Match notes
It seemed like a close match, that could go either way, but in the end the Diciples wore down DD with lots of KOs and 4 serious injuries and hence took home the victory in the dying seconds of the match.

85.000 fans had shown up and enjoyed the very sunny weather as DD kicked-off to Diciples. It resulted in a touchback to Lilach who proceded down pitch over the next few turns.
But then suddenly an opening showed, and he was blitzed down, one dice, and the ball bounced around into the middle of a whoole bunch of players. The next turns were very messy, but when DD again managed to make the ball bounce it was caught by ST 4 blodge hobgoblin Maitos.

Diciples then tried to draw out the time, and in the last turn Lilach, who had gotten the ball back, ran down next to the EZ and hoped to be safe there.

But then suddenly something worked for DD who manged to blitz him out next to the sideline, between wich he was now squezed by ST 4 Ghoul Mad Max. But although all what DDs players tried worked out, the coach lost his head, when he put The Green Ghost the wrong place, and hence made it possible for Keltharos Jr. to take a two dice blitz (and there were no RR left) to free the ball carrier, or else he would have had to make a 4+ dodge to score without RR. Now Lilach were free to take the Diciples to 1-0 in first half.
Apart from Volthas who SI Benno Brausekopf II that was the only event of first drive.

Necromancer Kynde was very anoyed and when the ref threw Argos of pitch for a last turn foul, he argued so much as to be thrown of along with him. (The foul was a KO, but the dwarf were ready for next half).

DDs fans disliked this and the ref was killed during the break, so no one was there to watch over the two teams, and to DDs dismay it were the Diciples that used this the most to play it quite dirty the rest of the match.

However, in order to still have a chance for the victory DD played hard for the TD in their reciving drive, and managed to score in only 2 turns. 1-1 by Lex Liche. Before the TD Harkan Drakos had managed to SI Uffe (Whom the Diciples coach for some reason did not like? :p ), but he regenerated (only to come back to be KOed in the last drive).

From then on nothing worked for DD, and slowly the team were removed from the pitch, both wights were KOed along with two more and two were SI, first Sinistra Dextre was fouled out by Malik and later Morkan Lokas took out Xorn really bad, but he at least managed to regenerate.

In the end DD had only 5 players on pitch, but with a single go for it Stand Firm mummy Ramses the 5th could have put a TZ on the ball carrier, but once again a 1 came up, very typical for DDs 2nd half.

And then Maitos gave DD a last chance for a draw as he decided to hand the ball to Keltharos Jr., but he grabed it for the victroy and 2-1 to the Diciples.

Only downer for Diciples was when exactly Keltharos Jr. failed a go for it early in the drive (not so sure feet there) and he would have recived a niggling for that, but luckily the apotech was there and healed him. Hence it became a very good match for Diciples.

Grongni who recived the MVP just increased his strength in pride, and now has the strange stats of 4418 stand firm, guard, block, tackle!

Although the gate was high the teams only earned 20/10 k after the match.

Of course some of DDs many fans were disgusted by their teams performance, and some of them have probably left to join the Diciples in the play-offs. Wether DDs remaining fans will see their team in the play-offs might not be decided until DDs final match next week…
