Match notes
Deadly Dooms fans took care of the referee while DD’s dirty player took care of the Overlords, and it looked like a safe victory for DD, but in the end a magnificent move from the Lords almost stole away the victory, however, the Undead prevailed and took the victory home in the last turn.

Before the game Mad Max had some serious problems with his stomach after eating some rotten corpses, and he actually had to stay off pitch the whole game. The only time he were ready, he claimed he would not be on pitch at the same time as Ramses the 5th because he has already seen enough toilet paper. And then his head coach decided to let him stay in the dugout!

In the fine weather more than 50.000 fans flowed into DD’s stands, completely over shading the few fans from Alzheim. And with all the beer DD’s fans began by toying with the ref. So he did not pay much attention to what happened on pitch, in the first two turns were Argos took Franz Heckler out BH and the next turn he was followed by strong Eddie deMenza who had a concussion and will miss next match. Argos continued his dirty play KOing 4 more humans.

The Overlords only managed to make one KO and one Cas, but it hurt, as Udo Koch ripped the head of Eldahmar "Broken" Chain preventing any chance of regeneration…

But when S. Finxter scored in the final turn of the half for 1-0, only 5 humans were left on pitch, only a fifth KO were caused by a mummy.

Before second half DD’s fans killed the ref again, and 3 of the KOs came back leaving the Lords with 10 players.

This was, however, enough to break through DD’s defence and already in turn 3 could Hermann von Greiven make a simple dodge for a TD to 1-1.

This was too much for DD’s fans and they killed their 3rd ref for the evening! This did not help DD that much , and only a single KO came from fouling, but after a shaky start with some bad blocking the DD train moved forward down pitch.

But what was that. A hole was left open in the defence, and with only two dodges a one dice blitz could be performed on ball carrier Lex Liche and he were knocked down. Luckily for DD mummy Ramses the 5th were able to tackle Heiko Steyr before he could dodge away to get the ball, and Lex Liche managed to secure the ball again.

But it was no sure victory as he now had to push it all he could to make the TD in the games last turn, but Lex Liche managed it before the match was over, and stayed on his feet to score the winning TD for 2-1.

The fans liked the spectacle enough to stay with both their teams, and the teams could take home 70 vs. 60 kgp for the match.

DD obtained two new skills, one for Sinistra Dextre who learned to side step from his completion, and S. Finxter added tackle to his skills after his TD.

DD were the huge favourites before the match, but even with all the help from the fans, it could have gone wrong due to their overconfidence. Maybe they have now learned not to take any opponents too lightly.

The Overlords can take pride in their effort to almost tie DD, and be happy that it was they who inflicted a kill, not the other way around!
