Total disaster in DR's last match ever!
With 16 players ready facing 13 elves nothing seemed to could go wrong. But everything did as De Puta Madre!! destroyed our hopes of retaining the cup!

In the quarterfinal
Divine Rats - Greyhavien Renegades (Season XXII, ¼-final)
The crazy Wardancer De Puta Madre!! made six casualties, four of those on our GodRunners. He did not manage to take Jesus out at all though, but he took God out MNG in the first blitz of the match, and then BH Holy Spirit twice in the next two blitzes. Apo saved the runner and then the elves scored only to get at Holy Spirit again. Finally The Mother was also BH by the dancer.

For all his efforts we have used our remaining 40.000 gps to increase his bounty to 70.000 gps. Hope that someone can claim them this season!

When he actually tried to get at Jesus he failed, but when Jesus could have tied for 1-1 in 2nd half he fell in a simple dodge… So much for the legendary status…

With a total of 10 cas against nil we had no chance with all the bad blocks and dodges etc. Still the only way the Renegades managed to remove Jesus from the pitch was by using their wizard. And Jesus came back from the KO in time for one last drive.

But we could not get through and for the only 2nd time in DR's six seasons and 66 matches (666) did we fail to score. And with a 0-4 defeat it was also the biggest defeat ever. Apart from the final of season XX that went into over time (Divine Rats - Bones & Bandages (Season XX, Final) 13 cas against), this is also the only other match were more than 9 casualties were inflicted on us. And in only 16 turns!

It also ended our no loss streak that would have reached 20 had we won today. Last time we lost a match was the first time we failed to score in round 2 of last season. Also against the hated Khemri! But after that we did not look back winning 12 matches in a row, giving us the trophy of XXI, and then a single tie before we won 6 more matches up till now.

The no-loss streak was in reach, if we had won again (tied with 22 straight matches without a loss we could then have achieved!)

But it was not meant to be. So here we must say over and out.
(And we can still for a short while sign of as)

An easy win, and yet another star!
As the first team DR moved on to the quarterfinal after having To Go past the Dwarfs in the match:
Divine Rats - Dwarf To Go (Season XXII, 1/8-final) :p

The win was never in doubt. Half way through the half The Mother became a star as expected by scoring the first TD. She learned pass block.

And then the trio of God Runners God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit took the ball from the dwarfs. Holy Spirit took down the runner. God was annoying (so much that they BH him) and then Jesus griped the ball and ran for it for the winning TD. Poseidon did help though clearing the path for Jesus!

The dwarfs never got a chance at scoring two TDs in second half, and they also failed to make any serious injuries at us.

So we will face the quarterfinal opponent with a full team, for only the third time this season. And a team value in execs of 2.400.000 gps.

We can't wait to win the trophy a second time. But now the coach will take a weeks vacation in the south to get mentally ready for next match.

See you there

Dirty Tyr wins the match & DR the group!
Against the dangerous darkies in the match
Divine Rats - Death Extravagante (Season XXII, round 9)
The only way to ensure a win was to get the upper hand. And in order to do so under hand tricks like the one known by Tyr B was needed.

And he used them excessively all through the match. From turn two he began fouling and did not stop until the last half of 2nd half, when only three elves where left on pitch. Four (4!!!!) fouling cas and four fouling KOs did Tyr B inflict, most enjoyed was the last on Morvian Hellstrike.

That was vengeance from the only real grievance of the match. Morvian Hellstrike early on made two SI, one of them a smashed ankle on Holy Spirit. The induced apotech mistakenly thought he was allowed near the GodRunners, and got to Holy Spirit before the teams own medic. Well - the quacksalver actually managed to heal the ankle… But when taking hold of Holy Spirit's leg he actually tripped the already injured runner so he fell hard on his head and smashed his skull in stead. This apotech has since been used to feed the pet Rat Ogre! :/

Luckily with the few elves on pitch Jesus and The Mother managed to take home the victory - thus ensuring DR will win the group play. (Mathematically we could end up 2nd tied in points with Scum of the Earth, the only team in our group we failed to beat this season - tied 1-1. But the TD difference is in our favour). And since a top position in the group play is so great, Holy Spirit will most likely feel ready before the play-off.

Loke made the first casualty for DR before all the fouling began, and he is thus again top cas inflictor on the team, with 11 taking him clear of God. The latter missed this match. But now all four runners will be ready for the play-off.

Sadly we will miss both Odin B and Heimdal C, but they will be back in shape for the quarterfinals. And to keep us at 14 players to begin with, we have brought back Brage B to the team. Once again (first time since 2nd match this season) do we have all 16 spots on the roster filled.

So we could not be more ready for going after the gold again. 18 matches without defeat and only the four remaining matches are left to tie the streak record. We cannot see any reason to stop now (or any team that could stop us!)

Jesus plays his 60th match & wins again
Both Jesus and Holy Spirit did today play their 60th match for DR. And what a match for them: They scored two and one TD respectively earning DR another win against the "superior" undeads in
Divine Rats - Necropolis Tombraiders (Season XXII, round 7).

For Jesus this meant he reached the astronomical amount of 75 TDs!

We only had 11 players ready after last match where four had to miss the game. In principle we could only field 10 as also Heimdal B had died. But he took a quick trip back round Valhalla and returned in time for this match disguised as a journeyman Heimdal C. And he did play a fine match for us. We are glad to have him back so soon.

Of course we must remember to thank our apotech who took a chance by saving Saturn from an early fatal casualty. Cause no one else got really seriously injured.

Only God was injured enough to MNG, but for this he also received the MVP and with that he has finally passed the old line of 126 spp (he is now at 129 spp). So he has become a Mega Star as Holy Spirit and as Jesus was before he turned legend.

Also it is time for God to take a little break. It was his 61st match for DR, so after next match all three GodRunners will have played the same amount of active matches.

We now only need to beat the last opponent in our group, to go undefeated through to the play-off and win the group. As it is just a few Dark Elfs from Death Extravagante (only 2nd and 3rd place so far in Aros), this should not pose any serious trouble for us.

And then we can focus on defending our trophy. Also when we win it again, we will tie the record for longest undefeated streak.

A win in TDs - but oh so many MNGs
Whereas the win seemed sure quickly enough with an early break against the dodgers, a lot of casualties and KOs made this a little unsure towards the end of first half in the match:
Divine Rats - Double Dodgers (Season XXII, round 6)

But with Jesus shining, ready after getting KOed during the half, a one turner was a reality and with DR then receiving, Jesus could score a TD midway though the half for 3-1, in spite of him getting stunned in a pitch invasion at the start of the half. So 3 TDs for the legend.

Antother top performer, that has always been in the shadow of Jesus, was Buddha who with two completions reached the 50 limit. But he is still 6 behind…

But but but but - one but for each of the four players that will miss next game, most of them due to one Müller-Meier. Both strong Poseidon and catcher The Mother are out along with two line rats. And on top of this Heimdal B was killed early on by a mad Ogre.

So in order to field 11 players next match we have had to rely on one of the journeymen following the Champs. It is the third match in a row against strong teams (now mummies) where Poseidon missed the match!

But we keep on winning, this was the fifth our of five over Double Dodgers!

And God could celebrate his 60th match for DR, having only missed two matches so far!

And at least we will again be able to field a guard as Saturn learned this with the MVP from the match.

However, guard is a dangerous skill to have on DR. He is the 7th player to hold the skill on DR. Six of these players are already dead, three of them with permanent injuries before the fatal one. As "only" 27 of the 43 players to enter DRs roster is dead, those with guard skill is heavily over represented amongst the dead!

Hopefully Saturn will be more lucky…? ;)

11 players or not, we are the Divine Rats and the holder of the trophy, and we do not fear the inferior (and dead) Necropolis Tombraiders!

Repeating the final. It was even easier!
Once again we took on the lizards from the final of last season. And once again we showed them how to play BB.

In the match
Cold Blood Magic - Divine Rats (Season XXII, round 5)
the only setback was that good old Loke fractured his skull and will miss yet another match for DR. But had he been saved it would have meant that Odin B had to take a trip back to Valhalla. Now he is ready for next match instead!

New Vermin Saturn had a good start by scoring for 1-0 in the first drive, where we broke the lizzies for the first time. Then next drive The Mother made it 2-0 and reached 40 spp.
Finally Holy Spirit scored for 3-0 to reach 150 spp and his 35th TD.

This means that Holy Spirit is now 2nd on the active TD scorer list at half the amount of TDs Jesus has scored. And he is now tied 2nd on the active most experienced players list. With just shy of half the amount of spp that Jesus has. He is now 4th on the all time chart.

Jesus made two completions for the first and last TDs whereas Buddha made the pass for the 2nd TD. This means Buddha is now alone in 2nd place on the active top thrower chart 8 behind Jesus. He moved clear of the tied 10th on all time list where Jesus is now tied 6th.

The MVP was earned by Tyr B the only player to get BH in the game, and from that he learned to kick the ball as well as opposing players! ;)

And finally we are back to fielding 14 players for next match after several matches with just 12-13 players ready. With only Loke missing, no dead and money enough to bring back Thor once again (as Thor D) we are ready to face our next opponent Double Dodgers. It will be our 5th match against them, and we have a solid record in our favour here as well.

We can't wait for next week!

5th win over the former double champs
Maybe they did win the Aros championship twice in a row, but it is a long time ago, and in 6 tries (once each of DR's six seasons so far) DR has only one tie as the worst result.

And today in DR's 60th match in Aros we did as good as ever with a stone certain 4-2 win in the match:
Blood Bowl Bunnies - Divine Rats (Season XXII, round 4)

We still have 5 players left from the original team!

It was especially Holy Spirit that shone stealing the ball several times from the Bunnies scoring two TDs himself and earning his 6th MVP (to tie with Jesus for 2nd most MVPs on DR with Loke still ahead with 7).

Holy Spirit will soon break the 150 spp barrier and with his 34th TD today he is now only surpassed by Jesus amongst the active players (ties with Kress von Kressenstein in 2nd place). On the all time list he is only one TD from top 5! As he is also only one TD away from being the 2nd most experienced active player in the league. He has moved to 5th on the all time most experienced player list.

Jesus managed to stay clear ahead of the pack with two TDs. These took him both to 70 TDs (more than the total of both those active players tied 2nd behind him), and he reached 300 spp. With two completions after this he is now at 302. 2nd on the active list has less than half of this: 150 spp.

God on the other hand was elected MUP (Most Useless Player). Although he did inflict the only casualty he failed two easy TD opportunities, which could have made it 5-1 or maybe even 6-0.

Luckily we also had Buddha who with two completions reached 80 spp and with 47 completions he is now tied in 10th on the all time top thrower list. On this list Jesus is 7th with 54, but these two players are now no. 1 and tied 2 on the active thrower list.

All this means that with a couple of TDs from Holy Spirit and a completion from Buddha DR would have the two best of both active throwers, TD scorers and most experienced players!

Only mishap of the game was that a rock took out Poseidon SI. The apo ensured he will be fine again, but for the 2nd time in a row he will miss a match where we face teams with more players as strong as him than not!

Luckily we managed to scrape enough money together (maximum winnings there) to hire a replacement Saturn for Pluto who is now back at Mount Olympus.

But Saturn will be tested to the limit in his first match against the strong lizard from Cold Blood Magic. It was the same whom we took out in the final last season! So of course we can take them out again! ;)

Winning streak ended against Scums!
A sad day indeed. With Poseidon out and Pluto dead we simply lacked the strength to fight an entire match against seven stronger players in the match:
Divine Rats - Scum of the Earth (Season XXII, round 3)

And thus our streak of a dozen straight wins ended as it started against the another type of scum: Hellbringers.

But still we did not loose in spite of this power show from Scum of the Earth.

Jesus managed to run the ball in for a TD and then prevent the tie to come in first half before he was fouled BH.

Worst right now is that not only did Loke get another injury to his legs! Both Thor C and Brage A has taken a trip back to Valhalla. And we just haven't managed to earn enough to get them or Pluto back yet.

Jesus want so much money to be in the team. On the other hand he sometimes win the match all alone, but this time he only managed a tie.

It has been 22 matches since our last tie! That was back in our darkest moment in season 20. In five straight matches did we not win (two ties), but after those five matches we have only lost 2 (both to the previous champs Bones & Bandages, once in the final of season 20 and once two matches later in season 21. That is so far the last match we have lost). We have won 16 of the last 19 matches we have played including the tie today.

Now we will face the easiest opponent we can imagine - the silly "buns" from Blood Bowl Bunnies. So hopefully we can get back to business with a full team after taking care of the cheerleaders on pitch :-D

A dozen straight wins from hell-bringers
Our current winning streak began when we met Hellbringers back in Hellbringers - Divine Rats (Season XXI, round 3). Today this streak reached the 12th win, with yet another big victory over the dark elfs in the match:
Divine Rats - Hellbringers (Season XXII, round 2).

We even extended the score from 5 to 6-0 this time. Of course the darkies only goes for the foul and injuries, and they succeeded in part with 8 vs. only 1 by our top inflictor Loke who made it to 10 today.

But with 5 BH and a MNG it was not as bad as it could have been. The two kills we could (better) have lived without. Especially it was sad to see God dead. An even the apotech could only partly heal him. He will miss next match and sports a niggling.

As we only have one apotech it meant that Pluto died. Very sad but better than to loose your God.

With Poseidon also missing next match, we will drop radically in TV to just below 2 mill for the next match. But most of this will be back for round 4.

Jesus scored 3 TDs in a row taking him more than 100 spp clear of no. 2 on the list and he will soon pass the 300 spp mark. He is now the only remaining player from the original team without a permanent injury.

The Mother also scored two TDs, reaching 10, on her way to stardom and with the last TD for Holy Spirit he now moves to 6th on the most experienced list and to tied 8th on the top scorer list.

DR is on a stroll to the next championship…

Blazing to 5-0 win as the defence starts
After the expected win over last season prügelknabe DR now officially has the highest team value in the league.

This was after the match
Divine Rats - Addicted Lunatics Clan (Season XXII, round 1).

DR thus extended their winning streak to 11 and extended Addicted Lunatics Clan's streak to 9… :p

For the next match DR will have a TV of 2.450.000 gps, as they have used the gold obtained this match to hire coaches and a cheerleader so we have 3 of each.

The last 10 kgps has Jesus demanded DR used to increase his bounty to 100.000 gps. He thinks he must at least be worth a 100 grand! And he of course has great influence on the coach these days.

Jesus stuck to his plan of becoming the seasons top thrower with 3 completions, and that took him past the 50 completion mark to tie for 8th on the all time list. Of course he also killed a gobo just for show.

He left it to the other runners to score the TDs, and also Buddha got one in, now that he should not expect any completions…

But that was important for him, cause this, his only 2nd TD, finally made him catch up with the three God Runners to become a super star him self. He learned kick-off return for that.

Also The Mother managed to emerge as a star with her two TDs and she learned catch.

And with a TD and a casualty, God finally moved into the list of most experienced players pushing those with less than 120 spp out as he claimed the 15th spot for him self.

Holy Spirit also made a TD and with two completions he has moved into 8th on the experience list.

All three God Runners made five points each, in different combinations!

Most amazing was the fact that we can keep on sucking up fans, we have now reached an impossible high level of fans with an active fan base of 19 due to our trophy. 18 was else believed to be the limit until now!

Defender of the Crown
Finally we can get back in action to defend our trophy. This is something we have been looking forward to during the season break.

After the almost perfect season 21, and coming into this season on top of ten straight wins, we are looking forward to break all records. Of course successfully defending is the most important. But seeing how we have only obtained better and better results for each season, this seem almost like a given result already!

No, this season we need to step it up a little to win all 12? games on the way not letting any defeats (or ties for that matter) tarnish the season. In doing so we can also emulate the once great team Blood Bowl Bunnies (of course now - and forever - only a shadow of it's former glory). By winning two seasons and 22 matches in a row.

Jesus accomplished everything he needed on the TD and experience fronts last season. But he is still one completion short of no. 50! But of course he is the leagues active top thrower and less than 20 completion from the all time top 5. So this will be his main target this season. Top scorer last season, top thrower in this.

Instead we will focus the TD attention on The Mother. With his strong mother binding Jesus will find it easy to pass the ball on to her.

Apart from the God Runner trio God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit we have high hopes for the two Storm Vermins. Of course mainly strong and clawed Poseidon can hopefully take the team to a different level. And now with Pluto we actually once again have a guard on the roster.

With 16 players ready for the opening match we have reached an all time high value of the team. For the first match the TV will be a staggering 2.370.000 gps. (Not clear until the MNG of last season are erased just before the season opening of course). Sadly this has left us 10 kgps behind the value of Elf Huggers (and we have no money left!). But since they have not played last season (not since we send them out in the quarterfinal of season 20), and probably won't dare come back, the Divine Rats will be the team to begin with the highest TV by a clear margin (at least 50 kgp ahead of no. 2).

It will be nice to give those poor suckers a little chance with at least a free babe, or in the best case almost enough for an entire new team… :D

We can't wait to get out there and score TD's once again, so be there or be []

The Champions on the seasons merits.
What a great run DR has had. 10 wins in a row up to and including the grand finally!

It was the first season without any ties (so far 2 ties had been the norm, and now the average is down to 2 each season).

So far 4 wins in a row and 7 undefeated matches in a row where DR's records. Now both are at 10. The records over the five seasons DR has competed is 10 wins and 12 undefeated (the same streak) by Black Widows the season they won the trophy and the first match next season. (The team where actually undefeated for 13 matches as they also won their last match in season 15 (3rd place), but then did not play until season 17.)

So two more wins and we have both records after the resetting of all teams up to season 17.

DR did not only win the championship they also won the group play. And by that we do not only mean winning our own group B by a clear margin. By winning the last cross over against the clear no. 1 in Group A, Wild Wood Warriors - Divine Rats (Season XXI, cross-over 8), DR definitely won the upper brackets. And as DR was the only team to get 14 points (7 win and one loss), where the other teams that only lost one match, also had at least one tie, then DR was the team with the highest point score going into the play-off.

DR was the only team to go through the season with only one defeat, and then 11 wins! The best amongst the other teams had only 9 wins.

In the group play DR scored 30 TDs which tied with Wild Wood Warriors as most TDs during this phase. DR, however, only let in 9 the other way vs. 20 for WWW. The difference of 21 TDs was by far the best.

Over the entire season DR scored most TD with 47 vs. 40 for WWW. As the later team had two less matches (thanks to DR and the match Wild Wood Warriors - Divine Rats (Season XXI, ¼-final)) the average for DR fell short with 3.92 vs. a clear 4 for WWW. We where one TD for tying there!
Our difference of 27 TDs was still by far the best also in average, with Greyhavien Renegades closest with a difference of 22.

DR played in front of the largest crowd since the restart of the team, in the semi final Divine Rats - Greyhavien Renegades (Season XXI, semi-final) with 88.000 fans, 50.000 from DR! Several more than showed up for the final.

And with this win DR has now joined an elite group of teams that have won all three types of metal. (DR even with two 2nd places.) Simultaneous with DR Greyhavien Renegades obtained the same when winning the 3rd place. The other teams are: Bad Moon Backstabbers, Blood Brothers and Bad Moon Provorcs.

DR is one of only two teams with four times metal, the other team being Bubble Ups 1948 who did not take any 3rd places, and only Bad Moon Provorcs has more metal, as they never failed to end in top 3 the 7 seasons they played.

After the season ended DR received an honorary MVP for the championship which went to no other than low strength line rat Brage A. He managed to play 10 matches for DR this season in spite of his low strength, and in spite of the fact that he spend most of his awoken time in front of the big guys like the Krox Mr. Joe Fixit in the final, the tree Oldbirch Longleaf in the semi etc all the way back to the opening where he spend time in front of another skaven teams (BBK Stjernepladsen) hired star Headsplitter. For all this work he was awarded this extra price. And now there is a slight hope he might become an emerging star before getting send back to Valhalla…

Also 10 k was awarded to Jesus for becoming top scorer. The Legend of course decided what to use this money for, and he spend them on a personal cheerleader, called something like M. Magdalena or the like. She has thus joined DR's staff before the season ended.

We still have lots of money left from the gigantic win in the final, and the 120 k will be spend on getting Thor B back in time for next season. He should be hailed for taking the only serious hit in the final it self, getting send back to Valhalla right there. But he has been celebrating there since Tuesday (until Thors day! ;)) and look forward to get back on pitch again.

The rest of the money will be used on a new thrower, from a new religion, the Hindu, as Vishnu will join us next season. Buddha may soon become a super star, but he is also tired and slow, so he might not last for ever. Of course Jesus is the best thrower on the team (and in the league), but we sometimes need more than one!

With these buys and when the MNG of The Mother is erased the value of DR will be 2.370.000 gps. If we include the Two FF that the trophy adds to the team, although not to the TV or the roll for FF, then DR's total value would be 2.390.000 gps, which will make it the most expensive team in the league when the next season start, just 10.000 in front of (almost retired?) Elf Huggers which is at 2.380.000 at the moment. But until then DR most settle for a spot as tied 4th most expensive.

Finally we will remember the fallen from this season, which includes no less than three players with guard. We had to play the last three matches without any guard. But after the final Pluto has learned it. Let's see if he has more luck staying alive next season than the following that are remembered here:

Zeus, almost a super star and one of the players from the original team. Managed to play 44 matches for DR. Died in the horrible match of round 2, the last we lost.

Fallen Madonna a runner with guard - for the first time on DR. She learned it after the season's first match, and then died in the very next the horrible round 2 that stole both of our guards.

Uranus, had just learned guard a few matches before when obtained a niggling and two matches later he was killed in the round of 16th.

Also:
Balder B died but he has already returned as Balder C and Thor B died as mentioned in the final, but will also be back next season.

We mourn the dead, but celebrate the living, and as they are all Gods they only die for a short time (at most three days like Jesus) then they either return or send a suitable replacement.

We have been dreaming about winning Aros for a long time, and now when it finally happened it is even better than we had hoped for, and we can't wait to come back and show that we can do it again, and break even more records!

And that should be the last bulletin words from DR this season.

A list of all of Jesus' TD records etc!
What a season for DR apart from the fantastic championship.

It looks so great with the beautiful logo right up there at the right part of of the screen ;-)

The logo has been designed by Jimi who plays Hellbringers. Many thanks go to him - we could not have done this without a great logo - I owe you a beer ;)

On the logo we of course find no other than the Martyr and the sole reason we could take home the gold. On the cross you see Jesus!

Let us look at all his records, as he was the key to unlocking the win and removing the "eternal 2nd" that had clung to coach Kynde the rat!, especially after the last two seasons.

Well all TD records have been broken by Jesus. But lets first see how this season 21 went.

A single TD in the first match was acceptable (we won it).

But then he had a near death experience in the horrible 2nd round match against the former champions Bones & Bandages (which we had also lost to in the final of season 20 only two matches before!) Near death because the apo had to heal Jesus from a kill and then when he was about to ensure the first TD of the match he fell on a simple dodge and got BH! This resulted in the only match ever where DR has failed to score a TD. (The final was DR's 56th match in five seasons, which is by the way also a record number over this span.)

However, Jesus did survive and in round 3 he started the run for all the records. Scoring all 5 in the match against the artist of the logo with Hellbringers, we won 5-0 and this earned Jesus the title of Legend. The only 2nd to achieve this after Synne Buch.

This was also the time when he got the little "please kill me" note put on his back by a joking commish (see his skill description). And he did not look back then and has made it 10 wins for DR in a row, with TDs by Jesus in all of them.

Already next match he became the most experienced player with 3 TDs passing by Synne Buch. In two more matches on the way he scored 5 TDs and then he managed two TDs in each of the other six matches on the way to the final.

---

And what are all the TD records then!

1: He is the no. 1 top scorer of the league.
He reached former no. 1 Hans already after half the seasons matches had been played and then did not stop to chat. With 64 TDs he is now 15 ahead of him and 31 ahead of the 2nd on the active player list. 3rd on this list we find another DR GodRunner Holy Spirit with "only" 30 TDs. This means that Jesus has made one more TD than the 2nd and 3rd on the active list together! 5th on the list we find the last GodRunner God with 25 TDs. (These two are 9th and 14th on the all time list).

2: He has obtained the top scorer price of the season. With an average of 2.58 TDs per match - 31 TDs in 12 matches, he was far ahead of no. 2 Fast catch with only 17 in only 10 matches averageing 1.70 - 0.88 less than Jesus. Actually he scored as many TDs as no. 2 and 3. on the list (both catchers from Wild Wood Warriors - a team DR took out in the quarterfinal and had also beaten already once before in the last cross over).

3: The season average 2.58 is also a new record. The previous record of 2.4 TDs per match in 10 matches was set in season 15 by The Hail Mary. An improvement of 0.18 over two more matches.

4: The amount of TDs in a single season 31 also took out the former record of 25 TDs with 6. The old record was also from season 15, but performed in 12 matches (thus lowering the average) by Thora Rulle.

The amount of TDs scored is put in perspective by comparing with fellow GodRunner Holy Spirit, who became top scorer in season 18. He scored only 10 TDs that season, but it was enough. (in only 9 matches, DR's worst season, the only not to make it to the semi finals). But although both the Runners have been on DR all five seasons, and with Holy Spirit being a top scorer, Jesus actually scored one more TD this season alone (31) than Holy Spirit has scored in all five seasons (30). Jesus did not double his amount of TDs, as he began on 33 after the first four seasons.

---

That was TD records. Then what about completions? With his sure hands and high agility, speed and leap he is the perfect thrower, except he misses pass.

This has been used a lot also this season. And he has accomplished things here which has also never been done before.

1: With 21 completions in this season he became the 3rd on the top thrower list of the season! 1.75 pr. match. (It was not the first time he made it to the top 10 but in season 19 he was only 6th with just 8 completions).

2: He has made it into the top 10 on the all time top thrower list on a 9th place! He is the only non-throwing position to get into this list!

3: AND with 48 completions in total he is at the moment the active player with most completions! He is thus the active player with both most TDs and most completions. This has for sure never been seen before! In third place on this list we find the teams "thrower" Buddha with 43 completions (which puts him in 12th place on the all time list). There is, however, still 104 completions to the record of Synne Buch but Jesus may work on this next season, when the TD records are secured for a long time.

---

And finally some other of Jesus's records.

1: He is by far the most experienced player. With 277 spp he is almost a 100 ahead of Synne Buch with 188. The closest active player is Egil Uldsson with only 150 spp, 127 behind. That is close to half that of Jesus. 4th on the active list we find Holy Spirit at 126 spp (that is at the Super Star limit in the old days and he is 11th on the all time list) and 7th God who came up one spp short at 115 of entering the all time list on the 15th place which takes 116 spp.

2: With 121 spp in the season (31 TDs, 21 completions, 1 cas and 1 MVP) Jesus also sets a new record for most spp in a single season. Only 13 other players in the league history has scored more than 121 spp in their entire carrier. Synne Buch scored 86 spp in her last season, which I believe is the previous record.

3: Whereas Synne Buch became the first legend (although Star Player "Suset" reached 177 as well), Jesus has reached 200 and 250 spp as the first. (and only so far).

4: The three GodRunners on DR God, Jesus and Holy Spirit has all been part of the team from the beginning. Staying alive over five seasons and 56 matches, with only one permanent injury in total (-ST to Holy Spirit) is a fantastic feat. God has only suffered a single MNG and have thus been active in 55 matches. This is even better than the other two runners. Each of these have missed 3 matches. So they have played 53 for DR. BUT Jesus again has set a record. He has obtained two MNG injuries in two consecutive matches and he did not miss any matches due to these two! This was at what was to be the end of DR's worst season 18. In the last normal round DR had a chance to reach 2nd spot in their group if they could win their cross over with 2 TDs. During this match against Maca'Chobaich Jesus suffered the MNG. But at the very end of this crazy match Maca'Chobaich - Divine Rats (Season XVIII, cross-over 8) an inaccurate pass from God, made possible by Holy Spirit wrestling the dwarf with the ball down, bounces to Madonna who catches it for the 4-2. This win then bomped Greyhavien Renegades down to third. A 2nd place means that one player gets ready before the play-off and that was Jesus. But it had been a very rough match and several other players missed the quarterfinal where Jesus once again was injured MNG and DR was send out. The only season they have not taken metal home. But that meant that Jesus did not miss a match from this injury either as the next match was after the break. So only 3 misses after suffering 5 MNG. Jesus has been killed twice on the pitch, but was saved by the apo both time of course!

5: Finally he is at the moment, not surprisingly, the most wanted player in the league with a bounty of 90 k on his head, as much as is on the two next on the list. Tied 4th with 30 k we find Holy Spirit who has been wanted for a long time. Jesus was first wanted when it was realized he would probably win the gold for DR. But it was too late then!

Jesus did it all alone & won the CUP!
It is without a doubt Jesus' achievement that we are standing here today with the trophy! So thanks to Jesus.

In the very exciting final
Divine Rats - Cold Blood Magic (Season XXI, Final)
Jesus both recovered from a KO and from a BH in the first and second half respectively.

He scored before getting KOed, and then he scored again in overtime after his brother the apotech Jakob saved him at the end of 2nd half.

God on the other hand was KOed from turn two and the rest of the match, and The Mother was SI at the start of 2nd half. Holy Spirit was MNG from the semi final.

So of course Poseidon, Pluto, Loke and Buddha did their part of the work as well. But it was Jesus who got the ball and scored with it, and forced the wizard of the opponent to be used at the right time etc.

Of course we must not forget to thank our selves for having hired a wizard, cause it was with this that we prevented Cold Blood Magic and Bruce Lee from scoring more than once. A SI on the little skink was a great bonus. And that started the late removal of all skink so that when Pluto took down Toad The Wet Sprocket in the overtimes last turn, that was the only skink left on pitch and he could no longer score. That sealed the deal and the cup went to DR! :D

For this Pluto earned the MVP and has now learned guard. A skill desperately needed all season after both Zeus and Fallen Madonna were killed in the one match we lost this season against the defending champs: Divine Rats - Bones & Bandages (Season XXI, round 2). That was our 2nd match of the season and right there it did not look good.

Jesus had not begun his scoring frenzy, and was first killed and saved by Jakob, and then when going for a sure TD in a cage, he fell on a simple dodge and became BH!

That was the only match ever in DR's 5 season (and 56 matches) that we failed to score a TD. And that also became the only match this season that DR did not win, and the only in which Jesus did not score.

From there Jesus did not look back. 5 TDs in the next match, and two more matches with 5 TDs and at least two TDs in the each of the rest of the 10 straight wins DR has taken.

First he became a legend, then he broke the most experienced limit, then the TD barrier, then he ensured that he would become top scorer of the season, then that he has most TDs in a single season and finally that his average for this season is also a record.

On top of this he made enough completions to make him 3rd on the season top thrower list and at the moment he is not only the player with most TDs he is also the active player with most completions!

He managed 31 TDs and 21 completions this season summing up to 121 spp with an MVP and a single cas too.

Other players to have learned skills in the final counts Tyr B who became dirty player by taking out the only Saurus we injured, and of course Poseidon who took out a skink to grow out a claw like late Zeus.

The only kill we managed was inflicted by Odin B, and the only permanent injury we suffered was a kill on Thor B. The latter will return from Valhalla before next season.

There we will line up with 16 players (two throwers, now that Buddha is old and almost a super star) and will thus almost tie the highest team value at the moment. 2.360.000 gps do we expect to reach before next season starts! And that is without the two extra fan factors that we will obtain for holding the Trophy!

That will give us a FF of 18 which should not really be possible under the new rules, so we need to win a couple of finals to achieve this, and amongst other of course win 10 matches straight.

This is the first season DR has no ties! And 10 wins ties the record since the restart in season 17. Tied with Black Widows the season they won and the next. They also had 12 matches without a loss. So we need to win a couple more next season to beat this record. Of course we have to win all matches next season (and it has to be 12 like this season) to tie the old record by Blood Bowl Bunnies. But we think it can be done! ;)

We have at least proved that you can win even though you brag about that you can in all your bulletins. Hubris is not always ending with nemesis :p

And the incredible thing is that our team is now stronger than ever, and will be even more so when we defend our title in season XXII.

After the season has officially ended we will list some more records and facts.

Until then, over and out from
The Champ!

One Turning Jesus takes DR to the final!
In another amazing match:
Divine Rats - Greyhavien Renegades (Season XXI, semi-final)
Jesus was the team thrower in the ordinary time. 5 completions did he manage and one TD.

But at the end of the match just when he had retrieved the ball yet again, he was taken down and then fouled KO by For a Gracefull Death!. Then the match went into overtime and Jesus failed to wake up until it was almost too late and it looked like a penalty shoot out. But just then he came back, and with For a Gracefull Death! send off for fouling the elves was one side stepper short, and that was all it took for DR to believe in the one turn chance, and even in the pouring rain Jesus managed to catch the ball and then proceed to win the match and the place in the final with a last over time turn one turner!

With his two TDs Jesus is now sure to break the record for highest average TD per game. And he is now the active player with not only most TDs but also with most completions!

It was an amazing match that had it all. Two pitch invasions in first half, two riots in the overtime, two quick snaps resulting in one turners and a blitz. The blitz was ours and it was Jesus' who caught the kick, negotiated a blitz by a wardancer and scored his first TD, the first time DR got ahead in the match. That made the difference.

Only blemish on our perfect match is that Holy Spirit was SI so he will miss the final. But that is our only problem and with The Mother back we still sports 14 players and three runners.

Also we played in front of the record gate since season 16's final (and the new rules for allowing people in the stadiums). 88.000, 50k of which was ours. And now we even have more fans than before, with a staggering FF of 15!.

Also the winnings was great and we now has to consider what to do with all this gold… Win the final and take some gold more of course.

We are ready whether it will be Pyramid Schemes or Cold Blood Magic. This season is ours. It is our 5th season, the coach lucky number, it is the third final in a row, and third one is the charm, and Jesus is simply unstoppable.

DR in the semis a 4th time.Jesus @ 60 TD
After just one other match DR faced the Wild elves again in the match:
Wild Wood Warriors - Divine Rats (Season XXI, ¼-final)

This time we were in better shape than last time, but had more difficulties with our win, as WWW took out first Holy Spirit BH then The Mother SI MNG and finally God also BH.

But thanks to our two Storm Vermins; Poseidon who scored the first and fourth and Pluto who scored the final for 5-4 we made it through.

The last TD we also owe to a great war dancer: Zap da pain. Having sensed that they would probably loose the over time, with no RR left vs. 5 for DR, he decided to get home early and thus got the ball, that Buddha had failed to pick up, and passed to Jesus. An event that surprised many, especially Jesus. But he took the gift and this was how Pluto was handed the ball.

The two remaining TDs was scored by none other than Jesus and this took him to a total of 60 TDs. It also took him to 27 this season thus giving him the record for most TDs in a season too. The season top scorer title is also ensured as his only serious contenders where the two catchers on Wild Wood Warriors, and even if he scores no TDs (like that is going to happen) in the last two matches he will still have an average of 2.25 TDs/match vs. 1.7 for Fast catch. Jesus still needs two more to also obtain the highest TD average for a season, but that should be a walk in the park for him by now…

Both Zap da pain and Jesus received the MVP for their corporation for the final TD across teams. It was Jesus' 6th MVP and with it he now has 260 spp!

We are now for the third season running (fourth time out of five possible) in the semi finals. And although we will be missing The Mother who won't be ready before the final, we should be safe with our 14 rats ready, including the GodRunner trio: God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

And we are so lucky to meet a battered Wood Elf team this time: Greyhavien Renegades. So after having handled the best welf team in the league twice in three matches, we should also be able to cope with those renegades and get to the final.

Whether we will then face Lizards or mummies is of no concern. This is DR's season, and we are here for the gold!

DR breezes through to the quarterfinals!
A rookie team is no match for three GodRunners as the lizards found out in tonight's match:
Divine Rats - Silverado Snakeskins (Season XXI, 1/8 finals)

To their credit should be mentioned that they did get ahead 0-1, but only with the help of a wizard. And already after the first half had Jesus passed three times for two TDs.
In the second half he passed again only to receive it back for the third TD and then he caught a kick in a blitz for the result 4-1.

With four completions Jesus is still tied 1st amongst the active throwers and he has entered the top 10 on the all time top thrower list.

With the two TDs he is now at 25 TDs this season thus already tying the old record from season 15.

The skinks got another chance for a TD but they failed to used it in time. God thus stopped a stalling skink to keep the score at 4-1 and keep up the very good TD difference for DR this season. 34-10 it is now.

Only sad thing is that Uranus was destroyed by a homo Krox, but he was already getting old, and luckily we just managed to earn enough for his replacement: Pluto will be ready for the quarterfinal!

And Heimdal B earned the MVP and thus learned to wrestle.

With 14 players ready we can face down any team they can throw at us! That tean can be choosen amongst all there is left, because we were the only team from group B to progress to the next round!

Nov. 4th, 2008
Finally! We are ready for the play-off!
With the MVP awarded for winning group B our roster is ready. Odin B was the lucky receiver and for that he has learned to block. He has also had a perfect season with not a single injury!

Actually DR did win the entire group play, as we are the only team with 14 points, three others ending up with 13.

The team has practised hard since the last match, and we hope this will help us during the play-off. It should be easier to keep up the good play at the end of the halves and in potential overtime now.

And as a bonus Jesus (can't avoid mentioning him in a bulletin) is now the active player with tied most completions (39) after the timely demise of Ko Π.

If we should not win this season, our fifth - the coach's lucky number, and in the third straight final - third is the charm, then… ? :)

Well now we are as ready as we can be here less than two hours from kick-off in the round of 16! So lets kick it!

DR wins the group play - 5 TDs for Jesus
With a very convincing win over the only until now unbeaten team in the season DR comes out as the clear no. 1 after the group play:

They win their group with 3 points, having beaten the no. 1 in the opposite upper bracket, having been in the toughest group and with at least a tie for maximum point with the best lower bracket team.

On top of this the 5-3 win in the match:
Wild Wood Warriors - Divine Rats (Season XXI, cross-over 8)
gives DR a tie for most TD this season with 30 in the first 8 matches. Tying with no other than the now beaten Wild Wood Warriors.

But the Welfs only have a TD dif of +10 vs. DR's +21! Actually only one other team has scored more than 21 TDs in the group play (Chaos49 with 22).

Of course the coming top scorer of the season Jesus scored all 5 TDs and is now only 2 TDs away from the record for most TDs in a season (25). So far Jesus has an average of 2.88 TDs per match, which is to be compared with the best in a season 2.40. Both those records where set in season 15.

Jesus' goal is to score at least 30 TDs this season, preferably several in the final!

After last match half of the team was send to recuperate but they are now all 15 ready for the round of 16th as no players were seriously injured by the elfs. Actually most of the injuries befell our mercenaries and a journeyman. Only Buddha and God were BH from our own ranks.

The latter received the MVP for taking out annoying Fast catch. This was important for Jesus as the catcher was the only threat for his top scoring spot. But now he is almost out of the deal. So a well deserved MVP there, and that took God above 100 spp. So now the entire GodRunner trinity God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit has risen above the century spp. But of course Jesus has now more spp than the other two combined with 238 vs. their 221 total. At the moment Jesus is 50 spp ahead of former most experienced player!

But still no one dares put a bounty on such a divine rat!

Jesus takes no. 1 spot and so does DR!
What an amazing time for DR. Once again we win over the Vikings, now two in a row and again without serious harm to the team as opposed to the two first meetings.

And in the match
Divine Rats - Olvig Vikings (Season XXI, round 7)
Jesus finally broke the 50 TD limit with two more to his collection, so he with 51 TD now are clear of Hans alone in the top spot on the League Top Scorers list.

With the win over the only competition to take first place in Group B DR is now sure to win the Group due to the fantastic TD difference: 25-6.

And of course we will take out the rookie Wood Elfs from WWW in the cross over. Hey they have even less point from their easy group than we do here from the though one.

Actually we have decided to let most of the teams linerats take the match of to save them for the important end game.

Only sad thing about the match today was that the very last block almost killed Uranus and now he sport a niggling injury. But his fellow vermin Poseidon managed to compensate for this loss by increasing his strength!

We are so ready to take our Gold this season!

Jesus ties 1st spot on top scoring list!
And it was so close that he could have overtaken Hans on the list of League Top Scorers. But instead of scoring his 50th TD (6th of the match) in DR's 50th match he falls stunned over the EZ line and leaves it to The Mother to score for 6-1 next turn instead of handing the ball to him as planned.

This was in the match:
Blood Bowl Bunnies - Divine Rats (Season XXI, round 5)

But still there are plenty of reasons to celebrate.

First of all the top scoring record is now Jesus and soon it will be his alone.

Second we continue this extravagant scoring frenzy with a TD difference of 21-2 in 4 matches, after the horrible match in round 2.

Third it was the first time we scored 6 TDs in a match and it was also the biggest defeat the Blood Bowl Bunnies ever faced in this their 10th season. We had already won over them three other times and tied the last one. So far facing them once every season!

Fourth Jesus is still easily season top scorer with 3 more TDs than Fast catch in one less match, 16 in 6 matches averaging 2.67.

Fifth we of course takes top spot in our group B, and when taking out Olvig Vikings who's 2nd next match, we will also ensure staying 1st after the group play.

Sixth we have already ensured our progress to the play-offs with two more matches to go. The worst we can end up in would be third place, and that is only theoretical, as Blood Bowl Bunnies should then catch up a 22 TD difference in the next two matches to overtake us. So if we should suffer a MNG in the last cross over before the round of 16th we can manage to get the player ready in time for that.

And seventh! This was as mentioned DR's 50th match in Aros BBL, and we still have 5 players (almost half) from the original roster.

Most amazing is Loke a line rat that has made it through with only a decrease in movement to show that he has been ready for 45 of DR's matched (missed five so far, but only the one permanent). He is also the most valued player on the team with 7 MVPs, two more than even Jesus can brag about.

Also our thrower Buddha has made it all the way, but he missed this last match, and this season alone he has suffered his only two lasting injuries, so he's as slow as Loke but now also has a niggling. With Jesus on the team his passing abilities is contested and he has actually 5 less completion than Jesus. But he has been in the sop 15 on the thrower list, and he may soon get back there. He has also played in 45 matches.

And then of course the holy trinity of GodRunners God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

God has the best record. Tonight was his 49th match for DR, so he will make it 50, next match. He made it 48 straight before he missed last match. But he was ready for DR's 50th celebration and managed DR's sole casualty tonight.

Holy Spirit of course has suffered a permanent decrease in his strength but his daintiness' is almost unheard of as he sores over the opponents as the Ghost he is, and takes the ball away from them. He has only missed two matches so it is 48 for him.

Jesus is of course the teams and the leagues real living legend aspiring for the HoF as soon as he retires. But he has no reason to do so. He has never been permanently injured, but he has actually been SI bad enough to miss next match 5 times. Still he played his 47th match for DR tonight, cause he has once been rescued from a MNG after the last cross over match by DR's 2nd place in the group. When he was also injured MNG in that very next match, DR was out of the end game of the season, and Jesus was of course ready for the next match, the first of next season. But even so he is still 2 matches behind the most annoying player in the league: God.

DR is ready to face the most hard hitting team of the season next match Olvig Vikings, and we have a full team of 15 players and money to induce. So that should be enough. And after last seasons semi final where we took them out without seriously harm we are not intimidated by the Vikings. We can't wait to kill Egil Uldsson and let every one else relax a bit.

And when that match is won we are already sure of the 1st spot in our group.

Jesus @ 200 spp & DR is no. 1 in group B
With another fantastic achievement Jesus reached the magic 200 spp already the match after he became most experienced. This time he both made three completions to get DR ahead 3-0 then he BH the ball carrier in a blitz, only to get the ball for him self later and score for 4-0 and then as the icing on the cage he scored the last TD for 5-0 to end on exactly 200 spp!

This was the match
Divine Rats - Double Dodgers (Season XXI, round 6)

In spite of Jesus' domination on the pitch (being involved in all five TDs) he let his mummy The Mother get two of these TDs and for that she received the MVP and has already learned her 2nd skill two matches after she returned from her latest uprising.

With this win DR takes the lead in Group B with 8 point and a stunning 17-4 TD difference. 5 TDs in each of the last three matches is an amazing feat (made possible by Jesus) since DR had only once before scored 5 TDs in one match. (15-1 is the difference these last three games).

Only mishap of the match was that Buddha obtained a niggling injury, but at least we also kicked well back here, with 5 cas vs. 5, and Double Dodgers suffered two permanent stat decreases vs. only 2 MNG and the niggling for us.

So all in all a total victory for DR once again!

We cannot wait to get our hands on that trophy - this season belongs to DR and Jesus!

Jonathan giv aldrig op Glem de nederlag!
A song from an old Danish hit single came up for coach Kynde after he once again beat the living S*** out of the inferior Skaven from BBK Stjernepladsen! :D Two cross-over within four matches

This second time was in the match:
BBK Stjernepladsen - Divine Rats (Season XXI, cross-over 4)

And this was also the match where Jesus with three of five TDs and three completions (two for the other TDs) reached the goal and became the leagues most experienced player with 189 spp! One ahead of Synne Buch.

Read all about the famous Jesus in the news flash on his profile! And "please" note his 7th skill!

All in all it was a great match, although Balder B was killed! But he was weak armoured and dirty, and a quick trip back to Valhalla has cured both of these ailments, and he will be ready for the next match as Balder C. And he did go out in style by SI Rat Ogre Jürgen Klinsmann -AG just before getting fouled to death himself!

Both The Mother and Uranus learned new skills (the runner in her very fist match).

Only really sad thing is that God will miss next match. It is not anything important, but he had played in every single match for DR since the start, 48 straight starts. He will be back for the 50th match, but cannot celebrate his own 50th match for DR before no. 51.

But he did fine, and even managed a casualty himself before getting hit himself.

With 6 points in four matches we are looking to take first spot when we have played the next match!

5 TDs in a row - Jesus becomes a legend!
With 5 TDs against nil and two completions (17 spp) in today's match:
Hellbringers - Divine Rats (Season XXI, round 3)
Jesus became the only 2nd legend in Aros. He is only 11 spp behind only other legend Synne Buch who has long ago retired. At the moment he ties 2nd most experienced with an old star player "Suset", but has far surpassed Hans, who died 14 spp short of legendary status.

The top scorer by a fair margin amongst the active players, Jesus is tied 3rd on the all time League Top Scorers list, now only one TD away from tied 2nd. But still 10 to go to Hans!

For some time he has been fighting with fellow team mate Buddha to be 2nd on the active top thrower list, and he is currently one completion behind him (but together they have one more than no. 1 on the list: Ko Π).

But his two completions today also took him into the all time top thrower list with 31 completions! He is the only non-thrower position on this list! With just one more completion he would shove great throwers like Yaviere Elfbane, Amigo and Angeleyes out of the top 15 list!

And finally with his legendary status he has obtained his sixth skill: Leap to go with AG 5 and MA 10, and also a 7th skill, which is called: "please kill me" :D

Apart from all the fuss about Jesus and his new status, we had a great match where the apotech could take a day off and only three line rats was seriously injured enough to miss next match.

But we earned the maximum amount of money and without expenses that was just enough to bring The Mother of Jesus back on to the roster after she (as Fallen Madonna) was snuffed by a piling mummy in the previous game.

We are now back on track with a full roster as Poseidon already joined the team before this match to take the place of Zeus.

We are now ready to take on any team in the cross over, but first the coach will go to Sweden, Göteborg, to learn something about how to destroy the disease that is all the other races in this league! See you later!

Rematch already! We can't wait to win!
Already in round 2 we have the clash of the season. The rematch of the final with the champs Bones & Bandages vs. us the runner ups.

This time we will teach them who can score TDs. And maybe we can take the casualty score to a more reasonable and even score!

We can't wait to show who the real champs should have been!

Be there next tuesday for the clash of Titans :D

A perfect start for DR after the final.
Taking 13 cas against in the final vs. Khemri, was still vivid in the memory, so DR was happy to face off with a Skaven team that just "made" it into the upper bracket:

Divine Rats - BBK Stjernepladsen (Season XXI, cross-over 1)

The match was played almost safe all the way, but with a little setup caused by the weather going from sweltering heat to pouring rain.

But 2-0 in front looked quite safe late in 2nd half. However a one turner on a quick snap did give us reason the be careful not to end in a tie, but then the crowd took matters in their own hand and rioted until almost the end of the match.

Good start and both Fallen Madonna and Thor B learned new skills, only one line rat received a permanent injury and Jesus continued to show why he is the most experienced player with a TD and a completion.

Sadly we are in group with both Olvig Vikings and Bones & Bandages, 1st and 3rd along with us 2nd (and Double Dodgers 4th) from last season. But the other teams are not so tough and we have had an easy cross today. We are looking good, and even have money in the bank!

This is our season, 3rd time in the final will be the charm!

Agonizingly close…Again!Øv Øv og 3x Øv
This time we really believed in the Gods. 15 players ready and all the six veterans fit for fight. And we kept getting breaks going our way, just when it looked bleak during the final:
Divine Rats - Bones & Bandages (Season XX, Final)

As in all the play-off matches the first half did not go well. But it was only 7 KOs and a BH on God who was saved by the team apotech, so we still potentially had all players ready for the rest of the match when Bones & Bandages scored for 0-1.

And with Holy Spirit awoke he made a fantastic quick snap one turner to tie the game. Jesus then woke up to 2nd half and we fielded 11. A perfect TD for 2-1 was the result, but we made a grave mistake which gave the Khemri's a blitz on Holy Spirit and BH he where.

This hampered our efforts to stop them scoring for 2-2, and in the end God could not repeat his success from earlier matches. Overtime!

But we still had 9 players after 5 of 6 came back from the KO, and two GodRunners. But once again Jesus was taken down by a mummy breaking into our cage. And though only stunned he was fouled BH next turn. But this time it was God who saved the day with a remarkable recovery of the ball, in the rain against a mummy, and later blitzed his way out of an inverted cage to get it to 3-2.

But now also the last runner Fallen Madonna was injured, and God was alone to try an stop the Khemri train. For a second a riot seemed to hold up the game, but no, the ref did re-set the time so the Khemri's had their time to score. And when Zeus fell on his last move to blitz the ball carrier our chance of stopping the tying TD also ended and the match went to 3-3.

And then it was penalty shoot out, and we did match B&B's shoot twice, and only because they still had a team re-roll left. But they did and thus one higher was not enough, neither the first nor the second time. So in the end we had to take 2nd place again, two seasons in a row!

We did in principle have a one turn attempt, but only God showed up on the LoS and could of course do nothing. Interesting that the first player to become BH was the only one left on pitch at the very last turn. Some potent juices the team apotech Jakob had filled him with!

The only two other players not to be in the injury box at this time, and thus the only two not to be injured, was Frej B and Zeus who both failed to wake up from KO before the last turn. Frej B received the MVP for being the only line rat to achieve this feat!

In total we suffered 13 casualties and 12 KOs. 10 of the latter came back in and 1 of the BHs. We where very lucky that it was 8 BH and 4 MNG! Only newest line rat FrejA where send back to Valhalla, but she did play an important part in our last TD where God scored for 3-2. She made the push that gave him an "easy" blitz for the TD. All rats where at some point either injured or KOed, and those "only" KOed was at least KOed twice. Most players where KOed once before they where injured! Amazing that we still have 15 players ready for next season - and there will be a next season, third time in the final is the lucky one!

Just to make it clear that it was not all a one way train, there where actually only 11 of the 15 Khemri ready for the last overtime half. Cause three had been send of for fouling, and the one KO Zeus made during the entire match, failed to wake up in his three attempts… So 12-1 in KO, 13-0 in cas, 1-0 in kill. We almost equaled them there :p

As for our three TDs they where beautifully executed and with style in the reverse order of the usual mentioning of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

God has played in all 44 matches for DR without ever suffering a MNG! Holy Spirit has only missed two matches, one of these of course after he broke his collarbone. So he has played 42 matches for DR. Jesus has missed three, but none permanent, so also he totals 40+, with 41 matches for DR.

With their TDs they have all moved up on several rankings:

On the League Top Scorers list Jesus has now caught up with the 33 TDs of no other than Squik A'lot and shares 5th spot. It should though be mentioned that the squiker did so in only three active seasons! But during those he almost scored all TDs for Headz'n'Tailzz BBC.

Jesus is now three clear of nearest opponent Kress von Kressenstein on the Active players only list. The human thrower still has the 3rd place match to try to improve… or die! He is only one ahead of Holy Spirit who with 29 TDs are tied 9th on the all time list, with the other Headz'n'Tailzz BBC top runner Zpeedy Gonzales'dangudiz'. And after him 4th on the active list is God with 21 TDs. Two from entering top 15 on the all time list. This means we have the active top scorer as well as no. 3 and 4!

With his TD Jesus came within 2 TDs of becoming as experienced as Hans, and is comfortably in 3rd place on the Most Experienced Players list with 156 spp. Only 20 (7 TDs) from the legend status! The only player to have ever achieved this in Aros is Synne Buch and with 8 TDs Jesus would even surpass her experience level. Holy Spirit has now moved to no. 13 on the list. By doing so he pushed out Ramses the 5th with whom he had shared 15th spot.

On the active player list Jesus is of course 1st, Holy Spirit is 3rd and God 7th. Only four players have surpassed 100 spp.

Apart from our Super Star GodRunner trinity we also have three stars also from the original team. That means more than half of the original 11 are still playing for DR after four seasons and 44 matches. Most notably of these are Loke, a line rat that has only suffered a speed decrease during all these matches. The final was his 40th match for DR. He is by far the most valued player with 7 MVPs in these 40 attempts. He has both made a TD and a completion, and then 6 casualties one a kill. So he is extremely experienced for a line rat! But Loke is also known for his cunning. For instance learning kick to keep him of the LoS and then block to stay up longer. And lately Fend has kept him out of frenzy and piling-on range!

But of course the real star on the team is Zeus, who swooped out his claw very early. This season he has not been too effective with only 5 casualties, but with a TD and an MVP he became a star anyway. 42 matches have he played for DR. With 22 casualties he is closing in on the 27 needed on the top hitters list, but at least he is 7th amongst the active hitters. With the kill in the semi final he also progressed to tied 8th on the active killer list.

Finally the team star thrower Buddha should be mentioned. He did not produce any completions in the final, but he did manage the hand-off for the one turner by Holy Spirit. But with the completion in the semi final he broke the 30 barrier, and with 31 completions he is tied 14th on the all time League Top Throwers list. Amongst the active he is in 2nd place, even though it is with only half as many completions as no. 1 Ko Π. His closest competitor is surprisingly not a thrower! But none other than Jesus with 28 completions. He is thus only 3 completions from entering the all time top thrower list, which would be a first for a non-thrower position. If he and Buddha can reach 32 they will even push out three famed throwers of the top 15!

The final was Buddha's 41st match for DR, so all six players from the original team has now played 40+ matches, totaling only two permanent injuries over 250 matches, and only 12 other MNGs!

Alas the rest of the team is not much worth totaling 8 permanent injuries, and compared to the 27 skill on the six, they in total have 5 skills! This is one of the keys that we still have to become a better team, so we can take that dammed cup next season!

We have proved over the last four seasons that we are the most consistent team in the league. Four times in the play-off, three times in the semi final, one 3rd place and two times in the final for 2nd place.

With the exception of Elf Huggers, the x-champs whom we took out in the quarterfinals this season, we are the team that has fared best. Elf Huggers have played 45 matches vs. our 44, and they also have three semi finals, a 4th, a 3rd, but only one final, however, they took 1st place (from us :().

And what scalps we have taken this season. Of course the x-champs Elf Huggers, and before them last seasons 3rd Odder Undertakers who got that after beating this seasons champ Bones & Bandages. Those we did take last season in the semi, but not now when it really counted! And of course the victory against Olvig Vikings did feel very good, and even though we still do not know who takes 3rd, we know that we have beaten them this season, as we also won against Double Dodgers in the group play

At the moment we are as popular as ever (FF 12), have 15 players that will be ready for the first match of season XXI (with a TV of 2.080.000), we have money in the bank (although we only earned enough in the final to cower our expenses) and thus is in a better position than ever before to claim the championship. And so we will… next season!

God and Jesus got us in the final!
What a marvellous match we had in the semi final! Drawing our worst opponent so far and out beating them in every aspect of the game:
Olvig Vikings - Divine Rats (Season XX, semi-final)

With two defeats and a cas score of 3 vs. 16 (0-3) in the group play of the last two seasons we did not give much for meeting the Vikings in a semi final. Cause even with a win how much of the team would be ready for a final?

So we had hired two extra apotechs and a wizard (just for fun, as they never work in the play-off!) But we needed none of these stuff really!

In the first drive Jesus made an uncontested TD early on for 1-0. But this half was won by God. At the end of the half the Vikings were looking to tie, but God was standing next to ball carrier Inge "Markhalm" Grims, and they just could not move him away. And in the end the impossible had to be attempted, dodging away from God. To his credit Inge "Markhalm" Grims did make it a third of the was to the EZ, but then God just followed along and next he were dived to the ground!

We had the typical rough ride in the Vikings 2nd half drive, but they only managed to make KOs, although 9 of them, to leave 10 in the box. But with 6 back for the last one turn attempt we fielded 9. And then for the third time the last two matches the crowds gave us a very useful riot. This time giving the ref a reason to give us an extra turn, and the three remaining runners (God took a deserved rest in the KO box) came into scoring position.

We almost lost Holy Spirit for the final, but the teams own apotech Jakob reversed the speed decreasing foul to a BH, so he will be ready in the final. And very important this is, as he is a fine weapon against the Khemri cage! This left the TD to Jesus, and with a perfect pass from Buddha he just managed to grab it. And then it was just showing off with his speed as he made it over the EZ for the winning TD for 2-1. We still had the wizard handy for a potential overtime!

With his two TDs Jesus has now moved to 6th place on the top score list and are again no. 1 two clear of Kress von Kressenstein on the active players list. He also passed the 150 spp mark.

And only Brage A was badly injured and will miss next match. As in the last two matches the SI linerat received the MVP and as the other two he also learned a new skill, Fend. But this will not be used before next season. But he will be happy to watch his team take home the gold from the stand.

Zeus made his 4th kill to move in to top 10 on the active top killer list, a permanent kill on Herluf Frodesson. And Uranus also had another great match. This time he made his first casualty, a BH on no other than berserker menace Egil Uldsson. This is the first time a vermin other than Zeus has made spp for DR since the beginning of season XVIII. Hopefully it will only be the beginning for Uranus. Last match he took down stand firm blitzer Nullergøj to allow Jesus to score,! And this time he made a very important stun in the extra turn, that hence gave him a free run for one more blitz in the last turn. This also took a player down and that was the reason Jesus made the catch and the TD!

Since we are now facing a fouling team again in the final against Bones & Bandages we have re-hired FrejA thus giving us a line up of 15 players, including of course the fabulous GodRunner trio, who will take the gold home for us. So we pray to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit!

The Champions Stoppers: DR!
For the second season in a row did DR take out the reigning champions in the quarterfinals. Last season it was Greyhavien Renegades and in yesterdays match
Divine Rats - Elf Huggers (Season XX, ¼-final)
Elf Huggers had to give up on defending their title!

In the first half we did not think much of our chances. The first block of the match send Brage A out BH. But after that they never kept our players off pitch due to two babes and two apotechs that saved the next two injuries which was also just BH.

But we did not know this at the time, and when our lousy wizard repeated his effort from last seasons final once again failing to hit his target with his lightning bolt we did not believe it should be the match to turn our string of defeats to El Fuckers.

But two riots in second half, the first to leave only a little more than half a half, thus enabling us to wait with the score for 1-1 until the dying seconds of 2nd half, and another to remove any chance for Gno to score a flying TD, send us into overtime for the second match running. And still with a full team, as God had just been saved after he was BH by Nullergøj.

Once more Jesus almost failed us. He scored the first TD, but the second he should score in 1st overtime half was stopped when he failed the last dodge. So simple a dodge he should never miss in such a tight spot. But luckily the orcs could neither get at the ball and Jesus got right back up and saved the day.

Apart from this it was God’s match. In the first half he held up 3 BOBs that hit on him repeatedly before one of them almost fell. They did manage to get him down but it was a tough and even fight. Three strong BOB against a little God!

And then he held Jesus free from any blitz, taking a BH injury to secure the tie in regular time. But the apo kept him on, and in the last turns he was standing next to the only serious scoring threat Arrg and when the blitzer had to try a dodge he dived him down. Thus ensuring a clean victory for DR!

For the second match in a row our MVP went to the line rat that will miss the next match. This time it was Balder B. Our low armoured line rat will be ready again for the final, and he has now learned a skill that can help him get off pitch in one piece. He is now very dirty!

Last match it was Frej B who learned wrestle and he is now ready for the semis. He now has the speed as a hobgobo and the agility of a mummy, but he can take the opponent down block or not.

And finally after some time playing for the now retired Zhatan's Re-Animated Odin returns again as Odin B after his time as Odin ReAnimated.

This addition will take DR up to 14 players for the semis and outrageous high number of player for one match, that has not been obtained since the first match this season. We have finally build the team back to strength after the though season in the strong group A. Three group A teams are still in the semis, only the weak orc team Army Of Lovers spoils the group A domination in the end-game.

We have never had so many players with skills on the team at the same time, and with our three stars, the GodRunner trinity and Fallen Madonna back on pitch we are as strong as ever. This time we will make it all the way!

Saved by the Holy Spirit not Jesus!
In tonight’s round of 16th we where in trouble all through the match mainly due to the miserable performance by Jesus. But in the end we came out on top most of all thanks to Holy Spirit.

But first the match
Odder Undertakers - Divine Rats (Season XX, 1/8-final)
had to go both in to overtime and finish with a nerve wrecking penalty shoot-out.

Nothing seemed to go our way and for the first time ever, after 40 matches straight, it looked like we would not even score a single TD. But we had one turn left, and a pith invasion down towards Odder Undertakers EZ helped as it opened up and it was thus easy to push Holy Spirit ahead and he scored the tying TD with much grace.

He also scored for 2-2 in over time (and it should be said that Jesus did hand the ball to him on both occasions) but had Jesus just done his job a little better we would not have needed all the help we needed in the end of 2nd half and at the end of the overtime.

Jesus could have scored for 1-0 but failed on the last dodge to get away. Later he had the ball after top Runner Holy Spirit had taken a strong Ghoul down. But he failed a dodge away from a tackle zombie. And twice more he had trouble getting his TZ on the ball carrier to help God who really tried to be a pain to the Undeads.

It should be mentioned that he actually did manage to hit Fallen Madonna with a long bomb that needed to bounce correctly because she was too far away to throw it directly. But then the lousy Fallen Madonna failed the catch.

All in all had Jesus fared a little better we had won in regular time 2-0 at least. And of course all this also resulted in Fallen Madonna’ fall in AV :p

Nevertheless we made it to the shoot out and rolled a clean 6 to just beat the shoot from the Undeads. And thus we are once again in the quarterfinals, whereas the woodies from Greyhavien Renegades, that we did not bother to beat in the last cross over, of course did not make it :p

And though we have two players missing the game (including MVP receiver Frej B who now has the agility of a mummy but also has learned wrestle) we will be able to bring back Heimdal B so we can field 12 players.

And although 6 of these twelve are merely rookies we have three stars to guide their way, and of course the marvellous super stars: God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. At the moment the two latter share 2nd spot on the active top scorer list with God in 4th place with only Kress von Kressenstein two ahead. But he is the sole TD scorer on Double Dodgers having scored exactly 2/3 of all the teams TD’s over 33 games! We have three players that have scored more than any other active players. And the two top scorers are now in shared 9th place on the league top scorer list.

And with such players it should of course be plenty of talent to go all the way!

This was the first win in 6 matches. The longest no win streak for DR. But now we will at least make it four wins in a row!

We made it through after our 40th match!
This entire season, especially the last five matches has been a tough one. Four kills early in the season on three positional players, and we had too little to fight with during our last many matches.

And today's match: Greyhavien Renegades - Divine Rats (Season XX, cross-over 9) was no different regarding the luck.

Luckily we had the other kind of luck, so our closest competitors Deranged Damsels whom we could only tie with two matches ago, did not win their last cross over against Bones & Bandages. So thanks to the Khemries we are through to the play-off.

And even though we had all the bad luck in the world against Greyhavien Renegades with a pitch invasion taking down almost half the team (at least if we count the rock hitting us next drive) etc. etc. we did have yet another type of luck.

First of all the bad result did not take us out of the equation and more importantly the elves did only inflict one single BH with the help pf the crowd, after Holy Spirit failed a pick-up in the rain and thus where pushed out.

So now we will enter the round of 16th with 13 players, the first time we have had more than 12 of our own since those last five matches. And the team is getting better.

We have all the positional players we wish for and two of the "rookie" linos now has skills.

Most importantly we can celebrate that Buddha has become a star with no less than four completions today. And finally he obtained those extra arms he has longed for since his first completion forty matches ago.

Yes it is another celebration. DR played their 40th match today, and there are still six players left from the original team. And Buddha is one of the six, and he was also the last to become a star. Of course he had not played in all forty, so far he has missed three, but sports no permanent injuries.

The only player to have participated in every single match is of course God. The runner has suffered 6 casualties, but only one worse than BH, a SI that was healed by the team apotech.

He is of course one of the three original GodRunners who all became superstars before any of the other three became stars: God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The other two actually has much more SPP than God, but both has missed more than one match and Holy Spirit has suffered a permanent injury.

Apart from the thrower the other two stars from the original team, is of course claw wielding Zeus who has also missed a couple of matches, and the most popular player on the team line rat Loke with 7 MVP. He has suffered one permanent injury and three other MNG, but still 36 matches for a line-rat…

We feel ready for the play-off with these 3 super stars and 3 stars. There are seven others to protect them, and 13 players in total, the holy number. We can still claim the 1st place, our lack of luck, must have stopped tonight!

Almost no harm done against the Vikings!
After a horrible season with numerous kills and many permanent injuries it was a relief to get through the match against Olvig Vikings with only one line rat dead!

In the match
Olvig Vikings - Divine Rats (Season XX, round 8) the Vikings inflicted two less injuries than last time, and one less kill. This time we even tried to use a hired apotech on this kill, but to no avail. This is the third hired apotech that have failed this season. The most prominent fail was when Muhammad was not healed!

But apart from that our own apotech prevented Zeus from missing the next mach and only one other linerat will not be ready!

BUT BUT BUT! With all these great news comes the sad, that even with 8 players for the last few turns we could not prevent the loss of the match it self.

Several times did Jesus have chances to get the ball from the ball carrier but either he went down him self (in spite of all the team practice) or he failed a simple dodge on the way to the blitz. Also the Vikings had to score quickly to win, and we had a chance to even the score with a one turner. But nothing went really wrong for the Norse and everything did for us, when trying to stop them. At least they had no luck stopping us for our two TD (God made his first TD since becoming a super star). But a perfect defence left no hope for tying for 3-3.

And with this loss we now need points in the last cross over match, if we wish to be sure to progress to the play-off. Of course the other teams can play us into the play-off, but it seems more likely right now with still several matches to be played from the upper bracket, that we will need at least one point in the cross to be in the play-off.

It has never failed for DR* and should not do so now!

At least we finally earned some money and will be able to both purchase back the killed Tyr A who returns as Tyr B and once again get Madonna back as well. She will now, after two kills, be known as The Fallen Madonna with the big b#####s. :D

So 12 players will we be able to face-off with for the cross! But if that will be enough depends a lot on which opponent we shall meet.

Of course right now we are hoping to meet the smashed up Greyhavien Renegades that we also easily took out last season (when they where smashed up as well). But there are still 7 matches to be played in the Upper Brackets and almost all of them can change which team we can face. So we will have to be patient to find out!

But we are prepared and for the first time in a while we will be able to field not only 12 of our own players, we will also have four GodRunners again!

*(For the coach it would be the tenth season straight if he makes it to the play-off. Last nights match was actually Kynde’s 100th match in Aros with his two teams, the other being Deadly Doom that managed 61, and this match yesterday was the 39th for DR).

A close tie with the dames in the heat!
We managed to scramble a 2-2 tie home against the Dames in:
Deranged Damsels - Divine Rats (Season XX, round 7)

It could have been our match after the Dames let us receive leading to and easy TD by Jesus. But we failed to remove any Damsels and when the heat then took out five of the 11 players ready, including Jesus, Zeus and Buddha, and with God getting KOed in the first blitz (for the rest of the match) we hardly had any chance to stop the tying TD. All kudos to Holy Spirit for trying and almost succeeding by striping the ball away just before the half ended. But it was not enough.

Two more times did he manage this in the second half, but then he had to go down himself to wrestle it out, and a pass laser a Dame ran away from also Jesus who had been smacked down. He actually caught up with her, but then failed and went down himself. So the dames got ahead.

Lukcily there was plenty of time left and Jesus and Holy Spirit managed to connect for the tying TD in the last moment. Of course Holy Spirit received the MVP for this match!

This was Jesus 26 completion for Holy Spirit's 26 TD. Jesus TD was his 27th and he is now again top scoring leader amongst the active players, all-time 8th! And he is fourth on the all-time most experienced list. Only one TD from top 3!

A single kill did we manage, and although the apo saved her, Loke became the first lino to become a star on DR. He has been with DR since the beginning and is the most valued player on the team with six MVP vs. Jesus' "only" five. He has so far only missed 4 out of 38 matches so the next will be his 35th match for DR. Only other star on the team is Zeus. The GodRunners are of course all Super Stars.

Our next match is not one we are looking forward to with only 12 players ready. Last time we faced the Vikings we did not fare well:
Olvig Vikings - Divine Rats (Season XIX, round 3)
But this time we are the ones who will be able to induce players and such, so hopefully we can make it work better.

With only 8 point and several teams that could manage to catch us and a high scoring average in Group B we do not feel secure yet on a spot in the play-off. We are sure that just one point will be enough, but if we do not take it from Olvig Vikings we might not have too many players to face the opponent in the cross over, and that could be yet another killer team!

And for the second match in a row (fourth this season) we hardly earned any money to replace our killed stars… At least our fans did not dislike the tie so we keep the good support!

Double skull RR. Next block double skull
That headline sums up our game today:
Gruesome Grinders - Divine Rats (Season XX, round 6)

Jesus did manage to score for 1-0 but that was lucky considering the bad blocking of the other rats. We received and managed to take one down in 10 dices, using a RR and getting one of our own KOed. Still Jesus' fantastic speed and agility allowed us to get the TD.

But since none of our players would come back from the KO box this day there where nothing to do. We only had 11 players to start with, after turn 1 we had 10 (ie. T1 10). Then T2 8, T2 7 (we had turn two twice because of a riot), T3 6, T4 5, T6 4, T8 3. 2nd half. T1 2. T8 3.

And of course a GodRunner died. For the second time this season Madonna died. This time in the incarnation Maria. We wonder if we will even manage to buy her back, cause even with 11 players on the team we have so much spiralling expenses that we did not even earn any extra money this match. Thus we are still not able to hire any players!

After starting out with 14 players we are now down to 12 even with two new players bough this season. In only 6 matches we have suffered 4 kills and enumerable SI. For the second match in a row we will only be able to field 11 for the first drive.

Hopefully our luck will turn soon.

2 more wins and a good tie!
The coach has been very busy explaining that this is the first bulletin after the three last matches:

The two first - victories:
Divine Rats - Blood Bowl Bunnies (Season XX, cross-over 2) and Divine Rats - Double Dodgers (Season XX, round 4)

And last match gave a tie:
Army Of Lovers - Divine Rats (Season XX, round 5)

As opposed to the first two matches where big profiles left the team this time only Heimdal A had to take a trip back to Valhalla, and that was already overdue!

The victories in the first two matches where never in jeopardy, whereas we had to use every trick in the book to get up 2-1 against Army Of Lovers, and then too few players did not leave any real chance to stop the orcs from tying. But we have still not been beaten by the Orc coach! Ever ;-)

We took a terrible beating against the Orcs with 9 vs. nil cas. But only one kill and each of our two induced mercenary linerats went out in the two first blocks of the match. Actually when the match was over the eight linerats we had started out with was all in the cas box. And then Jesus was also there, but only BH.

Left during the last turns where only the three other GodRunners and Zeus who scored his first TD on a long pass by Holy Spirit. That was for 2-1 and the performance ensured the tie. Holy Spirit had provided such a chance earlier by leaping over the wall of orcs and running in a one turn TD at the end of first half. With only 5 other rats on pitch to help him!

The reason the über Rat has not been able to write bulletins after the last two matches, was because he were out shopping for a new home. And this has now been settled and the new mansion is purchased for a value clearly exceeding the total value of last season's champs!

This took some time, but now the rats are ready to move into the suburbs of Århus (Tilst), although first after the summer. Then Divine Rats will be ready with new home base/stadium for next season!

And now to celebrate and recuperate the über Rat will take a week off from BB and the bright world in general and go down to the deep Netherlands, below sea level.

See you next week.

Winning again feels great!
Who then cares that a useless Rat Ogre like Muhammad dies. He was just a liability to the team, and though fun to watch him go berserk it did not help. As he is not really a god he cannot return again any more and it is not a plan to find another prophet!

It felt good to completely rule the pitch for the entire first half, taking out the darkies to the KO box and scoring both with Jesus and God (on a blitz). 2nd half was not quite so great, but we did run around corners with the elfs for most of the half, but ran out of players, and all three runners including Star Hakflem Skuttlespike.

But a 2-1 win is good enough with only 9 regular players ready in the match:
Hellbringers - Divine Rats (Season XX, round 3)

Only annoying thing is that once again we will miss players, especially Jesus will be missed next match. But since this will be against Blood Bowl Bunnies, the trice fairest team, we hope to be able to field 11+ of our own after that. Also Madonna plans to return after that match.

And we have already had a much better start than last season with a win in only two tries, not four. This time our wizard even managed to take three elfs down, killing one of them! Maybe we will use wizards also in future matches? Although the sting from the miss in the final still hurts!

It is nice to see four players return to the roster though! Their combined 11 skills will make up for those 8 that are missing after this match. And once again we will be the ones to induce for a change.

New player Profile for all DR's players
After last season we have updted all active players profile, even now deceased Madonna.

This means sorting out the random input posted on the players during the season.

So go and have a look at your favourite GodRunner or other rat diety.

May God, Jesus and the God be with us, now Madonna is gone! ;)

Sorrow! Madonna is dead! We hate dwarfs!
We thought it was mainly wizards that we hated, but it turned out that dwarfs are on our hating list too after the horrible match:
Divine Rats - Maca'Chobaich (Season XX, cross-over 1)

Everything we did this match failed. Several double 1 on easy go for its, at least two times with RR used on one dodge, then another dodge also comes up with 1. And twice!!! Go for it to blitz, use RR then double skull! The first time it was to get God's diving tackle on the ball carrier before the last turn, with no RR for the dwarfs and more than one TZ on the runner. But then of course we fail. And before this we have failed to use the blitzing start due to a double 1 and when we did get the ball the 1 RR spend and then 1 on dodge after Jesus had obtained the ball came up.

And that was just first drive! The one turn attempt stopped before it began when Muhammad went wild in stead of blitzing. Even with RR (double 1 again) and another D1 to not even complete a pass, just to twist the knife.

In second half the dwarfs must have made about 7-8 go for it each of the first three turns without using more than one RR, and they never rolled a double skull in the entire match, not that they did not roll blocks a lot!

But we still made a fairly easy TD for 1-1 by Madonna. But first after the injury total and the KO on Muhammad had left us with only 8 players to defend for the rest of the half.

And here we would like to plead for someone to kill Lachlan Colquhoun. At this time he had already forced both Holy Spirit and Zeus to miss next game. And the apotech had been needed to reduce the damage on Zeus to just that. That along with two other SI inflicted by the dwars, amongst other a MNG on kicker Loke. But it was not enough. Although she ran for her life during the last three turns, another double 1 failed go for it by a linerat, made it just possible for Lachlan Colquhoun to reach Madonna in the very lat turn (before the dwarfs would have scored without risking any RR) and thus Madonna were savagely killed just before we had made it through this horrible defeat without any permanent injuries.

We did not even earn enough money to put a bounty on the sucker!

9 players are we left with for next match, but at least three of our super stars will return un-damaged after that match along with a maimed line rat, but this was not what we envisioned for our first match in season XX. I'm afraif it will be a XX season - Banned!

And this was the cross over, which means we where not even sure to face these horrible dwarfs, that we now twice have faced in a cross over!

Olvig Vikings is in our group so we are looking forward to that beating, but apart from that, we do not fear any of the rest of the teams in our group so that is not so bad. At least we have drawn the thrice fairplay team Blood Bowl Bunnies in the second cross over, so if we can just survive the next match and that against the Vikings, we still have high hopes for DR this season.

It will, however, take some time to get used to not having almost super star Madonna on the team. She will return though, for her Garden of Eden any day now!

Just one better this season
With this modest goal, DR is getting ready for season XX.

We will not set our goal too high this season, so we will be satisfied if we can just make a small improvement on last seasons end result. Just one spot up and we will accept it as a good season!

Our GodRunner trio: God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit together with Madonna are ready to annoy any opponent, and Zeus and Muhammad are ready to scare them ;)

And as long as any wizard keep away from the team, no "innocent" bystanders should get hurt! Only their belief system will of course be shaken when they meet the Divine Rats!

We hate wizards! Failing in the final!
We had them we really had them just where we wanted them, the orcs from El Fuckers in the final:
Divine Rats - Elf Huggers (Season XIX, Final)

Getting through the first half, their receiving with no injuries was the main goal which where perfectly achieved. We let them get to 0-1 without further ado after Holy Spirit's successful attempt to free the ball resulted in nothing but two KOs on God and Madonna.

But only 3 KOs did the orcs manage and our babe helped at least the two back, so we had a full team for the last turn of the half. On contrast the orcs missed a BOB after Zeus showed him the errors of standing next to him. He also send out crazy blitzer Nullergøj KO, so the orcs were actually the ones missing three important players for second half.

But after Jesus scored - again; breaking the 120 spp barrier - two stand firm blitzers came back from KOed.

And suddenly they could make cas, two in a row and a KO on their first turn. But still we had them were we wanted - all four runners in reach of the thrower with the ball and the wizard handy.

BUT DAMMED if he is were handy with his magic. How can he miss as big a target as the Infidel Castro?!!?%¤#¤&%

Well he did :( and the rest is history. Although we fought hard after that we where running out of steam and even with all four runners in the way before the last turn, and with God marking the thrower we could not stop him, and the cup was lost.

God just wasn't with us and Jesus could not save us, although the Holy Spirit was floating over the heads of the orcs and we had send our prayers to Madonna. No the GodRunners were all there but it just wasn't enough today.

We are hugely disappointed and don't expect us to listen to any prayers for the next two months were we will go away and sulk.

But rest assured (as safe as Ammen i kirken) that we will be back for season XX and give it another go with our amazing educated rodents! :p

Beating them in TD beaten by them in cas
Yes this was the 30th match of DR and now we are in the final. Huraaaa.

In the semi final
Divine Rats - Bones & Bandages (Season XIX, semi-final)
we did not leave any chance to the slow skeletons and took a sure victory 3-0.

But it came at a dear price. For the second time this season (first against Olvig Vikings) did we suffer 9 casualties against. And only 4 BH. Our apo Jakob saved God from MNG but hence other were not so lucky: Mars went back to Olympus to Jupiter. And Tyr went to Valhalla after making it through to his 30th match.

But also two other players will miss this great match as both Heimdal A and Muhammad were SI. But then our team is not so high valued which may be our chance to induce this season. And in the final a wizard is not a bad inducement to take.

We still have 11 players ready, with the option of buying a 12th, and those players include all four runners, clawed Zeus (who where BH in the last turns of the match), our kicker Loke and thrower Buddha. Appart from Madonna the other 6 players are those that remain from the original team, and they have thus endured so far 30 matches with almost no injuries.

This season we definitely had the toughest group to play in and have played several bashing teams, even two in the play-off. But still we have only in one match failed to show up with our 4 GodRunners, and with them ready for the final, and maybe a wizard? Anything can happened.

After tonight's pain of smelling good food and having nothing, we have finally recovered and no we can almost taste the Gold again! A week from now we will claim it! Cause God is with us! :p

Busting the champs out – It felt good!
After last nights match we finally broke the spell that has thwarted our earlier attempts to beat the slippery elves:
Divine Rats - Greyhavien Renegades (Season XIX, ¼-final)

But for the first time it was an “important” match and this time we came through. And boy did it fell good to send the Champ out in the dark :D

Not only did we take him against a wizard and a ST 7 tree Oldbirch Longleaf we also managed to do this with out any injuries even though the apo kept BH Madonna in the match after she were injured in the first blitz. She won the match with a last turn TD for 3-2 and received the MVP for the feat! Thanks to Jakob our apo for choosing the right moment to use his skills.

Jesus as usual was involved in most of the match both for God and bad, but he is now only a TD from top 10 on the most experiences list, and with the TD this match he moved to 2nd on the active top scorer list behind Holy Spirit and also into the all time top scoring list in 15th position. All three runners are now in top 10 on the active top scoring list and are still in top 15 on the most experienced active players list with of course Jesus far in front and Holy Spirit in a safe 2nd spot. Amazingly Jesus is also no. 4 on the active throwers list, with our “thrower” Buddha in 8th place on this list.

With 15 players on the roster and only two matches to go we are as confident as Gods… :p

Breezing through the round of 16th!
Without any troubles at all DR moved past the orcs to the quarterfinal in the match:
Divine Rats - Gruesome Grinders (Season XIX, 1/8-final)

A small scare came in the opening of the match when first the orc fans invaded our pitch stunning all runners save Holy Spirit, and also Muhammad who was ready to frenzy an orc blitzer out. And then Jakob the apotech had to save the life of Madonna. But he did and from then on nothing could harm the rats!

Once again Jesus outshone anyone on pitch, although he did get help from Madonna after she came back on pitch. With two more TDs, one after he stole the ball from the orcs pitch passing it back to Madonna, and survied being hit by a fire ball moved him into the all time Most Experienced Players list in 12th position, just 7 points from top 10. And this puts him a TD’s spp in front of famed runner Squik A'lot!

As the only runner on his feet to begin with Holy Spirit scored the first TD and this took him into top 10 on the all time top scoring list, but he is only halfway to the record yet…

It is by now obvious for anyone that Group B was the toughest group, and all four teams to have moved on directly (without beging compared to the 5th of group A) did also move on to the qauterfinals.

Thus the remaining teams from the other three groups will have to face a group B team as those four teams are not supposed to meet each other if avoidable. But our guess is that those four team will be in the semis, so…

We are as prepared as ever with 15 players ready - Brage A being the 15th just hired. And one new skill did we also obtain as Tyr learned to wrestle after receiving the MVP.

The gold will be ours! :D

Jesus first to break the century mark!
In a poorly played match against the bunnies:
Blood Bowl Bunnies - Divine Rats (Season XIX, cross-over 7), Jesus truly shined and made two TDs and a completion, amongst this the tying TD for 4-4 in the last second. Thus he were elected MVP and this took him to 102 spp, the first to break the century mark after the restarting of the teams.

He has long been at the top of the charts for most experienced amongst the active players but now he is just 4 points away from entering the all time most experienced list.

At the moment we also has 2nd spot with Holy Spirit on 86 spp. This is even more than now deceased Ariana Deathkiss (85 spp) and the only other super star to emerge after the restart Carmen Körler was BH by us yesterday so she only managed a single TD in that game. And she will not play more matches this season as we opened the door to the play-off for Snot n' Ogres by not loosing to the bunnies, and the snotlings thus took the place from the bunnies! :p

It is thus likely that we will still have the two most experienced players after the end of this season, and with four matches more to play, Holy Spirit may also reach the 100 spp limit!

Although they are at the very bottom of the list, it is interesting to note that our other two GodRunners God and Madonna are in 15th and 14th place respectively. Thus we have 4 of the 15th most experienced player in a league of 24 teams!

All four runners are also in the top 10 on the active top scorer list, with last seasons top scorer Holy Spirit topping the list as the only one yet to have made it onto the all time top scoring list in 12th place with 23 TDs.

Jesus is 5th on the top thrower list and Zeus 8th on the top hitter list so we are also making an impact here.

And now we have progressed to the play-off as usual, in fourth position, and thus we avoided the embarrassing "best" 5th place that will go to Army Of Lovers whom we so easily beat earlier in the season. Group B's real prygelknabe :D

It will now be time to pull a rat out of the hat, and show them all that we are divine and can go all the way. Our team is ready, 14 players no MNG and four of the best players in the league along with 3 emerging stars and Muhammad! What could possibly go wrong now? ;)

Important tie tasted bitter!
Although we can use all the points we can lay or divine paws on the tie against the undeads in
Zhatan's Re-Animated - Divine Rats (Season XIX, round 6)
did not feel too god.

First of all we should have won it! And had it not been for a chainsaw and a wizard (especially the latter) we probably would. But in total those two took out three GodRunners, the wiz even forces Madonna to miss the important cross over. And that is the first time this season we begin a match without all four runners.

Also the wiz took out the other runner on pitch, Jesus. And in the beginning of the match God had been sawed to pieces by Hack Enslash, Finally a stupid move by Holy Spirit gave a wight an easy chance to BH him as well.

Secondly we lost two Nordic Gods. First Odin A fell on a dodge and got so confused he decided to play the rest of the game (and season?) for Zhatan's Re-Animated as Odin ReAnimated. And seeing this happening to ones father the first time you play the game your self can be too much for anyone. And thus Odin A's son Brage who enlisted on the team earlier that day got him self killed, and went back to Valhalla. But he claims he will return to BB soon!

But we did get a tie even under these circumstances. (We were also hit by an opening blitz and a pitch invasion against a team with more fans in the stands…) So why doesn't this at least feel good?

Because we knew we had lost the match, and only because the cowards we played against, were afraid of the super Dark Elf team from group A Death Extravagante did they refrain from scoring, thus hoping to avoid 1st place in our group B. That is weak, and we prefer loosing to a strong team rather than tying with a weak one.

That said we will be pleased to move through to the play-off and our risk of failing that has been greatly diminished by the single extra point, but any thanks will go to Death Extravagante not Zhatan's Re-Animated.

Anyway we believe we will take the victory in the cross over no matter which of the two possible opponents we meet: Blood Bowl Bunnies or Snot n' Ogres. And then this one point won't matter. And we will probably end up in 3rd place in the group standings and not so far down as fifth!

And on the good side we will earn 20 k more next match due to the lower expenses with four less players on the roster (Frej B will as Madonna miss next match).

Also both Zeus and Buddha became emerging stars during the first turn of the match. The first now has obtained guard to compensate for the loss of the one skill of Odin A, and the thrower has taken tackle in view of the many dodgers who may be on pitch in the upcoming cross over match.

And the fans are coming back now so we have high hopes, and Jesus just became the first to reach 90 spp after less than 3 seasons!

We are on our way to the championship, we can feel it, and we have already had our share of bad luck during these first rounds, so that will be done with before the play-off!

Believe in US! ;)

Killing and maiming Orc Lovers!
After the bad start of the season we finally met the prygelknaben from Army Of Lovers and took an easy victory in the match:
Army Of Lovers - Divine Rats (Season XIX, round 5)

It all became even easier as Zeus began the by SI Bubba Bonehead and continued by killing Frauke. With the orcs only making two late BHs and Holy Spirit in flying form, and Jesus in even better it only took a short while before we were decisively ahead 2-0.

And the orcs never got a chance to score for 2-2, as they had to wait for the last minute to reduce for 2-1. We do however, admire the first name of the thrower who managed this - Kynde kurveflet!

We will now have even more help from our great kicker Loke who from his MVP of the match learned to tackle better. He became the first emerging star on the team, not to be a GodRunner! However, both Zeus, Buddha and Muhammad are also closing in on that title!

We are still not all the way to the play-off but with a full team ready for next match we should breeze through! Muhammad will be back after his holiday, and with out him on the payroll this match we actually managed to scrape enough money together for the match to hire a 16th player, if we feel like it.

With the highest valued normal team in the league (Death Extravagante defies normal at the moment), we should have little trouble rolling over the undeads from Zhatan's Re-Animated whos team only value 2/3 of our team!

And finally after the horrible start of the season the fans have begun coming back to our winning team. Maybe we took three defeats in a row, but now we plan on 8 straight wins - to the championship.

Finally a WIN - against humans
After a serious drought we finally ran into some humans, that actually still have some fear of the Gods, and this gave us the season’s first victory in the match:
Double Dodgers - Divine Rats (Season XIX, round 4)

In the pouring rain Jesus’ high agility came in handy, and he was heavily involved in all our efforts, handling the ball in four out of five drives. And he stole the ball from the humans, first from the ground and second from the carrier. This gave us the 2-0 lead at half time in their receiving. Thus a 3-0 lead was soon affected, also by Jesus. Madonna made the 2nd TD.

A poor effort was, however, the only thing to call the performance of Holy Spirit. Twice he almost had the ball from the opposing catcher, but both times he let us down. But then Jesus took over once and that was enough for the victory.

Also Muhammad was not too bright, and for the third match he has been out from middle of first half and this time he will not even return for the next match. For some obscure reason he obtained the MVP for his failure?

Finally we have to complement Frej B! The last three matches he has been standing on the LoS after DR's (and the matches) first TD, and each time he has taken a hit that BH him. But he will be ready to take a fourth beating if it must be so next match against the puny orcs from Army Of Lovers!

But at least we now lift up from rock bottom, and can begin to work on moving on to the play-off!

What can we do…
Nothing seems to go our way in our match against the orcs:
Elf Huggers - Divine Rats (Season XIX, round 2)

We had the ball for a 2-1 lead in the middle of 2nd half. But no, a block by Tyr failed and only with the apotechs help do we still have Jesus on the team!

But once again the only good thing to say about this defeat is that we only suffered one permanent injury, and that on returned rookie Thor B who lost some agility. We can live with that, but not with the fact that we are still under the line where we are sure to progress to the play-off.

After never loosing more than two matches without a win, DR has now lost three in a row, four if we count last seasons exit, also against Elf Huggers.

At least our next match will be against the other bottom team, which is not so much a smashing team as the rest in our group. Hopefully we can take the important victory there and get back in business.

Maybe we can get even more help now, from our last star to emerge from the incredible GodRunner trio. God finally became a star with the MVP from the match. However this was even later than when the mother of his son Madonna became a star two matches ago, although she first entered the team sevem matches later than he. The other two GodRunners his son Jesus and his Holy Spirit already have become super stars over the last few matches.

But now God is a star, and with tackle to go with the annoying diving tackle, blodge side step combo he is just the one we need against the three catchers on Double Dodgers.

The 4 runners now posses 18 skills in total, whereas the rest of the team, in all the history of DR, only has amassed 13 skills all together. Hopefully we will soon reap the rewards for keeping four so well trained players alive and well on the team for 2½ season!?!

Get going you lousy rats, or all faith will be lost in the gods!

Only two kills!
After the massacre in the match
Olvig Vikings - Divine Rats (Season XIX, round 3),
the only way to sum it up is: There were only two kills!

We did all we could to get the ball from them, but when they take out on average one rat every turn it is difficult when the good breaks go wrong.

After Jesus scored for 1-0, Holy Spirit actually managed to take the ball away from the Vikings, but then it was caught by another and Holy Spirit was then KOed and remained this way also during 2nd half!

And when Jesus had a 73% chance to get the ball carrier down, he were KOed himself.

But at least we will be able to field 13 players for next match, and with 9 cas against, and only money for one replacement, that is a fair deal.

I guess the Norse Vikings had no fear of the Nordic gods! But Icepelt Hammerblow will fear the claw of Zeus!

Only good thing apart from having a team left, is that we can now truly call him: Jesus Christ Super Star. Because with his TD and the resulting MVP he became exactly that, and after feeling the lack of strip ball a KOed Holy Spirit casues, Jesus is now also capable in this sport! And annoying to Holy Spirit he must now see himself as only the second most experienced in Aros at the moment: Most Experienced Players.

Although at the rate Ariana Deathkiss is going she might soon overtake the two GodRunners on that list. But still we had the first two Super stars in Aros after the restart! And Madonna just became a star last match, and with the casualty God inflicted against the Vikings he is now only 2 points from stardom. When this occurs those four runners will have 18 skills between them. The remaining player's; active, retired and dead only have 13…

Hopefully 13 players will be enough against the Orcs, but we will find out tomorrow!

What a disaster.
Blitz against, pitch invasion turned against us, bad weather, failing an important dodge and a catch by our most potent playes Holy Spirit and Madonna. And not a single casualty could we make.

No wonder we could not take on last seasons champs in the match: Greyhavien Renegades - Divine Rats (Season XIX, cross-over 1)

Only bright side is that after the tree Oldbirch Longleaf had "only" BH Odin A and Balder A in the first two blocks it made, no other injuries befell us!

And with the last TD of the game going to us by Madonna who finally made a catch, she now will be the most feared interceptor in the league: Catch, Nerves of Steele and now - Pass Block.

But our fans left, and few is it that are left, and we even lost money to the spiralling expenses from our treasury for the first time ever.

And as if all this wasn't enough we have ended up in the trashing group B with the orcs, the undeads and the norse. And then from the pussy group A we meet the only real danger for us in this cross over, the champs!

This sucks :D I love BB ;)

Ready to rat it out!
After two seasons and 20 matches DR now has a full team with hardly any damages and plenty of skills. Mainly it is the GodRunner trio and the lady runner God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and Madonna that have accumulated skills, with top scorer Holy Spirit as the corner stone in both offence and defence.

But this is all for scoring. On the other end of the scale Zeus has become very dangerous, especially on the heavy teams that do not expect casualties, and finally Muhammad is now not only unstoppable, he is also unmoveable!

It is the year of the rats, and it seems we are the only rat team left, so we are going to rat it out, and take the cup this season. The season with the holy rat number, the prime number 19!

Be there next Tuesday when the Gods take their first sacrificial lamb to the alter of Blood Bowl :D

Too few players! And our luck ran out!
After last match, after which no less than 5 players could not continue to the 1st play-off round:
Divine Rats - Elf Huggers (Season XVIII, 1/8-final)
We simply had not enough to cope with the marathon match against the orcs. Not because they were particular hard-hitting compared with the dwarfs, but we had obviously used up all our luck to get the 2nd place and get Jesus into the match, and when the apo fails, on Jesus, the orcs had hit hard enough.

It turned out to be an obvious mistake to have Jesus on pitch. We thought he would be ready after his SI in last match, but he really wasn't. First he fails a simple go for it, to practically ensure a TD in the Orcs receiving half. Then he fails to pickup the once again freed ball (both time on account of great blitzing by Holy Spirit). And not only did this prevent us from getting a TD chance that half, it also gave the orcs a chance to SI the shaken Jesus. And after two SI two matches in a row, it was no wonder even his brother Jakob the apotech could not get him ready for the rest of the match. It could even have given the orcs a TD!

Still the great work of Holy Spirit was enough to make the orcs fail to score in their receiving, especially when he SI the little gobo Gno. In doing so Holy Spirit has now obtained SPP in all possible categories, one each of cas and interception, 2 each of completions and MVPs, and at that point his 19 TDs left him at 73 SPP. When he then scored his 20th with no effort in the 2nd turn of 2nd half, he became the first super star in Aros after the restart. He has now moved into 14th place on the all time top scorer list, and of course leads on the list of active players with 33% more TDs than no. 2.

Of course The Holy Spirit is the most experienced, being the only super star in the league, but apart from Jesus only 11 points behind, no other team has any players even close to him on the list. 6th on the list Madonna is only a TD from star player status and God close the GodRunner line-up in 8th place only 5 points from stardom.

Holy Spirit learned to leap, so next time even a cage is easy to enter! And with that TD he may just have secured himself a season top scorer price!?!

Zeus made an early completion, since is had lately seemed he would never make the cas he needed to improve, but having this behind him, he felt so elated that he went out and made two injuries in the remaining match. He could have chosen yet another mutation, but as razor sharp claw is no longer an option, he went for mighty blow anyway. It should be a safe bet that he makes it high on the top hitter list next year.

But no matter how we turn these nice events, it can not hide the disgrace of loosing to the SLOW orcs. We thought we had them, but maybe we were simply lured to sleep by their innate slowness? Our 3 MNG from that match won't matter, sadly, because when we next get a chance to play months from now, they have long time been ready to play.

We are very disappointed, of course, but our team is in great shape, and we will return with even more confidence for next season. Over an out, Kynde the Rat.

Jesus saved by 2nd!
2nd place was secured by his parent's perfect teamwork to turn what looked like a bitter defeat into a scoring feast towards the end of:
Maca'Chobaich - Divine Rats (Season XVIII, cross-over 8)

With 16 players ready for the last cross over (already sure to progress to the play-off) the first goal was to get through unharmed. But this failed miserably as the dwarfs kept making serious injuries. Out of a total 8 casualties only one was a mere BH, and only two were just MNG. We lost Freja who was killed early, whereas Loke can thank the apo he is not back in Valhalla to recuperate. Odin A, our only guard, broke his collar bone in a crowd push, and then Balder A and Thor A both received a niggling caused by the fat Harry Colquhoun, the first and last cas of the match (first and last turn). Finally both Buddha and Jesus would have missed next match.

But the fabulous works of the remaining three GodRunners saved Jesus. Each of them scored a TD, his father God, his mother Madonna and the sperm donor Holy Spirit! The latter also scored the first TD and stole the ball from the dwarfs for the remaining two TDs, and each of these were scored after passes by the other runner. Most noticeable was the inaccurate pass by God that nevertheless hit close enough for Madonna to catch it for the 4-2 TD in the last turn.

This was just enough to save Jesus. Cause by winning with 2 TDs DR just edged into 2nd place in group B pushing the puny elves from Greyhavien Renegades down to third. And this was very important as we can now expect Jesus to get ready from the exitment of ending 2nd. So we will have all 4 runners ready along with a total of 12 players after Frej B has returned now his sister was send back to Valhalla. But we lack 4 players, with the three line rats permanently damaged.

Holy Spirit is now no. 1 on the top scorer list of the season, and has also moved into the all time top scorer list. (He is by far the active player to have scored most TD with 19 so far).

And finally we did something the fans loved (maybe show our blood?) and we are back to the same FF as when the team began to play 19 matches ago.

It could be a difficult match in the round of 16th with only 12, but the opponent will have 300k less to induce from (or we will get it?) and if we make this we may have a full team for the quarterfinal. So we are still optimistic and think we can go one match further this season and take the Cup.

Unlucky only to tie, but Jesus shines!
Incredibly we had to settle for only a 3-3 tie in the second darkies encounter in a row:
Hellbringers - Divine Rats (Season XVIII, round 7)

We had Jesus who could do nothing wrong and scored with ease 3 times, running the ball all the way himself. (He was probably inspired by his brother Jakob, the apotech on our team, who healed him from a serious concussion early in the match).

But Hellbringers had to be lucky to score both for 2-1 and 3-2. Especially 2-1 was under hard press, and for 3-2 we got a blitz in on the ball carrier and he then forgot to care about God's special tackling abilities, but managed anyway. Also they managed to blitz Jesus at the end of first half just when he was ready to attempt a good chance of a one turner to tie the match.

But with 8 point we are once again tied in top 3 in our group. However, with one match more played. And still the group standing is so close that we are not entirely sure to move on. Any point earned in the cross over match will ensure a place in the play-offs, and we will of course win it!

For the first time we have 16 players ready to a match and at the moment we are the team with the highest TV.

Muhammad managed to make a BH almost following his master Allah who began his BB carrier by SI the wanted Benign Prostata in the final turn making room for the tying TD. With this casualty Muhammad learned to stand firm.

Along with his 3 TDs Jesus also received the MVP and he just surpassed Holy Spirit with one point as the most experienced player in the league. Who will be the first super star?

Now we are mainly looking forward to see what our next opponent will try to induce to get at least a small chance against the best team in the league…

Easy win over puny darkies & a new star!
Never have we had such an easy time getting to 4-1. After 4 turns we had received and then blitzed our way to 2-0 in the clean win:
Death Extravagante - Divine Rats (Season XVIII, round 6)

The darkies were then really lucky that Holy Spirit and Jesus did not continue their success, and despite that Holy Spirit got the ball from them and that Jesus grabbed it, Kayleen Darkscream made it 2-1 after taking down Jesus as he tried to get away from her.

This luck was not given any chance in second half, were Holy Spirit got the ball away from them twice, and first scored on a pass from Jesus and secondly Jesus scored for 4-1 after Balder A had intercepted the bitch Kayleen Darkscream when she were forced to a desperate pass attempt.

By letting the darkies score for 4-2 in the last two turns we protected our GodRunners and in our final turn Jesus managed to complete a pass to Madonna (only because of her improved catching abilities) and in this way Jesus became the only 2nd star in Aros at the moment.

DR now has both the most experienced player, Holy Spirit, and the 2nd most Jesus, the only two stars around. As it did for Holy Spirit, this event also boosted Jesus already incredible speed and he is clearly the player in the league who has increased his value the most.

With his two TDs Holy Spirit moves close to get into the all time top scoring list, and he is also only 4 more TDs away from becoming a Super Star. If he makes these he will also be a serious contender for top scorer of the season where he is currently no. 2.

From her catch Madonna received her first MVP and she has almost caught up with God in experience. They are now the 7th and 5th most experienced player in the league.

Balder A learned to wrestle after he wrestled the ball from the witch, so we hope he will have more luck than the first Nordic god to obtain this skill: Odin.

And finally Muhammad had a great match almost making no mistakes and with both a BH and a kill (that were reduced to MNG by the apo) he closes in on his next upgrade.

Only downside was that both Zeus and Loke were SI and will MNG but nothing permanent were inflicted, and with the addition of a new Godly Thrower Allah we will be able to field 14 players next match against the next easy victim… Another dark elf team: Hellbringers. Those we already took out last season, and it should be just as easy now, with all the confidence we have after this superb victory!

Incredibly another tie with a one turner
This season it seems we just can’t win, but we have yet to loose to a team from our own bracket (also in last season, so far it has only been the cross over matches we have lost!). And we are still 2nd in our group.

It seemed like an easy win:
Silvertower Guardians - Divine Rats (Season XVIII, round 5)
But when Muhammad messed up in the second turn of our receiving we got behind from the start. And we stayed like this all the way till the end. 0-1, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2 and then 2-3 with only one turn left. And then Holy Spirit stepped back on pitch and saved the day by making DR’s first one turner so far: 3-3.

But it was also a very important TD for the GodRunner himself. After missing last match and having had his strength reduced he has to prove his worth on pitch. And apart from also scoring the TD for 1-1 he had failed miserably. First he fails to make two go for it, to blitz the ball carrier giving the elves the lead 0-1. Then he has a blitz on their ball carrier at 1-1. Fails his dauntless, takes the chance with 3 dice against and fails on both attempts. So had it not been for his incredible speed that ensured the one turner he should not have been too sure of remaining on the team.

But he is the leagues most experiences player and has made 3 TD more than his next competitor and he will at least stay on the team for the rest of this season. Maybe he can even regain his ST on his next upgrade.

A one turner is not ensured by one player alone. And with the heat boiling the pitch and the players DR was lucky to have the other 7 players left needed for the one turner. Holy Spirit had also failed to be on pitch the entire 2nd half as he collapsed after the miserable first half (in which he were also KOed), so he were of course ready. But he were the only runner ready, and hence it was of utmost importance that Buddha were there to make his 3rd perfect pass in the match (taking him into top 3 on the top thrower chart for the season). And finally Muhammad made a descend effort removing an anoying elf, so the two assisting rats got free, and could help ensure the needed push. Muhammad had a miserable match, with two failed attempt to block and one to blitz, and two to move. Furthermore he also failed the block that gave the elves the lead. So his final success was very important.

Madonna also managed a TD which made her an emerging star and she is now the complete catcher with catch, nerves of stele and blodge. Next skill: Pass Block.

And hero of the day, Odin A who first killed Jastra Dawnbringer and then caught a pass and handed it on to Madonna for her TD. From all this he became the first guard on DR. This was much needed.

Sadly our fans left us even after such a spectacular match, and we once again has the same factor as when the team began. Only other mishap of the day were that Thor A fractured his skull when he took a double skull on Amileth Rainpool. The apo will not be used on such errors.

Finally we welcome new addition to the team, Mars, the new storm vermin that has come to replace Jupiter. He will soon ensure that DR’s matches becomes even more war like ;)

We killed one of the champs!
After last weeks beating we feared more of the same would happen today against the Champs in the match:
Black Widows - Divine Rats (Season XVIII, cross-over 4)

But only a MNG on Jesus and a great apo effort to heal a fractured skull on Muhammad saw only one of the two mercenary Gods suffer a niggling.

On the other hand a fantastic blitz by Loke came as such a surprise for ball carrier Pincher that it killed him! And this almost could have secured the tie. Sadly Madonna failed to pass the ball out of reach fumbling the attempt and this should have worked three out of four times, so it was very disappointing at the time.

But looking back we take the 1-2 defeat as a small victory because we still have a full team, that will be ready to put up a fight during the play-off, and we are still no worse than 3rd in our group when this round is finished. So we will surely make it all the way this time.

To Madonna's defence we should say that she did score the TD to tie the game 1-1 in 2nd half. But it turned out not to be enough. Of course as all ways we are also very unlucky against the Widows coach, and as usual his teams blitzes at least once, this time preventing our one turn chance after first half, and forcing us to use the apotech on Muhammad who were blitzed during this move!

From the match we earned maximum, but this still is not enough to hire a new Vermin, but now at least we should be sure to have him after the next match. And since our next opponent is a High Elf team, victory should be sure, as we have only ever had problems with Chaos Dwarfs and Wood Elfs. Also we already beat this team lat season!

So be there to see some God inspired BB next week.

A terrible beating!
We did tie, but it sure as Hades felt like loosing in the match:
Army Of Lovers - Divine Rats (Season XVIII, round 3)

Especially for Jupiter who were killed by star player Varag Ghoul-Chewer! Of course he has now returned to Olympus, but he will not return again as the Nordic Line Gods.

Even worse the star Holy Spirit broke his collar bone as the apo tried to cure a kill from a lousy foul. So he will not only miss the next important match against the champs, but also permanently loose ST. As he blitzes a lot it becomes a serious problem. Of course he is dauntless, but it becomes more difficult to be daunty when you are only ST 1, and when it fails the opponent gets 3 dices to choose from. Had it not been that we needed to replace a blitzer, Holy Spirit might have been send around heaven to recuperate, but know he will probably be fielded again after the next match.

On top of this Thor A will also miss the next match, so we can only field 12 against Black Widows. We earned 40k after last match, but our spiralling expenses ate half of that. This will at least not be a problem next match. But we need 70k more to hire a new blitzer.

Of course we should not forget that we did tie the match, hence we are still at the top of our groups leader board after round 3, and for some reason our fans liked the match enough to increase. And our thrower Buddha got the MVP for the completion that gave the TD for 0-1 by Madonna. He thus learned to block.

At least it looks like we will be the one who gets to induce next match for the first time this season, unless of course the Ogres from Snot n' Ogres has been harsh on the champs? One could hope :p

A new star after total victory!
With a 5-2 win we once again showed that no elf but Wood Elf can compete with the divine skavens:
Divine Rats - Blood Bowl Bunnies (Season XVIII, round 2)
This was the first time we scored more than 4 TDs in a match!

Holy Spirit scored the middle TD and that took him to 52 spp and he thus became the first star in Aros after the restart of all teams last season. With 13 TDs he is also the leagues active top scorer. With his newfound stardom he has now increased his already incredible speed even further. The spirit flies low over the BB pitch!

Jesus took a break this match, but the other three runners all made TD as well as line rat Thor A who made the first of our 5 TDs.

The Bunnies failed to make a single casualty, and we managed two, alas only BH! But much to our enjoyment one of them came from Muhammad who will now be less of a liability when he blitzes as he has learned Juggernaut. Taking out the strongest opponent and making it through the match without making any real mistakes, also gave him the MVP. So he closes in on the second skill!

Everything went as planned. Big victory, no injuries and two new skills, on top of this more fans and with the maximum possible winning we now just have enough gold to bring the two linerats Balder and Heimdal back on the roster. They will now be known as Balder A and Heimdal A to remind them they have been send home once!

Also with Jesus back again we will be able to field 15 Gods against the puny orcs from Army Of Lovers next week. Last time we faced orcs we took 3rd over Elf Huggers, and that was just after these orcs took out Army Of Lovers. So it should be a sure victory. Especially as we currently have the team with the highest team value.

Elf Huggers also just beat Black Widows, and that is nice to see, this will give us confidence that we can break them when we take them in the cross over of round 4. With Muhammad now with Juggernaut, that should be no problem!

Once again a 3-3 tie to begin with!
For the second season in a row, we begin with a 3-3 tie. This time against Wood Elf, thus improving from our last meetings which ended 4-5.

Next time we meet them (in the final) we will take them out!

The sad thing about the match:
Greyhavien Renegades - Divine Rats (Season XVIII, round 1),
was that two of our newest lineGods had to take a trip back to Valhalla to recuperate after they were killed last night. They will soon return.

Also our top GodRunner Jesus will miss next game after letting himself become injured in the first turn of the match.

The other runners did well though, with Holy Spirit scoring two TDs and thus receiving the MVP. This took him to no. 1 spot on the list of most experienced active player in the league. God made a casualty, and Madonna managed to learn block after two completions and a TD.

Although only a dozen gods will be ready for next match, we are looking forward to this with self-confidence. We have once again drawn the soft group, with all the elves, and the only elf race that can compete with the divine rats, are the Welfs, and now we have already tied them. We surely expect to win this group just as last year. And take the final as well.

It will be a great season.

Next season is near!
Here with only one week to the season opening, DR is preparing and training harder than ever. The team definitely has more practice now than at the end of last season.

But since team owner Kynde da Rat has to give up the coach trophy that helped the team so much last season, we need to do something to improve the fan-base.

Hence we have now launched DR’s own television channel to promote the team and its fabulous logo. Go here to check out the home page of DR-television.

So be there next week when the Gutter trinity God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit will outplay the opponent, in the first step to claim season XVIII.

Took 3rd place from the sissy Orcs!
What a bunch of sissies on Elf Huggers. Well it is obviously only elves they f**k over, not Divine Rats, not a single casualty inflicted!
So without much trouble did we take the 3rd place in the match:
Divine Rats - Elf Huggers (Season XVII, 3rd place)

A match for 3rd is of course never really interesting… We were supposed to play in the final! But the team that are now the champs cheated us from that chance. Well we will be back next season to take the trophy away from them.

Again as in last match Muhammad did his best to stop our own team, first frenzying himself into a one dice both down, and then later KOing him self on a failed go for it that could have given him a blitz on the ball carrier. But KOing himself helped us as he then were out of the equation and from then it was easy to stall the Orcs so they suddenly could not reach the EZ in time.

Jesus ensured that the ball was moved from our close to our own EZ up to another GodRunner in our two receiving turns so that first his father God and later his mother Madonna could score the two needed TD in the 2-1 victory. But he could have ended it even earlier if he had just managed to apply his sure hands and grab the ball in only one TZ (and rain) but that failed and extended the excitement until the end of the match.

For some reason Buddha received the MVP and has now learned to be more accurate. So next season he may become a more important part of the teams passing game that Jesus almost had monopoly on during the last few matches.

Furthermore the team will have improved their training before next season sporting four RR and yet another Nun has been hired for the cheering, and Josef has been hired as the 2nd assisting coach, so he can also keep and eye on his sluty wife Madonna.

With all this we should be ready to face next season, with 15 players ready with not a single permanent damage, and no less than 16 skills…

Well there were a single permanent damage as Frej suffered a –AV and both Thor and Odin was send back to Valhalla, but both these have returned as Thor A and Odin A, and Freja has taken her brothers place. (All with an A added to the original name to remind them that this is the second time they enter this spot on the roster.)

All these three damaged players has had their profile updates, as has all the 15 active players, so read through them once again if you are a fan ;-)

Speaking of fans! They have been fickle. Even with 7 wins and only 2 losses we have ended up with only 1 higher FF than when we started, and since we will have to give up the coach trophy that we were awarded at the beginning of the season, we will begin next season with the same FF as we started this season! Hopefully a full season with straight wins will take us above 13… :D

Although we failed to win the cup, we have still obtained great feats this season here is a dozen points of interest:

1) The 3rd place

2) We won our group B

3) We are taking the winter hibernation as the 2nd highest valued team, only beaten by the current champs.

4) Although Holy Spirit is only 5th on the top scorer list of the season, he is tied with the top scorer El Rapido for most scored TDs (10) this season. He is the 3rd most experienced player in the league.

5) God is tied 10th on the top scorer list with 8 TD (3rd most of the season), and he almost made it on to the top thrower list. He is tied 4th most experienced.

6) Jesus is 3rd on the top thrower list and he is also tied the leagues most experienced active player.

7) We have participated in a match with the tied highest gate of 74.000 (tying with the final). And during the group matches we played in the two matches with the highest gate (35.000). With the 3rd place being the match with 3rd highest gate, and only the other semi final going above the 35.000, we have thus played in 2 of the 3 and 4 of the 6 matches with most spectators! Of course we hence have the highest average gate of this season of more than 38.000 per game. (2nd most is 34.000 by the champs)

8) Jupiter has received one of the four looser placed bounties of 20k. Only 10 players have been thus acknowledged this season.

9) We won 7 out of 11 matches, and only lost two matches, one to each of the teams who made it into the final! Except for the champs who did not loose a single match (only one tie), we are tied 2nd with six other teams that have also only lost two matches this season. But we are the only team among those 7 to have played the maximum 11 matches so we have the 2nd lowest loss margin after the champs!

10) We only received 3 kills, of these only 2 permanent and Thor and Odin has already returned from Valhalla to the team as Thor A and Odin A, and only one permanent injury on Frej who has send his sister Freja to replace him while he recuperates in Valhalla. The apotech Jacob (brother of Jesus) who has been available for 10 matches, has only been needed 3 times, healing each time completely a kill on Tyr and both a niggling and a BH on his brother Jesus. With a cas score of 20-22 (2-3) the Gods have kicked back quite equally to what their opponents could come up with!

11) Our coach is the one to have made most post in the forum (was awarded with a best poster price earlier this year), has written the longest match reports (and one for all our matches) and he has by far written the longest bulletins in Aros… ;)

12) Thanks for reading this far, see you next season! :)

What happened? Muhammad happened!
This is what comes of letting a prophet in on the team! Our sure victory over the Chaos Dwarfs in the match:
Black Widows - Divine Rats (Season XVII, semi-final)
was destroyed by the misinterpretations of the Gods will by Muhammad!

In the first two turns he failed a simple blitz, and then when he finally came up again he did it again! Hence we lost 1st half. In the beginning of second half he seemed to be coming back into the game, making an important frenzy block to ensure the TD by Holy Spirit for 1-1, and finally a blitz worked next drive when he took Boxer down, so Tyr could foul the hideous creature MNG denying the cow to play the final!

But then the next two try for a blitz resulted in him standing enraged by his own shortcomings and in the end he held up the team, so we came after the dwarf cage to late, and hence they could score in the final turn and rob the Gods of their victory.

Very very disappointed! But after we have won the third place match our vengeance will strike upon you non-believers, and we shall return next season for the cup!

Once again we saw a Nordic god take a trip back to Valhalla, this time it was Odin and he now returns refreshed but with less wrestling abilities as Odin A, the “A” to remind him of not failing on the pitch again. It was by the way Boxer who inflicted this, and Muhammad at least ensured a quick revenge together with Tyr.

Also Frej has sent his sister Freja from Valhalla as he were not available himself. Well Freja or Frej A, what’s the difference? As long as she is willing to get up on the LoS against the Orcs from Elf Huggers in the 3rd place match next week.

So be there to see the first example of the Gods vengeance!

Norse are also humans & bites the dust!
Once again the troublesome fact that your Gods are a bunch of rats, disturbed the Norse Vikings, and when they accidental killed their favourite Nordic God Thor they got so scared that nothing worked for the team for the rest of the match:
Divine Rats - Guardians of Rojano (Season XVII, ¼-final)

At that point they had brought them self in front 0-1, but 3 TDs later it was 3-1 for us! Madonna scored twice again, four times in two matches, and Jesus were a passing maniac, making 4 complete passes and a safety throw out of Norse reach.

This safety pass, set up the last TD after Jesus made his 5th pass of the match, to Tyr who as opposed to Thor was healed by the apotech Jacob, after a rock from the fans accidentally killed him. (But as his brother Jesus, Jacob can heal the dead and the rock was not Tyr’s own fault.)

Then Tyr handed it to Loke and with a little help he got it and took the chance pushing it all he could to get out of reach, and next turn he scored the final TD and thus won the match, and from that he learned: Block

Thor had to go to Valhalla to recuperate after the match, but he will be back fresh and new before the semi final. Just to let him remember his errors he will now be known as Thor A. But he is just as good as before his little accident.

To get the game working better a cheerleader has been hired to control the fan (Mother Theresa, mother of thousands of rats, and hence mother to several of the fans), and also an assistant coach, John Paul, to help from the side line when head coach Kynde is busy telling the Gods what to do next.

With all this DR will most likely be the most valued team before the semi finals and with our coach trophy we will for sure also have the highest FF in the league at this point.

Everything points the only way it can, that the tournament will fall out to the Gods favour, and the trophy will be ours soon.

Humans bite the dust again
Once again the shock or realizing that all you Gods are “just” rats were to much for a human team, and we could easily clear them of the pitch in yesterdays match:

After a slow start DR got going towards the end of first half that should have resulted in a 2-1 advantage. But it failed because Holy Spirit RR skull to skull, when anything else wOnce again the shock or realizing that all your Gods are “just” rats were to much for a human team, and we could easily clear them of the pitch in yesterdays match:
Divine Rats - Double Dodgers (Season XVII, 1/8-final).

After a slow start DR got going towards the end of first half that should have resulted in a 2-1 advantage. But it failed because Holy Spirit RR skull to skull, when anything else would have left the ball on the ground with AG 5 sure hand Jesus close by. But in the two turns before this two casualties had removed both apos, and one player as the hired one did not work, and with yet another cas and 3 KOs before the end of turn 3 of 2nd half we had the humans crushed.

From there it was just a matter of letting Madonna score her second TD of the game in the last turn taking a secure victory home and giving her some well needed Nerves of Steel! Also God earned a new skill by a completion and is now to be feared by potential TD scorers as he now complements his blodge sidestep with Diving Tackle.

The wholly GodRunner trinity now all have 3 skills, Jesus and Holy Spirit has most and 2nd most spp in the league, with God on a 7th place. Only 8 players have become emerging stars this season, and DR has three of those! Holy Spirit is still tied top scorer of the season.

Also a linerat learned a new skill, it was Odin who now can Wrestle after receiving yet another MVP.

Especially Jesus is happy to be ready for next match, cause after a poor dodge, he almost smashed his knee, but his brother, team apo Jacob, was there and saved him. This was the first time Jacobs services had been needed since he was hired 7 matches ago.

As a final improvement of the team a new linerat has been added to the roster before we go to win the quarterfinal. Of course it is once again one of the old Nordic Gods. This time it is Heimdal the controller of the rainbow bridge “Bifrost”

With him on the team we are sure to find and win the gold and the championship! This is backed up by the fact that no team in the league has a higher value than divine rats!

So be there to see some GodRunner magic.

We are ready for the play-off
With the victory in our group Tyr have recieved our random extra MVP.

With that out of the way, it was time to sign up the new blood for the team.

Balder will be the nordic God joining the ranks of the Line Gods.

But more importantly is the mother of Jesus, the first female rat on the team: Madonna.

With this we have 14 Gods ready for the first play-off match. And DR now has the 2nd highest value in the league.

We have the current top scorer Holy Spirit and he is along with Jesus the most experienced player in the league.

With those two TD machines DR is also tied as the most scoring team this season.

It looks great for when we capture the trophy!

We have won our group!
Not that we ever had any doubt of course, but it looks good with DR on the top.

Yesterday in
Divine Rats - Dungheap Jinx (Season XVII, round 7)
we found out that Lucifer has made creatures so foul and hideous that even Gods can be revolted, and several times both Zeus, Jupiter and Muhammad failed to overcome their revulsion and in the end, together with many 1s, that cost us the victory.

After God scored the first TD in the beginning of the match it looked bright as Holy Spirit striped the ball from the opponent and God and Jesus got hold of it. But then God disappointed us all very much, as he tripped on a go for it, even with RR. And that resulted in Jesus getting BH instead.

Still in 2nd half Holy Spirit once again got the ball carrier, but 4 turns in a row a 1 cost first a block, and then 3 times to get a TZ on the ball/ball carrier. So in the end this cost us the victory as the foul Nurgle creatures had no problem marching the ball over the EZ in their last turn.

But we managed to get a full team with us into the play-offs as the jinx only made 3 BH and then a SI on our journey God. (Thanks go to him for helping our team).

On the other hand seeing such foul creatures made Muhammad go berserk and he killed Dark Spew and this time there were no saving Jesus cause he were BH, so the foul creature is now no more! :D
It was the first permanent kill caused by the Gods this season.

If God had not fallen the most likely outcome would have been that Jesus had made his 2nd completion of the match and God would have scored his 2nd TD afterwards. Both event would have given them new skills. But since it was not Jesus’ fault he were awarded the MVP after the match, and has now obtained a set of sure hands, so he is now designated thrower on the team, until Buddha improves.

Before the play-offs we will acquire two new Gods for the team. The mother of God (that is Jesus) will be another runner, and of course a Nordic God for the LoS. But since we expect a random MVP soon for our 1. place in the group, we will no hire these players until this has been decided since we rather wish to get an extra skill. Update follows when these players have been added.

But with those two players we have 14 for the play-off and our team will probably be the one with the highest value before the round of 16th. So be there to see us outrun and outsmart the lesser races.

Humbleness is the key word
In the last match against the Wood elfs
Greyhavien Renegades - Divine Rats (Season XVII, cross-over)
The Gods decided to show they could also be humble and let someone else win.

Sine they themselves invented the nemesis punishment for those who display hubris, they decided this was the right place in the tournament, and although elfs are not the chosen race, especially the Wood Elfs are the only one with speed comparable to the chosen Skaven race. Although this team had to hire the speed needed for winning the match…

But better to take this match now, and win the next five to take the champion, because else it should be against the dirty Nurgle next match. (Of course we will not loose in the play-off as we are going to win the championship).

As we now could relax in this match, we enjoyed letting the holy GodRunner trinity score TDs in the correct order: God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit is still top scorer of the season and we are still the team to have scored most TDs in the season. And even after this match we are still number one in our group, almost sure to keep this even if we should decide to not take points from Dungheap Jinx.

Only setback is that Frej was stupid enough to dodge through a TZ, and that cost him a serious concussion. Also Thor will miss next match, but that was the elfs fault, and of course we exacted vengeance, letting Muhammad get his first casualty in. Sadly he himself took his second BH in as many matches, when a tree fell over him in the last turn of the match. Hopefully he will soon be inspired by playing with all the other divinities.

So be there when he eats beast for breakfast next match… if he can keep it in him :p

Hattrick of elf slaying. The Welf is next
Breezing through their 4th win in a row, 3 in a row over elves of different races the Divine has ensured their place in the play-off already after their 5th match:
Blood Bowl Bunnies - Divine Rats (Season XVII, round 4)

And once again we take number one spot in our group. Tied for most points for any team, most TDs made and almost the best TD difference. And that record will also be ours after tomorrows match when we beat the Welfs that are now in front on that account!

Getting to 3-0 early in 2nd half sealed the deal for DR and with Holy Spirit scoring this hattrick he once again takes the lead (tied) as most experiences player of Aros, and he is now the top scorer! Also he has become even more dauntless than he used to be!

God made the first and Jupiter the second real casualty, the latter earning him self a new skill: Tackle. And in doing this he permanently injured the bunny hope, their new thrower Ko Π :D

The last casualty was made in a foul by Tyr who were also allowed to score the last TD for 4-1 and thus he has become even more dirty for next match.

Only blemish of course came from the only player not really a God, as Muhammad got BH by aforementioned thrower Ko Π. That was also why Jupiter had to exact the Gods vengeance upon her!

When we tomorrow take down the Woos Welfs from Greyhavien Renegades we will have had the ultimate pleasure to take all four elf races in a row. That has probably never happened before, but of course these kind of wonders often occurs around Gods.

So be there to witness another wonderful match!

We are taking down the elfs!
Maybe they believe they are the pure race but the Divine Rats knows better!

First we took the Darkies now the “we think High” of our elves :p
Divine Rats - Silvertower Guardians (Season XVII, round 5)

Next time it will be the “pro” elves and then with a bit of luck we might run into the Welfs in the cross over. Could be cool to take out all of the lesser elfs in a row!

God was the undisputed hero of the match with three TDs, and he has now joined the other two from the holy Trinity with two skills. A Blodging Side stepping God!

And finally Muhammad has been added to the team roster. This crazy prophet has been allowed on the team, although his Wild style is not always what the Gods wish. But he is strong and forceful and entertaining. He looks forward to frenzy some Bunnies and trip them with his tail in the next match against Blood Bowl Bunnies.

This also means that DR for the first time begins with 12 players on the roster, so no Journeymen are needed!

We are now the 2nd most valued team in the league, and of course tops our group, just a tail ahead of the other team of the chosen race Chaos49 who obviously has been inspired by playing against their Gods!

We have the two top scores of the season and the two most experiences players (3 of the top 5). It is going well for the Gods (as expected) and with Muhammad we expect at least 3 casualties on the Bunnies, but that will first be in almost 3 weeks from now. So there is something to look forward to until then.

Bless you, rats of all sizes!

We showed the Darkies what speed means!
Maybe we did not inflict the pain like in our two first matches, but our divine speed quickly made it a sure win in the match against the Darkies, who thinks they know what Hell is. Anyway they failed to bring it upon the Gods in the match:
Hellbringers - Divine Rats (Season XVII, round 3)

For this match we had a wandering God line rat, and a hireable GodRunner join our team. And they did a nice job, letting the sacred 11 Gods line-up, and for the first time with 4 GodRunners.

Jesus passed to the first of Holy Spirit\s TDs, God passed for the second, and in between these managed to make one himself. However, first after having some difficulties with the ball, failing a catch, and then a very easy pick-up... But the Gods were up 3-1 before they let the elves have a last unimportant TD.

Holy Spirit now also knows how to wrestle and along with his strip ball he is formidable at getting the ball loose from the opponents.

Furthermore the other players are catching up to the GodRunners, as Loke now knows how to kick the ball and very interesting Zeus has designed a little Claw for him self to be used against tough armour :)

The team is at the moment saving up for Muhammad to join the team, but he is very expensive, so we will have to wait yet a match before he enlist. In the meantime another journeyman is likely to be hired as Odin takes a break in next match.

So be there as the TDs keeps coming for the Gods.

DR shocks humans! 4-1 in TD 4-2 in cas
The humans that we bested in
Divine Rats - Human Super Pros (Season XVII, round 2),
were obviously shocked to find their gods were divine rats, and not human shaped as they had wrongly believed.

It took them most of the match to get so much over it that they could score a single TD, but at that point 4 casualties had wrecked them pretty bad, and a total of 4 TDs completed the beating.

Both God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit scored in yesterdays match.

Jesus even made two TDs, as well as two casualties including the teams first kill! Although, he healed the victim with his healing hands, just to show off. All this effort has made him the best player in the league after round 2. He has the most spp, he is the first to obtain 2 skills, and as the latter was +AG he is now the most agile player in the league, as well as tied as the fastest. People will look to him as their saviour for thousands of years to come! :p

God made two completions after his own TD for 1-0, both resulting in TDs from his fellow GodRunners. He has thus learned block.

We will be ready to take on the most impure race of all, the Dark Elfs this weekend. So be sure to pray to us, or else…

DR bestow their divine grace upon 49ers
The God’s decided to bestow their divine grace upon the chosen race from Chaos49.

Last evening DR faced the fallen race, which has been created in their image. And they decided not to humiliate and destroy them, and furthermore allowed them to score three TDs, the holy number of the trinity:
Chaos49 - Divine Rats (Season XVII, round 1)

DR was then also able to accomplish their goal by scoring the holy three times themselves. God did not get on the scoring board, but made a completion to Jesus who then did, and the Holy Spirit scored twice, once after a divine interception.

Both Jesus and the Holy Spirit feels more at ease on the BB pitch, and has learned Block and Strip Ball respectively.

Just to make sure the mortal rats from Chaos49 stayed humble the God’s showed them who were in charge on the pitch by inflicting 3 casualties during regular play, but of course only BH…

Both Zeus and Jupiter took out gutter runners, and Buddha showed a blitzer into the crowd.

In the end, when the match were in principle decided, Arapmoi showed a little hubris, and that was punished by Tyr who smashed his jaw, causing him to MNG, but still no permanent damage has been inflicted, no harm done, and the rats from Chaos49 will be forever grateful for the God’s grace.

After the match Jesus’s younger brother Jacob, who also has some of his healing abilities were hired as team apotech, since Jesus will be too busy on the pitch to look after any fallen Gods. He can be seen in the picture below, in the back left, with the tall staff and the knife.

Another Aros coach has also realized he should better pay homage to the God’s, and hence he sacrificed his Coach Trophy and handed it over to The Supreme Kynde the Rat, before the season began, to help increase the God’s FAME. We all bless you, coach of Shadows of Sorcery. :)

DR now has a logo - and team picture
The Gods all bless Holstebro, after he has made the fabulous team logo for DR. Thanks mate :)

Everyone should recognize Gutter Runner Jesus who modelled for the logo.

Below our bulletins the whole team has also been depicted. Of course only 11 of the divinities from the picture will start on the team, as 11 is the sacred number, but many of the other small gods awaits their turn to enter the team. In front you find the smallest but most powerful rat: The Supreme Kynde the Rat! Coach of the DR. Next to him is the cheerleader, who will lead the chant later on. In the back left the apotech is ready with his “scalpel” and in the centre the huge Mohamed is eagerly awaiting his chance to hit the field (and the opponents).

The 11 Gods on DR will soon all have their personnel picture shown on their datasheet. So far only the positional players have been depicted. It is of course, as opposed to many beliefs, allowed to take pictures of the Gods; else there would be problems with all the fans (fanatics? :D )

Check out these photos of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, as well as for Zeus, Jupiter and Buddha.

Tonight is the night, were the Gods will walk the pitch again, so be there or be doomed!

The Divine Rats have joined Aros
With all the prayers going out to the players on this team, (see description above), there is actually no chance the team won't win Aros BBL season XVIII.
(Or any other season they play in or any match for that matter) .

So be warned all, don't mess with the gods, especially not with the Gutter Trinity: God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

The gods are back in town!
