Match notes
Although The Headz was expected to win the entire season according to the bookies, even hirering a wizard was not enough against a potent Deadly Doom that was strengthened enormously by joining forces with Vampire Lord Count Luthor von Drackenburg. He was heavily involved in both DD's TDs, making a short pass for the first tieing TD and scored the other TD himself. Right before he finished the game off, by catching the kick-of by Brill in a blitz, hence making it that much harder for Squik A'lot to make that tieing one turner, thus ensuring DD the vicory and a place in the quaterfinals.

A wizzard joined Headz, and both Count Luthor and a crazy DD mummy fan joined DD for this important game. Furthermore Xorn was so inspired by being in the play-offs that he learned block just before the game started with a kick-off by DD.

The fans was cheering for DD and emideately it looked good for DD, when Fang'zy TouzzH failed an easy pick-up, but Eata Corpus began the match using a RR on a double skull and only one DD TZ was on the ball. This was quickly removed and Squik A'lot managed to make an accurate long bomb to Weasly Rat'tail who ran almost out of reach. Thus in the next turn the AG 4 rat made an easy dodge and scored for 0-1 in turn 3.

Eata Corpus got the ball after the kick-off, and was keept safely in a cage untill turn 6 when he was within scoring reach. Before this Argos had fouled Hanzz so seriously that the apotech decided to step up and heal him, and Squiil'A had BH Conan. (From that he learned block).

But then Headz wizzard stepped up and threw a fire ball over the cage. And although both Eata Corpus and Count Luthor avoided the flames, The Green Ghost was stunned, Argos was KOed and Bram Stoker was knocked over. Hence it was easy for Hanzz to get a two dice blitz in, and he stunned Eata Corpus thus freeing the ball. This could easily have meant the end of DDs scoring chances, with both AG 4 Ghouls stunned, but the following pass from Red Eyezz was inaccurate, and ended up in the crowd, and again DDs fans helped, by throwing the right way.

Count Luthor blitzed his way free and dodged to get the ball, and although he could not be protected well, he reamined in place eventhough daunteless Magnuz Tagmuz managed to get a two dice block on him. In the last turn several moves succeded for DD before Count Luthor was able to run freely and make a short pass to Eata Corpus who was now waiting in the end zone ready to catch it and thus tie the match after first half. 1-1.

Necromancer Kynde was very pleased that the wizzards effort, in the end, was wasted.

In second half all players were ready again even BH Conan regenerated. So even with 3 mighty blow players no rats were injured... DD’s fans disliked this and LoS rat Dirty Razzkel was KOed by a rock thrown by a fan. Ra got the meassage and revenged Conan by BH his BHer Squiil'A.

Count Luthor picked up the ball, and was secured in a cage. Headz almost keept up head countes when Magnuz Tagmuz made an important KO on Stand firm mummy Ramses the 5th in thier first turn and Tearr A'Parte pushed out Xorn in the following turn. However, then Tearr A'Parte found himself between a blitzing (and ball carying) Count Luthor and the crowd, and also he was send of pitch. Although he was not injured and probaly killed a couple of innocent spectators, he had to spend the rest of the drive in the reserve box (as it also was the case with Xorn). With four more KOs made by DD (one on a foul) only 4 rats were left vs 9 and these four rats could do nothing to stop Count Luthor who in DD’s last turn scored for 2-1.

But 4 of 6 KOed rats came back in and they could still put 11 on pitch for the last drive and with a leader re-roll left from awoken team captain Red Eyezz, Squik A'lot had a decent chance to make the tieng one turner needed.

But DD had other plans as they blitzed the rats and Count Luthor caught the ball. But they did not manage to push away Squik A'lot

So the one turner was still a possibility when Count Luthor was klnocked over, but then rookie gutter runner Zpeedy Gonzales'dangudiz' who had been run in to assist caught the bouncing ball, even though Red Eyezz was screaming that he should let it go. Zpeedy Gonzales'dangudiz' did not listen and thus there were no longer any chance for Squik A'lot to get the ball. The rats got pretty pissed and Hanzz took out his anger out on poor Zed and killed him and he failed to regenerate.

But it was only a little stain on DD's celebrating of their quaterfinal place.

Hanzz was of course elected MVP for the rats, after he in this way probaly ensured that the team becomes most leathal, and that he also becomes moth leathal player of the season with 5 kills.

DD only earned 30 k and may have trouble financing the participation of Count Luthor in the semfinals, wheras Heads made 60 k.

However, DD stole some fans from Headz and has now increased their FF four times in a row to 14.

In the end 4 St 5 players was more than Headz coach could manage, especially when the wizzards efford was in vain.
