the TDs!

And once again we would like to thank our fans. For throwing a rock at that brute of a troll, although he were only stunned. For the crowd BH. And finally for the fact that so many fans had showed up, it was hard to belive. 68 k of our fans, and also so many Orcs, that the total is new season record: 106 k. I guess you fans needed to see a victory. And all this gate just gave us enough money for a new Ghoul!

Especially now with the autumn break comming up, is it nice to have a win to think of during the break. Necromancer Kynde has anounced that he will take a little trip to Rome to look for old skelletons in Colleseum. Maybe he wish to enlist a new one to replace Conan? So Kynde will be unavailable for the next week. But ready in time for round 6!

Our game is not working anymore! Maybe the head coach is not feeling well at the moment?

Necromancer Kynde has promissed his team that he will pull himself together after these two defeat (only second time DD has lost two consecutive matches).

But at least in todays match (played half a wek too early as the rat Coch could not wait):
Deadly Doom - Headz'n'Tailzz (season XIII, round 4)
no players were injured permanently on DD, and we have earned enough money to replace late Ghould Devlin Hellgal with a new, although his quite nuts. DD welcomes Mad Max on the roster.

Worst of all was it that both mummies took turns at beeing KOed each half. Only in the first turn of each half were they both on pitch, but for the rest of each half only one were left. Also they both missed their first oportunity to wake up.

Once more a zombie failed to regenerate as, luckily only BH, Xorn became the 4th straight player to miss a regeneration roll on DD.

At least we made some spp point this match, and we are back to only loosing with 1-2. Last match was the first ever where more than 2 TDs were scored against DD, and only the second in which DD did not score.

Lex Liche saved the honor by reducing in the games very last turn and so did also Ra by making his 5th cas of the season (10th in total) and for the first time this season it was worse than BH, as he SI a linerat. Alas only a MNG :/

Also The Green Ghost came of better than his last two matches were he were injured, and had made nothing. This time two completions saw him reach a new level, and his sure hands will be even better from now on.

He was however alone as Eata Corpus missed his newly aged niggling. It ws the first time ever a niggling roll was missed on DD. But sadly it will not be the last,
Hopefully it will be long time before only one Ghoul are ready for a match, now that Mad Max is enlisted.

Finally some crazy commentator choce none other than kicker Brill as MVP eventhough his sole kick was so bad that it gave a touch back. He has now learend block. But for the second time he aged this time -AV along with -MA from the first skill roll.

Our team was simply to weak after last match but also desperate play ruined the game along with bad bad dices. Only good thing to be said is that we earned enough for the new Ghoul, and did not loose any fans.

Hopefully we will be bette off next round, but we have not yet seen the draw for round 5, so keep an eye out for the match calender, and be sure to come and watch DD's next match for the free beer from our sponsor:

Damned Welfs. Death to them all. Our worst defeat ever, even the MVP went to a killed player.

Necromancer Kynde was very displeased with his team and himself after tonights match:
Deadly Doom - Woodwatchers (season XIII, round 3)

We have lost to elf teams a douple of times in the past, but it was only in TD, not also in cas and kills.

And three of our players failed to regenerate one from a kill and one from a niggling, and we lost a Ghoul too.

The team roster is drastically reduced as Conan failed to regenerate after playing in all DD's matches so far, and Devlin Hellgal just died plain and simple.

Much worse was the niggling that Bram Stoker failed to regenerate from, and we have decided that with two injuries he will no longer play on the team. He stays on the roster, thoug, as asisstant coach. He has to try an learn especially our new whight S. Finxter how to guard. Stocker will be missed on pitch!

This could really get in the way of our plans to win this seson commented Kynde, who had not expected the beating to come from the Welfs, rather from the Chaos Dwarfs who took a beating from us last week!

But next week we will take on Headz'n'Tailzz BBC and Skavens... you at least know where you have them. Most of them with AG 3 and without blodge and hence not so likely to just run off not giving our mummies a chance to hit. But alas if we are this poor at inflicting pain against the Tails then we might do just as badly as last night.

But look out for a seriously pissed DD team next Tuesday, and hope to see lots ans lots of dead rats. So be there all fans for the free beer and support our sponsor:

Eata Corpus has become a real BB star! This was anounced on "BB - Dead and Loving it!" this morning after Eata's fabouless game against the mean Chaos Dwarfes of Dominions of Chaos.

Scoring DD's two TDs thus winning the match, and really running around and leaping like a real Wardancer. Actually he now seems to have worked himself up from being a mere 70 k Ghoul into a real Green "Wardancer" well worth 120 k (and much more worth to DD!)

However, after playing in 22 straight matches for DD (All DD's matches!) he finally stumbled in the very last turn in this last match, failing to score for 3-1. But although at first it did not seem he was injured, he actually strained his wrist quite badly in the fall. Maybe he is a little worn out at last?

When fit, he will leap, run, dodge, block and do it with great agility, but although this is very nice he may from time to time miss a match or two due to this strained wrist.

But we really hope he will be ready for our next match against or old "friends" Woodwatchers, when he finally seems to have come to an equal fotting with the wardancers. And this will also be the last Welf match of our group matches.

So be there for some Welf bashing and Ghoul leaping for the free beer from our Sponsers:

This time it was personal, as DD for the first time got the better of a Chaos Dwarf (CD) team!

In a match were DD was never behind in any way, they finally got over their CD complex and beat up DC :D
Dominions of Chaos - Deadly Doom (season XIII, round 2)

But the last two times CD was engaged we came out of it terribly, especially in our 3rd match ever:
Deadly Doom - Hashhutz Nutz (season XI, round 3), were we lost a mummy to a nigling, and so far it is also the only match were we did not score at least one TD.

But also last seasons 2nd match was bad:
Zhatan's Disciples - Deadly Doom (season XII, round 2)
although we did not loose any important players this time round.

But last night was also more than just beating up CD. We also beat Necromancer Kynde's old BB enemy Hobgoblin Alex Spæd :P

As one of the reasons Kynde joined BB was to get a chance to beat him, the match was very nerve wrecking for him, especially with the bad CD stats of DD. But 3rd time was the lucky one, and DD prevailed.

As you can read in the match report, DD was really on top of the game all along, both having a 2-0 lead at one time, and a 11 vs 8 players on pitch advantage.
Furthermore a blitz and an interception (the first ever on DD) by Lex Liche of course helped alot.

Finally we almost collected a bounty, when killer mummy Ramses the 5th made his 5th kill in only 14 cas on Dingu but he was sadly healed and the 20 k is still out there for you to get. (Bad day for Dingu as he was the one to be intercepted as well).

Ramses the 5th is 3rd on the active players killing list!

And our fans loved the match, and for the first time we gained new fans against CD (no wonder :P) and still sports the highest FF in the league with 15. But of course the fans love it, when they once more get a chance at the ref (7th time DDs fans get the ref in 22 matches out of 8 gotten refs).

Next week DD will get another chance at bashing Welfs, when we meet the very team that we smashed up back in our very first match :D
Deadly Doom - Woodwatchers (season XI, round 1).

So be there to see a Wardancer zombie and for the free beer, and thus support our sponsors:

Elf bashing time again, and we love it.

Deadly Doom has been so lucky as to get into the uper bracket group B filled with Elves and Skaven (almost like elves to us with AV 7). And already in the first match did we get a chance to meat our old enemies Sindarin Lords, who as always fails to have any players on pitch for the last few turns before we score for 2-1.

Read more about it here:
Sindarin Lords - Deadly Doom (season XIII, round 1)

Sadly, however, this time they had hired a dirty player to foul The Green Ghost and with a smashed hand our top Ghoul must miss next match, and will be the only niggling player on the team.

We are thankfull to our fans who exacted vengance for us, when they invaded the elf pitch, and amongst other SI the fouler Elmo of Doriath.

We are on the other hand very pleased with our two mummies. First of all Ra who picked it up where he left it. After not making a casualty in his first 6 games last season he made 5 in the last 5 matches. And yesterday he made 3 more in a single game. The first block of the season was even on a treeman who was then BH. After this he has now grown as strong as a tree :D

Alas he only made 3 BH ... we prefeer killing elfs ;)

However, our oldest mummy did something much more fantastic when he scored the winning TD after reciving a touch back when the elves were invaded. So now Ramses the 5th is tied topscorer on DD for the season together with sonn to be star ghoul Eata Corpus who made a very delicate move to score the first TD at the end of first half to tie the game.

By scoring the TD Ramses the 5th learned how to Break Tackle. This goes well with his Stand Firm.

But the comentators must have been very focused on the beatiful kicking by Brill as he was elected MVP for the match.

All in all we would like to dedicate this match to our fans, who both threw a rock and invaded the pitch (6 down), although we would have liked them to take out the ref as well, after he let the mean fouler get away with his dirty tricks.

And again the number of fans increases amming DD the most popular team in the league. This is probably also due to the fact that our sponsors provide a free bear for all DD fans that show up to our matches.

So be there next time and support DD and our sponsors by drinking: Akse, Damned beer.

Aug. 28th, 2004
DD is well prepared for the infamous 13th season of Aros BB league.

During the off season break practice has been intensified and more team spirit has been aquired this way.

"The team seams to be working better together than at the end of last season" commented Necomancer Kynde, "and although it is not quite obvious yet, several players seem to be just on the verge of obtaining new and, maybe together with the extra team training, match winning skills."

This goes for both of the teams mummies Ramses the 5th and Ra, as well as for the best wight Bram Stoker and ghoul The Green Ghost. Even the teams emergin star Eata Corpus looks ready to become a star within a few matches. It looks good!

With a 3rd place last season and a better team than ever, only severe injuries to the team can stop us from going all the way this season.

13 is Kynde's lucky number and after this season there will be yet another reason to stick with it.

So be there for the seasoning opening tuesday September 7th when we kick the season off and our sponsors will provide a free beer for all DDs fans (an expensive task as we are the most popular team in the league before the season starts).

Remeber that and support our sponsors by drinking: Akse, DamneD beer!

Wierd Warcon Wild things.

Althogh we had promissed not to write any more before next seson, this could of course not stop us when we found that some Rat coach was misusing the name Kynde in a small off-season tournament here in Århus this weekend: Warcon.

Necromancer Kynde was there to find out what this rat was doing, and althugh disgusted by the filthy rat he became quite interested in the team Skavengers who in the end (definately due to foul play) became third in the tournament (out of 12).

The winning team was another Skaven team "Olympiagros" coached by the twin brother (1 of 27 "twins") of The Snails's head coach McSnail, who after beating Skavengers in the semi-final, went on to beat the Orc team Badland Wild Boars. (There were some roumors that the reason they lost was that their coach was a dark elf in disguise, but at least they managed better than Death Extravagante did in Aros this season...).

Skavengers took 3rd place by beating the Dwarf team Warmongers 4-1, (coached by the brother of Stone Curve's head coach).

But this is just the final standing. What interested Necromancer Kynde was the wierd wild things going on for this Skaven team.

First of all they became fair play team, making only 15 cas in 13 matches. This is not the Skaven way normally as the winning Skaven team proved by making most cas in total.

The most deadly team, the Orcs, made one kill pr. match almost as many as Skavengers made cas pr. match!

But Skavengers was truely a fair play team, cause all 15 casualties made by the skaven team came out as only BH! (15 times without 4+!)

What was even more amazing was the fact that although 33 cas was inflicted on the team itself not a single permanent injury managed to hit any of the 8 positional players on the team, and both kills and a -St to a Vermin was healed by an apotech who never failed! (Only 2 kills in a total of 48 cas! 48/6 = 8 would be average).

Only 3 nigglings and a -Ag hit the line rats, and then an aging niggling to a gutter runner was the only other injury suffered of the team.

Another "funny" thing was that the team managed to loose the kick-off dice rolls 11 times in a row in the normal matches and then win it both times in the last two games. That is another 11 times less than 4+ (or heads when flipping the coin for tails (i.e. Headz'n'Tailzz BBC).

After the final match all players except a retired niggling line rat and a Vermin, had obtained skill on the team. 19 skill in total. Only one aging niggling (who never failed). The team liked the stat and trait, and got 2 St (one used as trait for Leader on a line), 3 AG, 2 MA (one used for Block on Rat Ogre) and 2 Other traits.

The Gutter runnes had 1, 2, 3 and 3 skills. And they had taken one each of the follwing +St, double 1 = Dauntless, +Ag and + MA.

The +MA came first and he was turned into a type of one turner (made 3) with side step and sure feet on top of MA 10. He became top scorer with 14 TD in 13 games. This also made Skavengers the most scoring team with 28, tieing the winners Olympiagros.

They could have made it 29th in the last match before the semi-final against the flings Pølsevogspatruljen (who actaully managed to beat the later Champions Olympiagros 2-0! The winners also lost to the 3rd last team and then only to one of the strong teams - a Necromantic team - but else they never lost to any of the tough teams. Wierd!)

The way this 29th TD could have been made, would have been in the famous ZERO turn TD, which is made after the blitz move ends when the ball ends up in the EZ. Usually this is only something a fling/gobo/Orc team can do with TTM, and teams with players that move 11 or have MA 10 and sprint. But Skavengers got to within an inch of doing it with a MA 10 side stepper.

The one turner was placed at LoS, the ball placed in the EZ, a blitz 10 was rolled, a 1 was rolled for scatter, and kick made it a zero, so the ball would actually come down in the EZ. A fling stadning nex to the side stepper on LoS was blitzed into him, so he could side step on to the opposing teams pitch, and then he could with MA 10 and sure feet easily get to stand in the EZ as the bold came down.

But although only a 3 was needed he got the sun in the eye and the ball in the head and it ended up on the ground in the EZ, but as the flings came running in to blitz him he side stepped into the ball and when it bounced to the fling who failed to catch it, then there was anoth 1/8 chance that he would get a 4+ chance to catch it, but the luck and the chances ran out, and Skavengers was cheated for the zero turner, and "only" won 4-1 over the flings.

Tha chance of making the one turner with the setup as it was was, 1/12 on blitz, 1/6 on 1 with kick or 1/4 on scattering along the side line so it was 10/48 = 1/5, then the fling was blitzed with 3 dice after a dodge was made with dodge 35/36 and a push back was possible 26/27 and then two go for it with sure feet 9/10. In the end the thing that failed was a catch on a scattering ball which would have been made 2/3. (This can onlybe re-rolled with catch as it is out of turn, but the flings had anyway stolen all re-rols...)

So the toal possibility that it could work was: 1/12*1/5*35/36*26/27*9/10*2/3 = 1 %
So it was a one when 3 was needed to make a 1-100 event happen. And this was only because the team sat up to do so, and was helped by the flings. Wauw. (1.5 % chance of getting there, and then 66% chance fo making it once there, but no. That would have been the TD of a lifetime of BB! ;) )

On top of the 4 super runners, two AG 4 line rats one of these with Claw and a leader was also obtained.

But the fact is that Skavengers was not supposed to be in the semifinal. But as the head coach of the team that should, was assasinated, (some say they smelled a rat - maybe from Headz'n'Tailzz BBC maybe from Skavengers maybe from Olympiagros?)) and the other three teams between Marys Helte and Skavengers had left the tournament beliving they were out, Skavengers took the semi-final place, lost that, and then managed to get revenge over the Dwarfs Warmongers when taking 3rd place with the 4-1 victory.

Necrmoancer Kynde was very impressed and has been heard mumbling that "we better kill some rats next season. Maybe the Skaven Zombies can teach our team a thing or two about TD scoring?"

Obviously they do not know much about inflicting casualties (and then again, the other Skaven team obviously did, helped a lot by a Rat Ogre with block Claw!)

This will be all from this Warcon tournament, but although they did not drink beer there, then continue to support our sponsor by drinking:
Akse, DamneD beer.

No bad crush for DD this season!

Our top Ghoul Eata Corpus has signed his contract for yet another season, although his fee has increased quite a bit over this season... But Necromancer Kynde is happy to have ensured his participation in season XIII, where DD goes for the Gold.

Now were we have finally taken home the bronce Trophy, we have found that it would look even better over the fire place if it was made of gold.

So the team will be send into hard training in the off season. We have avoided loosing any re-rolls and have even plans of obtaining one more before next season by using lots of money on the teams practice sessions.

Of course we will loose some fans during the break (2 FF points), but as soon as our mummies begins to crush skulls, and our ghouls begin to score those TDs, the fans are bound to return in large numbers for the free beer. So keep on supporting our sponsor by drinking:
Akse, DamneD beer.

PS
This will be all from DD until next season aproaches. Note, however, that all active DD players have had their profiles revised and slightly shortened after the season.

We have a plan for next season, about writing shorter notes, both here on the bulletin board and for the match report. Only time will show if it is a good plan ;)

May 18th, 2004
We have collected lots of statistics on DD after their first two seasons.

There are several curiosities, but as phone books and other interesting informations sheets, this is more intended as a collection of data, than as something you shoul read through. But if you are a fan (of DD or stats) then read on, or else just scan the headlines.

GATE
DD took home the biggest crowds this seasn with 130 k in the 3rd place match, and were also involved in the only other match with more than 100 k with 101 k in their semifinal.

FANS
At the end of the season DD was the most popular team with FF 15 only tied with Death Extravagante. At the begninng of next season they will both be tied on 13 with the champs Silverado Snakeskins. However, the champs need the extra fans from the trophy to tie. (11 + 2)

WINS
DD was the most winning team of the season, sadly they lost to the only team that also won 9 of 11 games. But we must admit that the champs Silverado Snakeskins did a little better than DD as they had one loss only vs two, as their remaining match was a tie.

STREAKS
However we had the longest win streak this season with 7 straight wins, unmatched this season. There were though two other teams to have 7 matches in a row without defeat: Headz'n'Tailzz BBC, The Snails and Woodwatchers plus the champs Silverado Snakeskins even had 8. But their tie(s) came before match 7. These four teams are the only temas to have lost only one match this season. DD lost two! The Champs are still on a streak and have already 6 straight wins to build on for next season.

SCALPS:
We took out the team that as the only team won over the champs, the seasons most leathal team: Headz'n'Tailzz BBC.
We also took two other grand scalps like last seasons champs: Halfdead Clawkillers, and last years 3rd place winners: Death Extravagante.

The only other team we lost to, was Zhatan's Disciples who twice cripled our team to get their two TDs, and they were beaten in the play-offs by the runner ups Dominions of Chaos who were then beaten by the champs (who by the way took last years 2nd place down too.)

NO TIES
DD do, however, not play for a tie. Only once have we tied a match in regular time, and that was the 3rd place game, and since we then went into overtime, we won that match after all. All the 19 other games have been settled in regular time.

HIGHEST WIN RATE
And we have won 15 and only lost 5. A 75 % win percent and 0 % tie 25 % lost.
Even the champs cannot beat this as they only have 66% win, but they are better in the other end with only 17% lost.

TDs SCORED
This season we have made 2.18 TD/game increasing the overall stat from last years 1.44 to 1.85 TD/game. This was amongst other done by scoring 3 TD 4 times compared to only one time last season. Also we have not been held off from scoring since our terrible third match Deadly Doom - Hashhutz Nutz (season XI, round 3) 17 matches ago.
However, it has so far turned out that we have always lost when the opponent makes two TDs. In 4 of our defeats we have lost 1-2 and then 0-2 the only time we failed to score. WE have 6 times won 2-1 our self. But no less than 7 times have we keept the end zone clear wining 1-0, 2-0 and 3-0. We have never made 4 TD in one game, and there have hence never been scored 5 TD in one of our games (as we always loos to 2 TDs!). 4 TD is the max in our two 3-1 victories.

TDs SUFFERED
Last season we let 9 TD (1 TD/game) go in, this season our total average have droped to 0.9 as we also only let 9 TD in, but in two more matches giving us a season average of only 0.81 TD/game.

CASULTIES
Altough we made 34 vs 25 casualties and 4-3 kills it was our team not the opponents who suffered most on the permanent acount. None of the kills we made became permanent, 2 of 3 on our team did. The apotech was kind enough to save most permanent damages worse than MNG.

We did however inflict 2 nigglings in the match against Drakwald Poison Daggers. But appart from that any other SI was only MNG. So we have been nice this year.

INJURIES
This season we have not been quite so lucky with injuries as in first season where one niggling and a kill was all the permanten injuries we suffered. With 2 kills, a niggling, two stat decrease plus an aging the team suffered a bit. However, the niggling was killed, and the team is still free of most injuries.

There have been a lot of replacements on DD. Until the play-offs of XII it was, however, mainly retirering that was the cause of this. 7 players retired (only two due to injury) over the first 1½ season. But then in the play-offs the single permanent kill was tribled.

One of these players had been with DD from the start, it was Zed who managed 17 straight games before dying in the very last turn of that match.

ORIGINAL PLAYERS LEFT
There are still 6 players left from original DD team, of these 5 have played in all 20 matches:
Argos
Conan
Lex Liche
Ramses the 5th and
Eata Corpus

This includes the 2 dirty player skeletons! who have never missed an entire match! Argos have been BH trice, (regenerated only two of them but in the same match). Conan have regenerated both a BH and a SI.

The first wight on the team Lex Liche have only been BH once and he regenerated.

Ramses the 5th have been injured trice - BH twice and KILLED once. He only failed to regenerate the BH in this last match for 3rd place.

And our top Ghoul Eata Corpus have been lucky enough to only get BH the three times he has been injured.

Appart from that the last skeleton Brill is also from the original team, but he has suffered to injuries one BH and one SI. As he have failed to regenerate he missed one match, and has hence only atended 19 matches. His -MA is, however, due to aging.

OTHER CONSISTENT PLAYERS
We also have two players left who already played for DD in their second match.

One of these is the first reanimated zombie Benno Brausekopf II who has also played 19 matches for DD. He has been BH 3 times and SI once, but only failed to regenerate one of the BH.

Finally our top wight Bram Stoker, who was hired after our first match, had played 17 games straight, without suffering even a single BH, when he was SI in the quaterfinal and lost a point of MA. So now he has "only" played 18 games for DD.

ALMOST NO PLAYERS WITHOUT INJURIES
He was at that time the only player left from first season who had not yet suffered an injury. Actually only the newest player on DD Devlin Hellgal who have only played the 3rd place match has not suffered any injuries.

Of the three new players to enter the team at the begninng of this season, only Ra is still on the team, but he has played in all 11 matches only suffering a single BH.

To date the only unharmed player to have retired is Rastafa Elf Basher, who were retired due to his bad habbits of throwing him self down (pilling on are useless for a mummy after the rule change).

SPP ROLLS
DD have had 25 spp rolls so far and have only aged once, but also only made 2 doubles. However, the two 11s and the 10 have hit the right targest with ghouls Eata Corpus and The Green Ghost, and doubles to wight Bram Stoker and mummy Ramses the 5th is also grand. And with only skeleton Brill to age a -MA, and the only other permanent injury left on the team also a -MA to Bram Stoker the team have been pretty blessed with this, having 13 players ready for each match, and only two of them a little slow. But we are still looking forward to our first 12. Maybe it would be Eata Corpus: Ghoul with 8447 Blodge. He is only 3 TD and a 12 away (if he do not retire)

11 rolls first season, 14 the next. Only two matches this season has not resulted in skill rolls. And that was the quater final and the 3rd place match.

COMMING SPP ROLLS
Next season looks very promissing skill wise.
We have been so lucky/skilled to line up 3 players with 29 spp, just on the edge of emerging as stars, but without even contemplatinig to retire yet. And what a list. One mummy, one Wight and one Ghoul:
Ramses the 5th
Bram Stoker and
The Green Ghost

Also our emerging star Eata Corpus will soon become a star if he chooses to stay on the team. With 43 spp he is not even 3 TDs away from stardom.

Finally newest mummy finally got arond to doing some damage, as he made 5 cas in the last 5 matches after making zero the first 6. With 15 spp Ra is soon to be a veteran.

Appart form that our new ghoul Devlin Hellgal should not take long to learn his first skill, and Geleb Reanimated is only 2 spp away from obtaining his first skill to. The only remaining rookie player to have entered the team in season XI.

So the next 7 skill roll do not seem far away.

If you have read all this, you must be a fan, så tell me how many skill rolls I have had so far, and our sponsor will surely award you with a free beer.
See you next season for more free: Akse, DamneD beer.

Chearleaders join Deadly Doom after the fantastic 3rd place match!

After the game, two exited High Elf cheerleaders from the now retired Die Haubtabteilung came up to Necromancer Kynde, and told how much they had enjoyed to see the Darkies get the Sh*t kicked out of them. They had also been closely following the progress of former high elf player, reanimated zombie Benno Brausekopf II who joined DD after their only 2nd match against the poor high elf team.

So Kynde invited the two lovely ladies to join in on DD's pay roll as chearleaders, and the two stupid blonde but beatifull elfies will now be leading the cheering from next season.

It was never really Kyndes intention to have professionel chearleaderes on the team, and he had already turned down several proposals from other chealeaders who wished to join the most popular team in Aros BBL. Especially some of the bunnies from Blood Bowl Bunnies had hoped for a way to get off pitch again. But they were turned down and will have to fight yet another season for this loosing elf team :D

But after taking 3rd place hirering chearleaders seemed like the right thing to do. Furthermore Kynde eyed a chance to seriously annoy any elf team, when they find out that the mean Undeads are cheared on by the two lovely High Elf ladies:
Pussy Galore and Xenia Onatopp.

Join them and DD next seson for free sponsor beer from:

Taking 3rd place and killing elfs again!

In the consolation match
Deadly Doom - Death Extravagante (season XII, 3rd place), we got our revenge on the Darkies who cheated us in last seasons playoff and killed Rigor Mortis.

This year we took their 3rd place away.

Bram Stoker even killed a witch, but she was sadly healed by the apotech.

Our two top Ghouls The Green Ghost and Eata Corpus scored one TD each, with Eata Corpus making the winning TD in overtime. But that was first after he had performed the worst play ever in DD's history.

In first half he positioned himself so badly, that he was pushed into Ramses the 5th who was so suprised at being "attacked" by his own teammate, that he forgot to stand firm and was pushed into a crowd BH. He was so shocked he even failed to regenerate for the first time, and missed the remaing game.

Eata Corpus was then even pushed out himself, but made up for it by comming back to win the game.

In the end Lex Liche saved the day, when he shadowed Candela Bloodmoon and tackled her in her next dodge before she was able to blitz the hole in our defence needed by the elfs to tie the game in their last turn of the overtime.

Ramses the 5th was voted MVP after the game, probably not for this match, although he again managed to dodge into TZs, but for his consistency on DD! He has been playing in all 20 games so far, and eventhough Ra made a casualty, Ramses the 5th became the most violent mummy this year with 6 vs 5 casualties.

It was also about time, as it was his first MVP in 20 tries, and he was the only remaining player from the original team that had yet to wait for an MVP. Ramses the 5th has prommised that from next season he will not allow anyone to push him around like this!

Of course the fans love DD when they are beating elfs, and we have reached and altime high of FF 15. This actually ties the highest FF at the moment which, funnily enough, belongs to the beaten elf team, who lost some of their fans to us.

Seeing that this was the two most popular teams in Aros BBL, it was no suprise that the 3rd place match was much more visited than the finall. 130.000 came to see the game, of course most of them (70k) were from DD, and DD is also the only team to have been involved in the two only matches were the gate has broken 100k this season.

We were going for the gold said Necromancer Kynde, but we had to face how hard a task this was! Since season X were there were teams with two seasons behind them, no team has won after only two seasons. But next year we feel ready with a really strong team. Several of our players are ready to learn new skills in a short wile, and we have the money to improve the teams over all performance.

This is due to the incredibly high gate, which gave us no less than 100k on top of the fact that we win 9*5k = 45 k for 3rd place. 5 k for each game we won, and we are the most winning team this season, only tied with the champions Silverado Snakeskins one of the only two teams to beat us. We only lost our second and our second last match this season.

In total we have a win rate of 75 % over two seasons, and we still have never tied a game. Although this last match was the first to be taken into overtime, meaning we tied in regular play, we still won the game.

Our sponsors would like to thank all our fans for supporting them and the team, so remmember us for next season, when DD will be back and going for the gold. Of course the beers will be free for any DD fan attending the games.

So in the sommer time, keep on drinking:

May 7th, 2004
After a weeks holiday, Necromancer Kynde has collected his witts after the semi-final defeat.

We are now ready to face our enemies from last season in the fight for 3rd place:
Deadly Doom - Death Extravagante (season XII, 3rd place)

What will be most important to us, is to help Astartes get rid of some of his niggling players. 3 kills would satisfy us. On the other hand we would also find it funny to add 2-3 more nigglings to the team. Maybe the 5 remaining niggling players will anyway feel to ill to participate in this consolation match...

We have been forced to enlist a replacement for late (again) Snufitt Wice who was killed last match by The Fifth Elefant. We hold a serious grudge against this elefant!

Anyway back in the pack we now have Devlin Hellgal, who used to be known as Devlin Hellboy, but he/she had to endure a little transformation in order to be ready for BB again, and hence the name change from Hellboy to Hellgal :D

But she will soon become one of the important players in next season when DD WILL take the cup!

Eventhough Necromancer Kynde is very dissapointed (and Count Luthor's participation has been cancled) we will still host the final and our own 3rd place match, exactly in a week from now, May 14th, so be there for a free sponsor beer:

We hate Lizzardz. Death to them all :(

In the semfinal tonight
Silverado Snakeskins - Deadly Doom (season XII, semi-final), it was us who took the beating as 5 of our players went out. But worst of all was it that all three Ghouls were injured before the end of first half, and later also two zombies went that way.

Worst of all was it for Snufitt Wice who will never play BB again. But alast it was his hope to live up to his name and his former idol Rigor Mortis who also managed to SnufitTwice in the first turn of a play-off game last season. (Alraedy dead and then snuf it a sesond time :P )

Luckily for DD the other two AG 4 Ghouls survived the ordeal as they were only BH. One of the zombies will, however, not play the 3/4 match.

Again Count Luthor played well, and scored the first TD of the game, but when he was about to score a tieing TD in the last few turns, a big lizzard named Rex came in his way, and skink Dr. Klawfinger hail-maried the ball out of reach from anyone but Argos. Although Argos had earlier KOed Rex in a foul and made his (and any DD skeleton) first casualty earlier, he only managed to pick the ball up, but the pass was inaccurate, and probably in vain. Count Luthor had been stunned and only two other skeletons could have helped scoring.

But for his great effort Argos was again elected MVP and will now learn a second skill.

It is of course a huge dissapointment said Necromancer Kynde but we faced a superior team, and would have considered it a great acomplishment to win. (Congratulations to the coach, and etearnal damnation to him as well :D).

But we will now face or enemies from last year Death Extravagante in the consolation match, and hence get a chance to revenge Rigor Mortis who died in that unlucky quaterfinal against them last year.

We know they have been beaten up just as well as we, by the other team to make it to the final: Dominions of Chaos - who have suprised everyone by going from fair play team early on, to becoming a finalist. (Also congrat to their coach! :) )

Although we might have enough money for Count Luthor then he should not be bothered to play a consolation match, and we will rather save the money for next season, where we plan to make it just those last few paces extra.

Anyway it should not be hard to beat those puny elves even with one less Ghoul, one less Zombie and one less Vampire :D

Necromancer Kynde will now take a week off going to a nice mediteranean bathing resort, it should be a very Nice place. ;)

Until then over and out from DD, but be there for the 3/4 match and get a free sponosr beer:

DD is now the only Group winner left after the quaterfinals. We will hence be the only team that can win it all ;)

We are also the only team to have won all but one game.

With the departue of the group winners from group A, B and D there are no longer any undefeated teams this season, and we are the team that have been undefeated the longest. And the only other team left with only one defeat Silverado Snakeskins also have a tie.

Tieing games is something that DD never does! We beat em or it doesn't matter. We do not collect ties. (Which is also why we only have the utter disrespect for teams like Greyhavien Renegades - the tieing kings - with almost 40% ties. A rate which even "ties" their loss record! We had to let them win last season in order to avoid the else sure tie. As it was a match of no importance to us, not tieing was more important than not loosing.)

The good thing about play-offs is there will be no ties, nevertheless we have so far never even been in overtime, so it is really in regular time that we do not take a tie in to coinsideration as a possibillity!

So after we have won this season, we will have 20 games without a single tie (and 80% win!)

We will also begin to threathen the all time longest win streaks on 13 matches in a row made by Bad Moon Provorcs back in the early days of Aros. We will reach 9 straight wins after the final!

So be there tomorrow at Deadly Dooms stadium where the semifinals will take place simultaneously

Beating the Champions on the way to become Champions.

Never have Halfdead Clawkillers suffered such a beating as when the DD train ran them completely over in first half of: Deadly Doom - Halfdead Clawkillers (season XII, 1/4-final)

Already from the start did Ra show that he finally have found the right DD mummy spirit, and when Ramses the 5th realized that he was now only tied on casualty he made his own cas in the very same turn.

This was his first since round 3, and we were a little disapointed that it was not a kill. This was his tenth cas and a kill would have given him a 50% kill rate. It was belived that he waited with the 10th till he could be sure of a kill! But now that his position as first mummy on DD was threatened he finally began the cas making again.

This did, however, not stop Ra from making one more cas, drawing back tied on 4-4 in cas for the two mummies this season. First time a mummy makes two cas in one game since Cheops the Great began with this in his and DD's first match ever.

Also both our reanimated zombies Benno Brausekopf II and Geleb Reanimated made their second casualties. Geleb Reanimated might be the first zombie to make it to a skill without an MVP? Extra fun was it as Geleb Reanimated is raised from the Chaos team Tainted Rams, and he did it to revenge former high elf Benno Brausekopf II who was BH the turn before Geleb Reanimated made his cas.

Again Count Luthor proved worthy of his fee when he made one of the six casualties, as well as a completion and a push out. Also he had the ball in all three drives giving it eventually to a Ghoul so they could score the TDs. Count Luthor has promissed that he will play in the semifinals, and hope he can make it for the finals too. It seems very likely especially as he is very flattered for being elected MVP in the match.

Eata Corpus steped back today, and The Green Ghost both made his first completion, and then returned to the form of scoring every match. He was only the second to make a completion on DD.

But he was soon followed by AG 3 Snufitt Wice who had the match of his carier. He also made two TDs: First the "winning" for 2-0 and then after passing to the count, getting it back, and then getting up from a knock over to dodge and pick up to make the defeat of the Killers total. Maybe he can live up to his more agile teammates next season. (And for the first time DD made more than one completion in one match).

On a more sad note another player to have lasted 17 matches in a row (like Zed but even without a single casualty inflicted on him) suffered a fractured ankle. It was top wight Bram Stoker who was downed (along with Lex Liche in a double block) by Svin Blood. his guarding and tackling skills will be much missed in the semifinal, and his lack of speed can become a problem in later matches. But as he saiid, he could do with the rest, and he is sure his teammates can make it to the finals without him, and then he will be back to help them. (At least he did not get a niggling, but to bad about this failing regeneration.)

Necromancer Kynde has though stated that he is ready to put some bounties on the players he keeps grudge against. He will use some of the money the team wins after the final (150 k for 10 won matches!). Espcially Svin Blood and also the Zed killer Hanzz can expect to find a fee if they play next season!

This is the first match this season after which no DD players learned any new skills, but several have moved within an MVP or less from the next one, so next season can begin with a sprout of new skills, if they not alreday make it in the semifinal and final.

After beating up last seasons champions as well as the top seeded Headz'n'Tailzz BBC last game, we fell secure that we can and will go all the way, at least if the count is with us.

Maybe we will even host the semifinals and finals, so our fans will probably take good advantage of this and kill the ref again (as they have alrady done 5 times this season) and - as in this last match - for the first time directly invade the pitch :D

Come along for the next game for more free beer (no new fans this time?) and see us beat up the poor opponents.

Apr. 26th, 2004
Before tomorrows quaterfinals we note that from the lower brachets, it was only the two winners - The Snails and us, that made it throught the first round of the play-offs.

The only group winner not to make it through, was of course Headz'n'Tailzz BBC after their "supprising" upset to DD :D

After our last two Skaven matches we are looking forward to meeting yet another Skaven team, and hence hope to meet The Snails in the finals. In that case we would seem secured to go on as season winners.

Although The Snails is by far the most succesful team over the last two-three seasons, they seem to be cursed, and forever doomed to end up with "only" second places.

Since we expect to win, and since The Snails will take 2nd place again, we will of course meet them in the final ;)

We are by the way pleased to see 3 elf teams left, and hope to get yet another chance to do some elf bashing. Hasn't been too god this season with only two elf encounters vs. 6 last season...

So be there tomorrow, and support our sponsors by drinking: Akse, DamneD beer.

Quterfinals here we come! The rats was only KOed, but in the end only 3 was on pitch when Count Luthor scored the winning TD in
Deadly Doom - Headz'n'Tailzz (season XII, 1/8-final)

Necromancer Kynde's old friend Count Luthor was a key part to our victory.

He stayed on foot when the dangerous rat wizzard took out three other so the rats could blitz ball carier Eata Corpus and get the ball. He then retrived the ball and passed it to Eata Corpus who thus tied the game in first half. In this way we rendered the wizzards effort useless, and that was a great relief. He is thus also the only other player than Eata Corpus to have made a completion for DD.

In second half it was hence easy to keep the ball in a cage in the hands of Count Luthor, while Ra cleared the way with his only second casualty ever, both have been against rats, and two more KOs.
Ramses the 5th was, however, embaressed by being KOed by a gutter runner, missing the entire second half, but he will take revenge in the quaterfinal.

In the end Count Luthor made the winning TD, and he hampered the rats last turn effort by using DD's blitz to catch the ball.

We was also pleased to anounce that among our many fans we had invited a special guest on to the pitch, as a mummy fan was allowed to play with DD for this match. Although unskilled, he kept the rat ogre Tearr A'Parte in check during the first half, before Count Luthor pushed him off pitch in second half. (Yet another important move by the vampire!)

In the midst of all this celebration (we even got more fans, for the forth time in a row) we have to mourn the loss of one of the teams most consisting players Zed the Zombie, who began the celebration of the victory a second too soon, and was then killed by Hanzz!

Zed had played in all 17 of DD's matches and only been BH twice. But in all three occasion his regeneration failed, and this time it was fatal.
Zed was decapitated by the claws on Hanzz. If this mean vermin plays in the next season, he can be sure we will put down a bounty on his head. So he can feal how it is to be Zed.

Technically Zed is of course not dead, he is still undead, but unable to play BB. Alas we will bring his head to the last three games so he can see DD win the season, before Necromancer Kynde will make him a real dead corpse, and let him rest for ever after his short but for a zombie glorious BB carier.

And although he cannot drink any beer, there will be a free beer for all DD fans that show up to see us make our way to the semifinals.

Tonight we will kill more rats as we play our delayed 1/8 final against Headz'n'Tailzz BBC:
Deadly Doom - Headz'n'Tailzz (season XII, 1/8-final)

We are looking very much forward to add Squik A'lot to our team as a new zombie (Squick No'More) and even more importantly to collect the 50 k bounty put out for the team who ends this misserable, but fast, rats life. (We could then even get back our own 10 k of the lot).

This could mean that we are ensured enough money to afford that the vampire lord plays for us all the way to the final.

Some sources has Headz'n'Tailzz BBC as the favourite at 6-1 for winning this season, putting us all the way down at 9-1, but at least we can put an end to the hope for the rats tonight.

Anyway there are already another rat team in the quaterfinal: The Snails! And with the very nice spread of races in the quaterfinal the last of the eight will surely be an undead team, and that will be DD.

So be there and support our sponsors by drinking:

Killing rats and winning Group C.

DD has really been on a stroll since round 3, winning 5 matches in a row, to claim the top position of Group C.
This was finally secured by our 3-1 win over the rats:
Deadly Doom - Drakwald Poison Daggers (season XII, round 7)

Finally we got back in the habit of making casaulties, 4 og the 5 was inflicted by our own players, and at last Ra managed to get block by making his first casualty in 7 rounds...

With only 3 BH the other way, two of wich regenerated, and the last on Eata Corpus in the second last turn, DD had a full team most of the way, and will not be needing the help of removing any MNG before the round of 16.

We are ready for any team, said Necromancer Kynde, especially since my old friend Count von Drakenbourgh has promissed to play at least the next two matches with us. We hope to convince him to also join us in the semifinal. With him at our sides, we are almost certain to make it to the finals. It is, however, uncertain if the Count can make it there as well? But we will manage without him then.

Two of our players had an espicailly good match.

Bram Stoker both inflicted a casualty and made the final turn TD for 3-1.

But even better was it for Eata Corpus who first had a pushout KO, and in the last turn of first half he both killed a Storm Vermin and scored the TD for 1-1. As if it was not enough he even made his and DD's fourth completion in second half. But it could have turned to nasty as he was BH in the end of the match, but he has assured me he will be ready for the play-off.

Finally it also seems to have paid of with all the free beer, as our fans have increased 3 times in a row, and 4 times since last decrease, reaching an all time maximum of 13 here before the play-off.

So be there for the play-off when we will crush any opponent, and hand out free beers to any DD fan.

Hence remember to support our sponsors, by drinking: Akse, DamneD beer

DD is in the play-off by beating not bashing elfs.

For the third match in a row DD's mummies failed to make any casualties. Ramses the 5th only made two KOs, and Ra still have to make his first casualty after 6 games!

But the Ghouls makes the TD, and the fans love it, as we for the first time have increased the number of fans two times in a row to get to 12 in FF after beating the bunnies 3-0 in the match:
Blood Bowl Bunnies - Deadly Doom (season XII, round 6)

Match winner was now emerging star Eata Corpus who scored the first and the last TD, and passed his and DD's 3rd completion to The Green Ghost who then made the second TD.

Eata Corpus now emulates one of the greatest Ghouls in the history of Aros, as he is now just as fast and agile as the legend Styff Pain.

A zombie saved the day for DD when Benno Brausekopf II made DD's only casualty and he has now learned block. The first of the two zombies raised onto DD, to learn new skills after he died.

Most important for the day is, however, that DD has now secured a spot in the round of 16 in the play-off. "We still have to beat those dirty rats of Drakwald Poison Daggers, but even if they make more TDs than us, we will make them bleed" says the coach.

It is, however, not likely that they will make more TDs than DD. We have a very nice TD count of 13-4, and 3 times this season have we kept our end zone clean, just as today. We never expected to avoid any TD's from a team like Blood Bowl Bunnies but the ball just did not want to listen to those girls today. We are actually the first to stop them from getting any TDs this season!

With the place in the play-off secured, DD has now got a promisse from Count von Drakenbourgh that he will join the team for at least the first two games in the play-offs.
"We are looking forward to have my old friend playing on the team" said a happy Necromancer Kynde, as he drifted off to celebrate the win.

At last it seems to pay off with the sponsor beers, so stay tuned until next match, and join us then for a free beer, and support our sponsor by drinking:
Akse, DamneD beer.

Bitter sweat victory for DD, as newest blodging Ghoul Snufitt Wice damaged his back and obtained the teams only second niggling. But this time we plan to keep him as opposed to the mummy Cheops the Great, as we just could not risk have a mummy miss a match due to niggling. So in round 7 DD will for the first time have to roll for a niggling after 15 matches without.

Apart from that it was also a hard won victory, as both our TDs came in the last turn of each half, and never seemed sure, as can be read about here:
Deadly Doom - Bloodfist Bowlers (season XII, round 5)

The other two Ghouls Eata Corpus and The Green Ghost did very well, and was both involved in both TDs and scored one each. The Green Ghost was also elected MVP for scoring the winning TD and has with all this experience already learned block after only his second apperance, and we will still have two blodging ghouls for next match.

Appart from that we must admit that we are pretty disapointed by the team. Only 3 KOs, and the only KILL came from dirty player Argos’ only foul. Only one cause he KOed himself in a failed go for it to foul in first half!
For the second match running we only made any casualties on fouls, Argos’ have three fouls and then one by a zombie. And to think that the much celebrated “new” mummye Ra has played 5 matches without a casualty is depressing. And now he seems to influence old Ramses the 5th who went from 3 cas in three games (one kill), to only 2 and 1 KO in the last two games.

The only theory Necromancer Kynde has about this inefficiency of his two mummies, is that they are longing for the good old Elf bashing. AV 7 is such a fun thin to those mighty blow players. And now they have also found that, besides the tender elf Blood Bowl Bunnies, there is also a Skaven team to beat up. This is even better, cause most of those players do not have AG 4 to dodge away from the mummies. We are looking very much forward to these two remaining matches were we once again expect to reach at least the 5 casualty limit as we haven’t done since the round 1 match against the Welfs:
Deadly Doom - Sindarin Lords (season XII, round 1).

Then finally we expect Ra to learn some new skills.

With the victory over Bloodfist Bowlers we have now moved very close to the play-offs. We only need one more victory, and even a single tie might do it, especially if it is against the Skaven Drakwald Poison Daggers. We do of course expect to win, as they will not have many players left on pitch at the end, but we have been surprised a few times, mainly by Chaos Dwarfs though, and hence take nothing for granted till the game is won.

A good news is, however, that the fan loved the intence match, and for the first time we have increased our FF above 10. Although are economy is pressed after only earning 20 k in the last match, we can, however, still rely on our sponsors to hand out free beer at the next match, were the fans can expect the blood to flow! And since we do not have any blood in our cold bodies, you all know from where the blood will run :D

So be there and support our sponsors by drinking: Akse, DamneD beer.

Deadly Doom came out on top of the mummy match of all times in Aros, first time with 6 mummies on pitch at the same time!

But only for a short time, as Ramses the 5th took his tool on the poor Khemri mummies KOing two himself, and even helping Argos foul his grandfather Ramses 3 - Pharaoh SI (although he did regenerate.)

With 3-0 result the match:
Reign of Seth - Deadly Doom (season XII, round 4)
was the best ever for DD, with 2-0 twice and 3-1 once as the previous best TD matches.

On the other hand only the refs blind eye gave us any casualties, as the mummies and the other players did not really wish to do worse than KO the fellow undead players. 6 vs 1 KO was the score, with 3-3 in cas, where the Khemri mummies made the cas themselves. But all MNG players regenerated on both teams.

Eata Corpus had one of the great games here right after someone has put a 20 k bounty on his head!
1) He handed off for Lex Liche's TD to 1-0.
2) He fouled one and blitzed the other Blitz-Ra KOed within 3 turns.
3) Then he made his and DD's only second completion to The Green Ghost our new Ghoul, who then could score to 2-0. And
4) finally he was at the right position, when Snufitt Wice made a fantastic move to get the ball to him, and then Eata Corpus could sign of this fantastic match with a 3-0 TD.

Lex Liche has with his TD learned to shadow his opponenets when they try to dodge, and with tackle too, this can be nasty.

And then one of our old skellies Brill has been feeling a little bit older, and slower after this match. However, in the same process he has learned to kick the ball better, so he will be saved for all the drives we kick off.

And finally we have broken the rythm, with only the second match after wich our fans has remained unchanged.

So there will be even more beer for our next match, against those Chaos thingies next Tuesday.

So be there, drink lots of beers, and support our sponsor: Akse, DamneD beer.

We are back in the track, and killing orcs seems to be another thing we can do. Ramses the 5th has killed one in both encounters with those ugly green things, although both has been healed so we lack the green zombie :D

The match may seem to have gone our way by the result 2-0:
Gruesome Grinders - Deadly Doom (season XII, round 3)
But as you can read there, it was never a given victory as the Orcs had a decent chance to make a tie late in second half, which would have made it hard for DD to get to 2-1. But the team finally made a fantastic move in turn 6, when new zombie Xorn SI a line orc, Eata Corpus pushed out the ball carier, Ramses the 5th killed the other line orc, and Bram Stoker picked up the thrown in ball, and ran it for a TD two turns later.

That must have been the turn of the match, when you make two cas on AV 9 orcs, even without Ramses the 5th using his mighty blow, and Bram Stoker learned his second skill by the TD he made.

And what a skill for a wight, he aquired the long sought for Guard skill, and will even be a greater asset for DD from now on :D

Also Lex Liche made a TD early as Eata Corpus showed different spirit than late Rigor Mortis by handing off the ball instad of making the TD himself, and before in that same turn Bram Stoker BH the Orcs little Gobo. So there was two very good turns for DD. The rest mainly consisted of using re-rolls on failed go for it. Those mummies need sure feet or MA 4. But Stand Firm (on double 5) still seem the right choice for Ramses the 5th. It served us well this match.

The treasury came up with 70k exactly enough for getting The Green Ghost ready as a replacement for the retired Ghoul Devlin Hellboy, so we can keep the 30 k left over from previous match.

The treasurry is from now on expected to be saved up in order to pay the expences of Necromancer Kynde's OLD friend Count Luthor von Drackenbourg. He has, as in last season, accepted to come and play for DD in the play-offs at only 90 k per game...

As a new feature for our fans, the Count, has posed with Necromancer Kynde for a photo sesion, and below (at the end of this page) you can see the result of this, or go to this link. It is me on the left ;)

Again the DD fans kept fluctuating as new came to. So far in 12 matches the only time the FF have remained the same has been in the quaterfinal. In all other matches it has changed, never going up twice in a row, and also only down twice in a row once.
DD's FF has looked like this so far: 9, 10, 9, 8, 9, 8, 9, 8, 9, 9, 10, 9, 10.

This game was also the first where the fans did not leave us when we played other teams than Wood and Dark Elf. Even High Elf was not god enough for the fans, and all other matches we have gone down. One Dark Elf match was the quater final the only one where the FF remained unchanged, and one of the Wood Elf match we lost but gained fans nevertheless. But now this should be broken as we now got fans from beating Orcs too.

So far starting with FF 9 has paid off. Cause the two times we have had a FF roll with the -1 modifier from FF 10, the roll has been a 1, thus making that indifferent. This also means that if we had begun with a FF of 2 then we would now only have 3, expect of course that loosing all the bad kick-off rolls and earning 10-20 k less per game would have been disasterous, and probably have left us with FF 1 by know and a much worse team. So if anyone is in doubt FF 9 is essential to being with.

But we hope to break the ryhtm and gain fans also at the next match, so again our sponsors will like to offer free beer.

So support them by drinking: Akse DamneD beer!

Wow, was that just a Chaos Dwarf train that hit us there?

For the second time in two, a match
Zhatan's Disciples - Deadly Doom (season XII, round 2)
against Chaos Dwarfes evolved into a slaughtering of DD.

The situation closely resembled the situation in the first match against these unholy Chaos Dwarfs back in the match:
Deadly Doom - Hashhutz Nutz (season XI, round 3)

Both times Necromancer Kynde had been away on bussiness travels for a week, dealying the match, and had plenty of time to worry/think about what to do with these Dwarfes. And both time the Dwarfes recieves and begins by removing two DD players from the pitch in their first turn, only to continue removing players for the next 4 turns, scoring in the fifth turn. In the first match only 4 DD players was left on pitch (one thrown out be the ref) this time it was 6.

Also both times a mummy took a bad beating, and both mummies went out once. First time Cheops the Great retired after the match when he failed to regerenate a niggling, but this time we are very happy that Ramses the 5th regenereated from a KILL. We had our scare there :/ waiting for 3 turns to see him roll 6 for regnerate :D

Great for him he then continued to make the sole cas, a BH Hobgoblin, at the end of the match, and has now learned to Stand Firm. He will no longer accept this pushing around!

The great thing about this match was that appart from Ramses the 5th regenerating then 3 KO came back for second drive, and only Brill failed to regenerate and must miss the next game. And with 11 players this gave Snufitt Wice a chance to tie the game scoring his second TD and giving him the much sought for Blodge combo.

But eventhoug DD recived and had 11 players on pitch, it only took 1 turn then they were 8 with 2 BH and a KO, and then lost possesion of the ball. And in the end the Bull Keltharos who "killed" Ramses the 5th made his second TD for 2-1.

But it was so close to a tie. Cause the unexpected happened. Eata Corpus made the FIRST completion ever for DD, when Lex Liche catched the ball, but he sadly managed to fall before the LoS as we had no more re-rolls left due to an IP call at the beginning of first half. It was clearly a shaken Necromancer Kynde who saw this tie slip away due to his own bad mistake.

But with two blodgers and a block Stand firm mummy, the team looks ahead to the next match
Gruesome Grinders - Deadly Doom (season XII, round 3)
were they expect to beat up some Orcs. Those we at least know we can beat, said the shaken Necromancer after the game.

Also the rookie mummy Ra might soon learn some better blocking, as he for some strange reason (bribery maybe ;) ) got he MVP for doing nothing, even failing to regenerate a BH from the beginning of second half!

Sadly a player without regenerate will now only be among the assistant coahces, as Devlin Hellboy fell on a go for it (same faith as Rigor Mortis). Although he did not get killed, he broke his neck, and would probalby never have regained his formere agility, and hence was taken of the roster as active player. Only two matches did he play. As a replacement was to expensive we dusted of the zombie Xorn from the X-pile of Necroamncer Kyndes zombies.
We had not expected to use my zombies again, but lack of killing from Ramses the 5th who only made his second BH of the season (3 kills of 6 cas last season!) leaves us no other choice than to prepare one of my own.

Of course the fans left DD after such a poor match. But we will rice agian, so join us for the next match, when there as always will be a free beer from our sponsor, as we prepare scrambled Orcs!

And continue the support of our sponsor by drinking: Akse DamneD beer!

Deadly Doom can beat the elfs again! :D

After two dissapointing matches in the end of last season, DD is back on track and wins again over a wood elf team and for the second time over Sindarin Lords, here in the first round of season XII:
Deadly Doom - Sindarin Lords (season XII, round 1)

And again DD begins the season by getting into the lead of Group C by beating a Wood Elf team just like last season!

We have been practicing hard during the season break, and now it seems as we can harvest the fruits from all our hard work, as Eata Corpus finally seems to be learning the way of the blocking, and also the team in general just seem to be able to re-roll a few more dice per match.

As expected we could not stop the Welfs from scoring in turn 2, although we did get their thrower down, but not injured, and the pass was made for the TD for 1-0 in turn 2.

But then the wights began removing elfs from the pitch, and so did the dirty skeleton Argos. Both wardancers where out for the rest of the match midway through first half. Nevertheless our top Ghoul Eata Corpus who expected to score for 1-1 in first half was surprised to see an elf dodging into his cage and getting him down, precicely because he had not yet mastered the blocking fully.

But luckily he was only stunned, and Snufitt Wice graped the ball and tied the score. Nice to see the new Ghoul with no. 14 (Rigor Mortis’s old number) falling in place on the team so soon.

In second half the elfs was simply removed from the pitch, and the tree was lying on the ground most of the half, and hence it was easy for Eata Corpus to fulfill his destiny by scoring the winning TD in the last turn, and hence finally learn the blocking he has been practicing for so hard.

The Mummies performance was rather dissapoiting, although the tree came down, and they made a KO each, and Ra pushed the thrower out. But in the last turn Ramses the 5th woke up and BH an elf, and it should not take long now before he learns something new, like multiple block.

The fans as always loves it when we play Welfs, four times out of four has they increased in numbers when playing them, even the one time we lost (Grrrr :/). Against other teams we only had this succes once, whereas four out of the five remaining matches has seen us loose the fans. This is only the second time we got it to FF 10, although starting with 9 and winning 7 of 10 matches…

But to keep the fans happy we will continue to upkeep the promisse from our sponsor and ensure there will be a free beer for every DD fan that comes to our next match.

With the "new" mummy Ra to back up the more BB experienced mymmy Ramses the 5th on the pitch, this season will be the season of the mummies.

And we are not just talking about the mummies on DD. The even more season mummies King Semerkhet and Prince Rahektep from Reapers In Place will also take their share of killiing and mayheim on the blood bowl field.

But although we did loose the company of the two mummies from Cold Blood BBC, where especially BrickWall did well (compared to RockSteady), then there will still be more mummies this season than the last.

We warmley welcome the company of the three mummies on the Khemri team Reign of Seth. Already beginning with three they more than makes up for the loss of the two others, and there is promisse of yet a fourth mummy joining the team later in the season.

So from DD and their sponsor there goes aot a warm welcome to the three new mummies in Aros, both to Seth - Inkarnation and Ankh Ramon - High Seer. But especially to Ramses 3 - Pharaoh, with a special greeting from his grand soon Ramses the 5th, who is pleased to have a chance to play BB in the same league as his famous grand father.

Greetings to all mummy fans, be sure to watch when the mighty blows will be handed out sevenfold next week when the league comenses.

As always the sposor of DD will provide free bear to all fans, so be there or be []

(And somehow Necromancer Kynde manages to name all active mummies in Aros at once, and we are back talking about mummies for the next few months :P )

DD is now becoming ready for next season in Aros.

We are looking forward to go all the way to the top here in Aros season XII, proclaimed Necromancer Kynde at a press conference earlier this week.

It was also at this time he introduced the three new players on DD. After the fall of Rigor Mortis in the quaterfinal and the degrading of Rastafa Elf Basher to assitant coach, and with two wights deciding to leave BB for good, the team roster seemed pretty empty.

But during the winter break DD has been practicing hard to retian the compettetion level they had reached in season XI.

The three new commers are mummy Ra and the two ghouls Devlin Hellboy and Snufitt Wice, of which the last is expected to take up the spot of Rigor Mortis, and has thus been given number 14 as Rigor used until he died again!
All three have been on the team since shortly after x-mas, but we have keept this secreat from the press so far, to give them some time to get used to the practice before the season comences in about a month time.

Roumors will it that the Vampire Count Luthor might join the team again in one of the early season games, as he feels he owns one to Kynde after failing a very important go for it in last seasons quater final, essentially blowing the chance to take the match into overtime. But of course there is also the chance that a fourth Ghoul could be hired instead?

First match is set on 24th of february, so join in there, when our sponsors will make sure every single fan has a free Akse beer when the match begins.

Dec. 12th, 2003
It took Necromancre Kynde half a week to get over the dissapointing result against Death Extravagante in the equal match:

Death Extravagante - Deadly Doom (season XI, ¼-final)

The greatest dissapointment was that late Rigor Mortis decided to die so early in the match by falling over his own feet that he never had any impact on the match. Kynde has been so dissapointed in him that he won't even mourn him. Had he not snuffed it, the result may very well have been 2-1 instead of 1-2.

We might though celebrate him if he ends up as top scorer of the season anyway, but that is still unsure.

Wheras Count Luthor the vampire made the important tieing TD in second half, we did expect more from him. In the last 3 turns he was stunned twice, the first time, it was the reason we did not snatch the ball after the great effort of Lex Liche against two Dark elf blitzers when he took Youran Wraithblade out (BH), causing the ball to scatter into the crowd.

And then he was stunned again when he woke up and ran to try and pick up the ball, and failed a go for it to get there.

Go for it seems to be the Doom of Deadly Doom. This match it killed Rigor Mortis (in a 1/3000 risk event) and the two last turns of DD ended in the first go for it!
And last match we lost 3 re-rolls in the first 3 turns on the first go for it in each turn. And on the last of those re-rolls it failed again! Both matches were mainly lost due to this, and it was even against elves. After winning the firt 4 against these terrible agile and "pretty" creatures, this came as a big dissapointment.

However, our main disspaointment (appart from seeing Extravagante win by a last turn TD) was that Rastafa Elf Basher has not made any kills the last 3 matches since he began trying even harder by throwing himself on his victims. This match It did not even result in more than a KO. And I feel it will be even worse next season. Basically he was always lying on the ground when I needed him standing, said Kynde. Hence I have retired him to assistant coach, so he can try and teach our new mummy some tricks next season in cooperation with Cheops the Great.

Also two of my wights has to leave me. Opi Rectalis because he did nothing the whole season, and Tri Octavius because he found out that I did not know his real name. He was really dissapointed. So was I with the skeleton who told him, and Dale is now degraded to assistant coach.

At the moment we have only 10 players left from this season, but we have saved 350 k up for new players for the next season. Appart from the new mummy I'm planning to hire, we will also include three new ghouls for the practice sessions in the off season break.

Until then this will be all, but be sure we will return for more elf bashing next season, and until then support our sponsors by drinking

Akse, DamneD beer.

We took 2nd place in group C, when Nutz only gained a 1 TD victory (2-1) over Habtabteilung, hence we were both at 12 point but with 5 TD vs 4 in difference DD took 2nd place.

It does not matter though, as both teams will go on along with Zolla (14 points) from Group C, as 12 point is better than what the third place can hope for (11 points) in Group B.

Tomorrow we will prove if it was braging when we before the season claimed that DD could make it all the way to the top, when we play the quaterfinal. Luckily we will have the assist from Count Luthor von Drackenburg, to whom we have great expectations.

Very unlucky but we are still killing elfs!

Well we had to take a 1-2 defeat today said Necromancer Kynde about the match:
Deadly Doom - Greyhavien Renegades (season XI, round 9)

It was obvious that our team had it's mind on the comming quaterfinal. Luckily our only SI of the day Tri Octavius regenerated, so we have a full team for next match. Basically that was what we came for, although if we win the group we could have removed one MNG, but we have none, so who cares.

We can by the way still win the group if the crazy Nutz only win by a small margin and if Zolla looses. But we don't expect the last to happen, so we just settle for winning the next three matches instead ;)

First half nothing seemed to work as we lost 3 re-rolls in the first three turns roling ones, even roling double 1 on the last, only to roll double skull at the start of fourth turn without re-roll!

Also our opponent took a blitz after their first TD making a second TD in first half, without anything working for us, except a special move by Bram Stoker. At least we scored in their recieving of second half! So all 3 TDs were scored in the opposing teams reciving.

We have saved some money and are pretty sure that old friend of Kynde, Count Luthor von Drackenburg, will play for us in the next three matches. He can make a hughe difference and put some spirit into this rookie team. The stats 6 5 4 9 Block, Dodge, Hypnotic Gaze, Regenerate speaks for them self...

We were delighted by the start with a KO a BH and a kill in the first two turns. Although Rastafa Elf Basher was dissapointed it was Ramses the 5th who made the kill! But this time the elf was healed so no new zombies for us.

But from then we only made 3 more KOs, luckily two of those were on the wardancers, but it was to late, as we were behind 2-0 after first half.

At least Rigor Mortis made our TD so he is still no. 1 on the top scoring list. But I have talked to him about letting Eata Corpus get a chance too. He now only needs a TD more to get blodge too, after his MVP for fighting two elves in their end of the pitch for most of second half.

Funilly enough it seems our fans just love watching us play woodelves no matter if we win or loose, as their numbers have always increased after we played Welfs.

In the other 5 matches only once have we increases the FF (against Dark Elf) but the rest of our matches has resulted in 4 decreases (1,2,1,1). But now we are back to FF 9 were we started 8 matches ago. Maybe it is also the knowledge of us playing in the quarter final that brought the fans back, or more likely, the free Akse beer at the entry :D

So keep on comming to DDs matches, we will win the next three time were it matters and there will be free beer

So until then support our sponsors by drinking:

Killing again and a place in the play-off secured.

A sure victory in the match Tainted Rams - Deadly Doom (season XI, round 8) has paved the way for DDs participation in the play-off even here one match before the matches in group C has finished.

Although it was not Rastafa Elf Basher with his new piling-on who did it, we are of course very happy that Ramses the 5th also has made his second kill. This even resulted in a new zombie Geleb Reanimated for our team when Geleb Bloodhammer snuffed it at the hands of the mummy. Even his apotech failed to cure him, but Necromancer Kynde managed to raise him from the stands.

Kynde was thrown out when he tried to convince the ref that he should not expell Argos. Maybe a little stupid as Argos had just BH one of the Rams in a raging foul.

Argos was upset that he had to hand the ball off to Bram Stoker who made DDs first TD of the match. He wanted to score him self, now that he finally had the ball for once.

We now both has a highelf Benno Brausekopf II and a beastman zombie in our team. But we only need 3 zombies so we decided to degrade Yurgi to assisting coach, as he has not done anything during these first 7 matches, and it is more fun to keep the others, to remind their coaches of their bad faith agianst DD :D

We had a great result: First time we score more than 2 TD in a game, first time the TDs are spread out on different players and 4 against nil casualties.

Appart from this we also had great results with the practice, as both Zed and Bram Stoker learned new skills (block/tackle). Even better was it when Eata Corpus finally lived up to his idol Rigor Mortis when he scored his first TD for DD. The move he had to make has now permanently increases his agility, and many more TDs will come from this...

Rigor Mortis did, however, not feel too good about letting the other score, so he claimed the last TD for himself to make the score 3-1 and in this way he has secured him self another week at the top of the top scoring list. Since he also secured that DD will go on to the play-off he has to make some more TDs to keep his record above one per match.

But we are very confident he can manage.

Finally we have a plead to our fans. Tell us what you want. Obviusly you do not want us to loose! But when you also leave us when we win making 2+ TDs as well as 2+ cas including kills, then we don't know what to give you. Even the free beer did not help today. Don't you like killing?

Acrually we have gone up in FF in both wood elf matches, in which no kills were inflicted. Our next match is also against wood elves so be there or be [].

Until then remember there will as always be free beer from our sponsor, so support them by driking:

Akse DamneD beer!

6 KOs, 2 BH and a SI... no KILLS! But we won anyway, so we are not really dissapointet, now that it looks like we are sure to make it through to the quater final, said a proud Necromancer Kynde.

He has plenty to be proud of after the match Deadly Doom - Sindarin Lords (season XI, round 6).

With only 3 rounds left, including round 7 where DD takes a break to go to Sutton England to learn new stuff, it looks really great for DD. We only need to play against the two buttom team of group C, wheras our nearest competitors has to play each other.

We do, however, still need another victory to be sure, and of course we will go for two more. But we have noticed that the Greihavian Renegades has grown into a stronger Wood elf team than the other two we have played. So although we are not afriad of them, and look forward to bash them into the pitch, we are not so sure of the victory there.

We don't expect to rely too much on luck in our next match though, against the horned beasts. If we can take them on, we should be sure to go through.

Meanwhile we are celebrating Rigor Mortis who is now among the top 3 dead TD scores ;). But the other two is sadly not playing anymore, as no Undead team wanted to enlist them when they recently died :D

So with a little luck Rigor Mortis should be able to grab the no. one spot before this season ends. But I have talked to him, about letting some of the others make at least one TD a match. Of course he should keep up the good work and try to make the top spot there. (I have heard there is money in it). With his last two TDs in the Sindarian Lords match he also learned to step aside when he is pushed by his oppoenents, and this might increase his time on the DD team.
Although he has already comlained a bit about this rough life, and talks a bit about a possible early retirement afte this season. (But we hope he stays on DD, if he makes it through this season?)

The match Deadly Doom - Sindarin Lords (season XI, round 6) was however, in some respect very dissapointing. No Kills. And also only one BH by Ramses the 5th right up til the end of the match. (Argos did make a SI foul, but it really doesn't count.) So when in the dying seconds of the match, before Rigor Mortis made the winning TD, we saw a determined Rastafa Elf Basher make a BH it was a great thrill.

It was, however, a huge dissapointment for Rastafa Elf Basher who had already become accustomed to killing elfs, not only badly hurt them. So he has now gone in to sharp training and for his next match he will be ready to throw himself upon his victim at any given chance, to increase the chance of making his belowed kills, and maybe helping DD to enlist new zombies as Benno Brausekopf II.

What ever we thought of the match, the fan loved it, and have returned in great numbers. Maybe it is only when we promise free beer from our sponsor? Henc we have already made a deal with them again. So be there for our next match in two weeks as we are proud to promisse you a free:

We have heard a Lizzard named Anton brag about his might. He was, however, disgruntled that Undead holds the first places in group B and C. Of course he is, because he is afraid of meeting them, as he knows his small Saurus has no chance against mummies. They beat up Orcs so Lizzies are no problem.

I'd say he has nothing to be worried about, though, as it to me seems he has no chance of moving on. Although not beaten yet, he only has 2 victories. Nothing compared to the 4 of DD.

But we will be looking forward to meeting him, should he be so lucky to make it to the play offs. That would be considered a walk over (or on top of) for DD.:D

In the meantime Drink Akse, DamneD beer and support our sponsor.

Rastafa Elf Basher also kills Orcs, as DD moves to the top of the leaderboard in group C.

We are though fully aware that we are one or two or even three matches ahead of four other teams, but they have all lost at least one match (twice of them only against DD) and one has to play DD in round 6, and it is a Wood elf team, so we are prepared for some elf bashing.

Also the other top teams have not all meet, hence some of them has to loose more points on their way towards the play-offs. This is just perfect for DD who now only has two wood elves, one of which lies at the bottom of group C, and then the tainted rams, with nothing but horned players, how bad can it be, says Necromancer Kynde.

We are by now the most lethal team in terms of most kills with 5, although in five matches, so it is not official yet. Also it seems Rastafa Elf Basher only kills when he gets really mad, nothing in between, although we are dissapointed not getting zombies on this acount due to the very skilled apotechs.

We again note that the three Undead teams, are at the top of their respective groups, and although it is dissapointing to be the only of them to loose a match, we are also the first of them to make it to 8 point, and the second team in total.

Both Lex Liche and Ramses the 5th learned new skills by beating opponents today, and Rigor Mortis was voted MVP eventhough he only had a medicore day, wonder what that kid can't do on a good day. Only two TD from his next skill, which we expect him to take against the Sindarian Lorts. We also expect Rastafa Elf Basher to get close to his 2nd skil in this match as well. (First get the cas that takes him to his first skill and then already get close to the second skill, as we expect him to live up to his name.)

We are only sad that our fans for the second time decides to punish us, even when we win, and make lots of cas.

We hope the free beer at the next match will help, and this is a promise I can give you from our sponsors. So in the meantime support them by drinking: Akse, DamneD beer.

Rastafa Elf Basher lived up to his name, while DD is back tied for the lead in group C.

The match was certainly not well played as can be read in the match report: Dark Minions of Naggaroth - Deadly Doom (season XI, round 4).
But to much joy for the fans whose number again increased afte a draught in the last two games, Rastafa Elf Basher did take one elf scalp already in this his penultima match. Although the elf was healed it was a great joy to see him come into the team like that, although we had good help from assitant coach Cheops the Great in secon half, in which also Bram Stoker scored the first TD appart from Rigor Mortis who had to miss this match due to his broken ribs. As he said "nice to let others in on the fun game of scoring TDs, but be sure I will be back in time for the next match."

Rigor was top scorer after round 3, but now of course he falls behind as he could not attend round 4.

The win came in the last turn, but it was a delight again to beat up some elves, although it only came to one kill and four KO this time. But since the elf team was group favorite, we are pleased with a win no matter how small.

Next match will be against Zola^BB the other top team of group C. Although they have won all 3 of their matches, it will be grand for DD when we for the first time beat a non elf team.

At least we have two more woodelf team to bash before we go on to the play-off, where we could hope to meet the other lousy Dark elf team that has dared enter seasson XI :D

Our thanks goes to the fans who cheered much for us this match, and just keep drinking Akse, DamneD beer, and support our sponsor.

What a terrible beating said a shaken Necromancer Kynde. I expected my unluck to have changed when I missed my flight home the day before yesterday, and was even fearing not to get back from my vacation in time for this match:
Deadly Doom - Hashhutz Nutz (season XI, round 3)

But the unluck was still there. Alredy in first turn, was Cheops the Great hit by a piling on dwarf, who smashed his hands. He was just looking so promissing, a young mummy of only 5000 years of age. What a shame, I had to take him of the team, where he will now act a assitant coach for his repolacement Rastafa Elf Basher.

4 casulties 2 KO and one thrown out for a failed foul in just 5 turns before the Nutz made the first TD. 4 players on the pitch! And then none of them regenerated and the KOed did not wake. Actaully we tried to wake KOs 7 times only succeding once!

I have never seen som many 2s in a BB match before, and always on dodge, regenerate or KO waking! Bad Bad Bad.
Also for loosing fans, and of course we also had some 1s, eg. when roling for treasury! :(

Luckily our next match will be against an Elf team, this seems like a much better setup for my mummies:D

Until then, drink Akse DamneD beer and support our sponsor.

Necromancer Kynde was thrilled after the violent match Deadly Doom - Die Haubtabteilung (season XI, round 2). We have now taken the lead in group C after the second round, and will keep it after this round, as our closest opponent will not play this round:)
We intend to stay on top of things during the rest of the tournament.

We note that the other undead teams are doing very well, but that is only what to expect from my necromantic colleagues. Best of luck to them, I'll see them for the play-offs

2-0 victory both TD agains by Rigor Mortis and 3 kills. Although mummy Cheops the Great looked like he was not going to play again ever, his regenerating power, and the fact that he is already dead, made him shake of the impact of this serious beating, and he will be ready even meaner than before for the next match.
Both he and the other mummy Ramses the 5th and our new wight Bram Stoker killed elf players. (One of wich was raised as zombie Benno Brausekopf II.)

So we keep up our reputation as serious elf bashers here in group C where we still need to bash three more elf teams, two of those Wood elves:-)

Also the earning was great, but due to lack of fan interest it was just a tiny bit less than what it could have been, and we may just have to wait another match before enlisting the fourth wight.

Also the fan dissapeared eventhough the match went so greatly.

So it seems we need the beers to keep up the high gate. Hence at the after party DD will try to persuade their sponsor to hand out free Akse beers for the first 10.000 fans that enteres through the gate at the next match. Lets hope it works.

We will as always like to thank our sponsor, support them and DD by drinking Akse: DamneD beer.

After studying our group C, we cannot help noticing that the three wood elf teams recide at the bottom of the group. DD will enjoy also helping the other two teams to stay down there for a little longer. My mummies long for some more elf blood, and wood elf blood suits them very fine :D

What a marevelous match, said Necromancer Kynde after Deadly Doom's first match in Aros BB League season XI. (Read alla bout it here Deadly Doom - Woodwatchers (season XI, round 1))

We have to admit that with our slow players we did expect the Woodwatching wood elves to run around our skelletons in cirkles. With the two turn TD we feared it might be that way. But then my two mummies beat up a couple of elves, and even Zed the zombie helped. This really opened up the pitch for Rigor Mortis who made our two TD.

We have been celebrating him (MVP of the match) at the local pub, where we have been drinking lots of Akse beer. Also Cheops the Great with two SI elves left behind, was celebrated, wheras Ramses the 5th was a little dizzy after 4 elves (the rest of the team on the pitch at that time) asisted each other in a dirty foul, to knock him out. Well at least he got to SI on of them first, so he'll be pleased with himself tomorrow (especially since he won't have as much hangover as the rest of the team :P ).

After this match, we look much more pleased with the fact that we are in the "elvish" group C with three (3!) wood elf teams, and both a high and a dark elf team. There also seems to be some hard hitting teams, but so far we are the only team in the group to have two St 5 players with mighty blow. They really like all the AV 7 teams/players around :D, and soon hope to obtain some extra skills.

And a big thanks to our sponsor who promissed an Akse beer to every DD fan entering the gate for the match: 41000 almost 1000 extra pr FF than normaly expected. And after this match we can even expect higher gate for the next match:-)

We also like to thanks the fan for getting the ref after he accepted the cheating elves to score that fast.

Thanks again and remember to support our team and our sponsor by drinking: Akse! DamneD beer

After intensive training during the summer (the head choach has been involved in almost 60 matches although not only with DD :) ) Deadly Doom feels ready to go rampaging among the lighter teams:P

In a series of practice matches (with the original team but developing normaly) they only lost the first match to the Reiging Chaos Cup champion, and then tied the next. Since then they have taken 5 victories in a row, including a match against the Slan Renegades, which was won 1-0 on a last turn TD even though Slan had hired Sibli and healed him when a mummy killed him;)

Support DD and our sponsor: Drink AKSE DamneD beer.

We now have a sponsor!

With the new sponsor ship by Akse beer, we have been able to design our own team logo for DD. Also we have new player uniforms which will mainly be kept in Liche Purple, Skull White and Chaos Black (of course).

Also all players now have a small description, although it is somewhat boring yet for especially skeletons and Zombies (should become better when they gain some experience on the BB field). For the two Ghouls and the two Mummies the descriptions are very much alike, but the two Whíght generals have more interesting stories to tell.

And on the behalf of our Sponsors we can only say, support DD by drinking: "AKSE, DamneD beer".

The Deadly Doom is preparing to join the ABB league next season after the summer holiday. With hard training and hard aggressive publicity they aim to secure three team re-rolls and the maximum starting fan factor of nine.

"With only 12 players to begin with it is easier to get them into shape than with 13-16, and we rather use the money for practise and fan factor, than on equipping extra zombies", says Kynde to the press. And continues: "It will be fun to raise some dead players from the other teams, and add them to my rooster. Of course they will keep their original names so their former coach can recognize them. My own skeletons and Zombies are by now so old, that I have long forgotten their last names, and I have them sorted alphabetical by first name. (See the team rooster where i begin from the front with a, b, c, d... for the skeletons and from behind with z, y... for the zombies). We will soon be ready to kick some serious a**."

If all this is only bragging only time will show.
